Attempted theft with injury Kia's reputation has caused this vehicle to be at risk for theft. Many resulting in injury. Kia had vehicle in 2023 and completed "upgrade" and placed stickers on the windows. Vehicle was still targeted. Insurance rates are insane for this as a result.

Vehicle was returned by dealership with soaking wet carpet and horrible smell after appointment a week later. Mold issues since. Vehicle used to transport Vetran with termial lung disease

Vehicle had water falling from dash while turning. Sizzling/Hissing noise with water sloshing around in dash area. Asked by dealer "where do you keep it parked" I asked them where they kept it parked back because it was purchased 8/15/2019 and began making the noises in early october when we got rain. Vehicle given back from the dealership with excessively wet carpet and smelling of mold and fish flies.

electronic functions of vehicle was unresponsive. unable to turn off radio. unable to change volume. unable to control A/C. unable to answer calls. all buttons unresponsive Dealership called on date with no answer. message left. Dealership informed at next in person visit and dealership said there was nothing that could be done because it was not occuring at that time. Video was obtained because of ongoing issues with electrical components with same response from dealership and lack of attempt to make any effort to diagnose @ Taylor Kia Toledo Ohio. Staff still said they could not do anything.

Vehicle would not turn off. had an earlier issue this day with loss of controls of anything electrical on steering wheel/dash/infotainment center. When vehicle was turned off and keys removed electrical compents would not turn off, Radio/AC/Fan. Attempted to turn car off and on again. Did not resolve the issue. Attempted to call dealership service department, No answer. Called family for help because I was concerned the batter would die. We were traveling and I did not want to leave vehicle in parking lot with elrectical running on a hot day. Advised by family to attempt disconnecting battery. Disconnected battery and electrical turned off. Dealership called on date with no answer. message left. Dealership informed at next in person visit and dealership said there was nothing that could be done because it was not occuring at that time. Video was obtained because of ongoing issues with electrical components with same response from dealership and lack of attempt to make any effort to diagnose @ Taylor Kia Toledo Ohio. ongoing headlight malfunction since 2022, ongoing electrical issues with vehicle. vehicle headlight does not work on multple occasions despite being serviced at the dealership and replaced 4 times in 2 years. this occurs to both headlights. it is currently random for the right but constant for the left cover (backing) of headlight looks like it exploded. plastic is puffed out. Dealership had vehicle from 5/4/2023 to 8/1/2023. returned unresolved

back up camera/infotainement screen went black while backing up twice in driveway. About 10 minutes later infotainment center restarted it's self and prompted me to verify safety while driving. Kia case manager emailed directly due to open case regarding ongoing electical issues causing accident earlier in year. Kia unable to provide rental/transportation due to "covid" and "shortages". Appointment was missed 10/30/2021 due to unavailable transportation and issues potentially taking weeks to diagnose at dealership. Kia did not arrange/approve transportation as promised.

Was driving on the [XXX] with my children and puppy on a truck/car route and my engine made a noise and the car slowed down and jerked. I pulled over, turned my car off to check for smoke, leaked, and my tires but nothing seemed wrong. When I tried to start the car the engine light came on blinking and then the battery and oil light came on. The safety of my family and I was freshly put at risk with hundreds of trucks passing by and my car almost swerving into and oncoming truck in the lane to my right. My car has been towed the the dealership where I purchased it to be checked today on 7/3/2024. The used vehicle was purchased at Brick City Motors at 346 Broadway Avenue, Newark, NJ 07104. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BACK UP LIGHTS:BULBS
The contact owns a 2016 Kia Sorento. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, the rear brake lights became inoperable on several occasions. The contact was pulled over due to the rear lights being inoperable. The contact noticed that the sockets for the bulbs had overheated. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the bulbs. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

ENGINE
Engine is burning oil. Engine only has 116,000 miles on all maintenance has been kept up to date - has never missed an oil change, only ever used full-synthetic. Should not be consuming this amount of oil. Also dash board lights pertaining to engine or oil never come on.
