Two bolts that hold the wheel assembly to the frame of the vehicle have broken off. The first in April 2025 was on the passenger side, and the second in July 2025 was on the driver side. The Jeep service personnel provided no explanation for how this could happen or seemed to have inspected the other components after the vehicle was serviced for the first broken bolt.

After going on and off intermittently for the last year, the rear view camera system stopped working altogether! There is a recall for my Year (21) and model (Jeep compass) but unfortunately my vin number is excluded from this recall and Stellantis says there's nothing they can do on their end to assist me with this issue. This creates a safety issue whenever I'm backing up anywhere. To diagnose the problem, my dealership wants to charge me $210.00 just to look at it. There are no warning lights except words on my black screen that say "camera system unavailable"

Increased a 2022 Jeep Compass with 25500 Miles and was almost $25.000.00 from Carvana Based out of Atlanta and Tempe AZ. My daughter was so excited as it was delivered by Carvana and about 2 hours after it was delivered to her she drove it onto the highway and as soon as she drove it on the highway at about 50 miles per hour it rattled so violently and pulled right like the vehicle was about to fall apart. So frantically and scared and crying was able to Limp it to the side of the highway and called me and called Carvana & took almost 2 hours to get someone live other than robots chat things. She was told by Carvana to take it to pep boys. With no apology or a bit of concern for her safety said nothing or even apologized. A criminal company. So the service manager said that he could not believe that a so called 150 point inspection that the most important system for safety on a vehicle being the braking system. The rotors were bad and warped. They were never turned or replaced. He said they took a horrible and risky and illegal repair at Carvana with just putting new brake pads on damaged rotors and a badly worn tire and never balanced any of the tires and all were terribly out of balance and alignment was so far off specs he was upset she could even drive it down the street so this is unacceptable and unsafe and I hope this criminal company can be fined and sued and made an example out of. I will be contacting the media in Atlanta, Georgia and Tempe, Arizona as well as the local newspapers & news channels on your side for investigations. Also I will notify the organizations I belong to after serving in Iraq and [XXX] being the reason I could not go see it as it was delivered as they don’t allow test drives or inspection by customer before delivery so we rely on these crooked people to make sure 150 point inspection of nothing. But being a [XXX] I will contact the [XXX] & American Legion & VFW as social media. [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(

Electrical system is astoundingly horrible in these Jeep Compasses. When steering wheel is turned to make a turned or when it is raining, the dashboard lights up with error messages stating, front collision unavailable, auto high beam unavailable, Auto Emergency Braking Limited Functionality, blind spot alert unavailable all requiring service. This is not the first Jeep Compass this has happened too, it also happened with my previous Compass - which I took it in for service more than 11 times for these same issues.

When driving on expressway at about 70 mph. Engine light comes on. Car loses acceleration. Start stop states it’s unavailable. Have to pull over on side of road and turn car off. Restart car and it drives normally with engine light on. Took it to a local dealership and they stated it need ed a software update. They then test drove the car and problem did not reoccur. The very next day while driving on the expressway again at about 70 mph. Same problem has occurred. The car has 26,996 miles on it as is still under warranty. How can a software update cause a car not to function while driving. If we would have been in a middle lane and unable to pull off on side of road we would have been required to stop and turn off car in the middle of the expressway.

The defective part is: the air bag under the steering column or in that area, on the driver's side. Date of accident: [XXX] --There is a police report but I don't have it yet. Report number [XXX] I hit a parked car in the middle of the road after turning a corner on [XXX] .. This info may be relevant for speed questions, I think around ten MPH. The airbag deployed and became detached from the vehicle, hitting my lower legs causing a severe wound in my left lower leg. I was in the hospital for five days and had plastic surgery to repair a deep wound. After the collision, I got out of the car. I got back in to retrieve my purse and noticed that airbag was laying on the floor under the steering column attached to a large black nut detached from the vehicle. Reports and inspections: --Avis Corporation owned the vehicle, I assume they inspected the damage to the vehicle after the accident. The Liability Insurance Certificate name is Aon Risk Services, Inc. in the state of Florida --Tetra Tech was my employer and insurer of the vehicle and myself, I'm sure they inspected the vehicle --Sedgwick manages claims for Safety National Casualty Corporation on behalf of Tetra Tech, Inc.. I'm sure a Sedgwick representative is aware of the vehicle condition and inspection. --I do not have knowledge about the extent or focus of their investigations. - #11661728May 18, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Starting at 300 miles, the vehicle displayed a warning message that said Automatic emergency braking system unavailable service required. The Jeep dealer in Austin, Minnesota inspected this vehicle and gave us paperwork saying there is no fix available for this safety system and Stelantis engineers are aware of complaints and investigating. This fault/error shuts off this safety feature which puts the driver and occupants in danger of injury and or death when this automatic braking system is needed and not working. A constant warning light is displayed. This has been ongoing since March of this year. Please force a recall and or fix of this vehicle. An online search shows this is a common issue on Jeep Compass vehicles since the 2023 model year. This vehicle has one other issue where the electronic parking brake is randomly turning on by itself with no driver input.

When driving the car will randomly active automatic emergency braking, which is especially dangerous on the highway. Lane departure has pulled me to the wrong lane, or will randomly become unavailable. Blind spot monitoring occasionally doesn’t work, or will also randomly become unavailable. Dealership made aware but unable to recreate circumstances in which they become unavailable or faulty. There are never prior warnings, this will happen whenever. There are multiple other ‘24 Jeep Compass owners who report the same issue online.

For 6months I have a low oil pressure light come on before my oil change is due. Dealer has ran 3 oil consumption test pass/fail/pass the next one will fail as I had to add 2 quarts or oil this week and my oil change isn’t due for 2k more miles. There is no leak visible so it must be within the motor. As well as I have already replaced start/stop battery as well as main battery bc if the start/stop and it hasn’t been a year and the lights are back on and I can’t engage it. The oil issue start before the warranty went out the first time. Now I have no warranty and have to feed the car oil. It is ridiculous. This needs to be a recall. 2018 had a recall for this same oil issue. Now we need it for newer models.

- #11657384April 28, 2025SEAT BELTS
The seat belts on both sides of the rear seats have frayed completely through the belt webbing at the same exact point. Where the belts connects to the retractor I believe is the name of it. Both belts are entirely separated at the point where they pass through the outer wall. If my inspection station didn't notice the problem on the passenger rear they would not have looked at the driver's side rear which was not completely separated and any occupant could have seriously been hurt. The Dealership inspected them and confirmed the damages described above and the manufacturer (Jeep) also was notified of this defect. They were no warning signs.

we purchased the car in Jan of 24 (lease) - for my 16 year old. wanted a SAFE car that was reliable. We had issues since the start - the interior goes black - nothing inside the car works but it still drives. No blinkers, no back up camera, not heat, no radio, no lights - nothing - it has been in the shop 6 times. Well over 30 days and nothing has fixed the same problem. Jeep has not worked with us on a solution. AWFUL customer service. we have asked for the lemon law buy back - no follow up or explanation. Looking for ANY help we can get. This car has been awful/ this has been happening the whole time - but most recent was when we brought it in on 4/4 - and still do not have the car back.
