SummaryBATTERY QUICK CHARGE NOTICE SERVICE INFORMATION When charging the vehicleâs 12 volt battery with the high amperage quick charge function, the ignition should never be ON, or turned ON, while charging. Attempting to start the vehicle, or turning the ignition ON, while using the high amperage quick charge could potentially damage the fuel pump control module. ï· Only turn the ignition ON when either the ESM or a technical service bulletin service procedure states to do so, and only while using a battery maintainer or smart charger set to reflash mode, or a similar setting. ï· Battery voltage should not exceed 16V during a reprograming operation.

Once the BCM and Intelligent Key unit have been paired, portions of the configuration are locked and can no longer be changed. ï· When replacing the BCM, it is critical to follow the work procedure as detailed in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: ELECTRICAL & POWER CONTROL > BODY CONTROL SYSTEM > BASIC INSPECTION > ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING BCM To prevent damage to the BCM, perform module configuration BEFORE pairing the BCM and Intelligent Key unit.

SummaryCOMBINATION METERS CANNOT BE SWAPPED SERVICE INFORMATION Do not swap combination meter modules between APPLIED VEHICLES vehicles for any reason. Due to a new electrical architecture, the vehicle mileage is now stored in multiple control modules. When a mileage difference is detected between modules, the module with the lower value will be immediately overwritten, replacing it with the higher mileage. If a new combination meter module is installed, it will automatically be overwritten to the correct vehicle mileage.
