On December 26, 2025, the supplemental restraint system problem appeared on the dashboard. On January 6, 2026, vehicle was taken to Stockton Honda service department to performed a diagnostic test and multi-point inspection was completed. As I am driving the steering becomes sticky and can be hard to turn the wheel. As a result my alignment is now off on my brand new accord and I have researched and it seems ro be a widespread issue. I would like for Honda to find a permanent solution so that we do not experience a sudden loss in steering or an issue where we may have to jerk the wheel especially on the expressway where it could potentially lead to a loss of control at high speeds.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle unexpectedly came to a stop without the brake pedal being depressed. The “BRAKE” message was displayed on the instrument panel. The failure occasionally occurred while the cruise control feature was activated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V785000 (Electrical System). Additionally, occasionally the electrical system was inoperable, and the instrument panel failed to function properly, and the trunk and fuel door unexpectedly opened. The contact also stated that the automatic door locks failed to function properly, requiring several attempts to enter the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to several dealers; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures, and the contact was offered a buyback option for the vehicle. The contact expressed concerns that, due to the multiple failures, the vehicle was unsafe to operate and created a hazardous condition, because the vehicle was almost in a crash with children inside the vehicle. The approximate failure mileage was 33,000.

I am submitting this as a formal and urgent complaint regarding serious safety issues with a vehicle I recently purchased. The trunk opens on its own while I am driving, which creates an immediate safety hazard. In addition, the backup camera is malfunctioning, further increasing the risk when reversing or parking. Shortly after reporting the trunk issue, the radio also stopped working. I have contacted the dealership regarding these concerns, but no corrective action has been taken. Given that this vehicle was recently purchased and involves active safety risks, this lack of response is unacceptable. I am requesting immediate inspection and repair of these issues, as well as written confirmation of how the dealership plans to resolve this matter promptly. Please consider this issue urgent due to the safety risks involved. I look forward to your immediate response.

The car will suddenly have a high-pitched screaming coming from the speakers for no apparent reason with no way to stop the noise. Turning the sound system to zero volume or even turning the power to the radio off does not stop the noise. I have measured the decibel level between 80 -128 decibels with no way to make it stop. I have had to stop the vehicle on the freeway multiple times and turn off the car engine for 15-20 minutes to make it stop. I have recorded the sounds if anyone is interested in hearing them I tried to upload a file but it wouldn't let me an Mp4 file. Honda swears they have never received this complaint before but my google search shows this is a known problem that costs between 2K - 4K to fix. This is a hazard and needs to be recalled. Please help. I paid 35K for this vehicle. I've been dealing with this issue for over 4 years. and I believe my hearing is becoming impaired because of this issue.

My wife was driving on a highway while taking our grandchildren to day care. The vehicle lost power causing her try ti pull to the side of a main highway. All of the check engine lights went on. We brought the vehicle to Honda and the dealership said they found coolant in the combustion chamber. It needs a head gasket, at a cost of $4800.00. The car has 76,000 miles on it. We understand that there is currently a class action lawsuit for Honda Accords of this year and make. Kindly advise us as to what we can do as this is causing us extreme stress and financial hardship. We need help. Thank you for your assistance. Steering feels sticky at highway speeds. Noticeably different, irregular and inconsistent effort required to begin steering motion. May cause over correction due to inconsistent effort required to steer. Steering does not have the same sticky feeling at residential speeds.

From the beginning of my lease, the vehicle experienced repeated malfunctions of its safety and proximity sensor systems, including warning alerts and sensor-related failures. The vehicle was taken multiple times to an authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis and repair. Despite these repeated service visits, the safety sensor issues were never properly repaired or resolved. I later discovered that the vehicle was subject to an active safety recall, which was never disclosed to me, even though the vehicle was serviced at the dealership on multiple occasions. Subsequently, the vehicle was involved in an accident that resulted in a total loss. Based on the unresolved sensor failures and the undisclosed recall, I believe these safety defects may have contributed to the accident. This complaint is submitted to report a serious safety concern and to request that NHTSA investigate whether similar vehicles may present a broader safety risk.

Out of no where - the speakers start blaring this loud scrambled sound. (Like a dead channel on TV.) Even when the radio is off. The speakers roar so load you can not concentrate to drive. No warning, just happens. I can go days/weeks without it happening, then boom - scare me so bad when it comes on out of no where. There is no rhyme or reason to when it will happen - could be driving slow or fast, could be hot or cold outside. Could be soon as you start the car or in the middle of driving after an hour. Thought it was a fluke but here were are - 2 months later and it's happened at least 5 times.

Complete loss of power on acceleration. Car goes limp while driving on highway or a 50 mph street - very dangerous to have loss of power when other cars are driving fast too. We have replaced the spark plugs, coils, and fuel injectors. That was a waste of time and money bc the same problem existing- loss of power again! Turns out, it’s bc the Head gasket has a design flaw - deep grooves between the cylinder heads and head bolts that are not strong or tight enough. I have lost all trust for Honda bc this has not been issued as a recall. After quick online research- Everyone is having the same issue who has these models, this needs to be a safety recall bc Honda created a faulty head gasket design. This car is not safe bc the head gasket design, and I’m making payments on a car that I can’t even drive. Unethical for Honda to not take accountability for this! I’m driving my 03 Toyota that has over 300k miles is more reliable than this 2020 Honda - paying for a car I can’t drive makes me despise Honda for not issuing this recall.

On Nov 7, 2025, I took my 2018 Honda Accord (VIN: [XXX] ) to "Honda of Gainesville" (Dealer #208034). 1. Recall Negligence: The dealership performed unauthorized repairs on the vehicle's fuel system (alleged fuel injector failure). However, while the vehicle was in their service bay for fuel system work, they failed to perform or even disclose active NHTSA Safety Recall 23V-858 (Fuel Pump), which is open on this specific VIN. The dealership prioritized unauthorized, billable fuel repairs while knowingly releasing the vehicle with a mandatory federal safety defect still present in the fuel system. 2. Safety Coercion: Service Advisor [XXX] used safety fear tactics to coerce the unauthorized work, claiming the vehicle was entering "limp mode" and would become inoperable/dangerous to drive. Independent diagnostic analysis (OBD2) performed after the service revealed ZERO error codes and no history of the claimed failure. The dealership fabricated a safety hazard ("limp mode") to generate revenue while ignoring a real safety hazard (Recall 23V-858). Associated Investigations: A formal complaint regarding the unauthorized repairs has been filed with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture (Case #XXX-XXX). I noticed random misfires months ago. I've replace my spark plug three times in 6 months. My coils are good, etc. It started getting worse about a month ago. It goes into limp mode and suddenly slows to 20 mph. Some days it won't start. The dash lights flash and the cars computer goes crazy it won't go over 20 mph. This is a widespread issue causing ppl to spend thousands and no fix in sight. Usually it hits between 15-90k miles. Twice I was on the interstate and it just slowed to 20 mph. I have had it at the dealer twice. They are clueless and can't do much without Honda stepping up. Honda needs to address this. My car was built in 2021 and somehow missed a major recall. It's putting stress on my catalytic converter and other parts that cost thousands to fix. I'm taking it in on Monday for the third time. If they can pinpoint it this time I'm afraid it might cost me thousands. It's a Honda and it shouldn't be having issues from 15k to 90k.

After pulling my car in forward, my front cv axel was broke off and I had to have my car towed in to be fixed. The issue is consistent with a similar issue reported on [XXX] After reading through this, I need to know if I am at risk of further vehicle trouble now that my axel is repaired and if this is a recalled issue for my Honda Accord, then I want to ensure others can get this information right away.
