SummarySome 2026 Transit vehicles may exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B00DF:4A stored in the restraints control module (RCM) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. If there are no observable vehicle symptoms, the DTC will clear using the "Self-Test" app within the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). Replacement and/or programming of the RCM is not needed to resolve this condition. If there is an observable vehicle symptom and/or the DTC will not clear, follow normal Workshop Manual diagnosis.

SummarySome 2022-2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with driver assistance features and minor feature codes DBCBB and DBCBC may exhibit driver assistance feature warning messages displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Additionally, some modules may store invalid data/lost communication related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). The image processing module A (IPMA) should not store these DTCs. This condition may be due to the software in the IPMA, causing it to not communicate on the network. Whether the issue is intermittent or the IPMA is currently failing to communicate, download and run the "IPMA - Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Recovery" app in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If IPMA communication had to be restored using the Recovery App, download and run the "IPMA - Image Processing Module (IPMA) Alignment" app, recheck DTCs and confirm that all warning messages are cleared from the IPC.<br /><br /> If these steps correct the condition, release the vehicle back to the customer. Advise the customers that a permanent repair to prevent recurrence is expected to be Some 2026 Transit vehicles built without a telematic control unit module (TCU) (minor feature code IEPAA) may exhibit diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U0146 stored in the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module and/or U016A stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module C (SOBDMC) when a diagnostic self-test is performed. Because these vehicles are not built with a TCU, no diagnosis or repair is required. <br /><br /> To confirm a vehicle is built with minor feature code IEPAA, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner of the Professional Technician System (PTS).

This may be due to PCM software and/or axial movement of the CDF clutch cylinder (7H351) sleeve causing hydraulic circuit leaks. NOTE: If internal transmission service is required to address a concern detected with the CDF clutch cylinder following this article, technicians should carefully inspect and replace other transmission components and flush transmission fluid cooler only as necessary to confirm proper function. SummarySome 2020-2025 various Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system (BLIS) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may also be accompanied by diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B118C:11 and/or B118C:15 stored in the driver door module (DDM), and/or B118D:11 and/or B118D:15 stored in the passenger door module (PDM). This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z-14A411-B to resolve the concern.

SummarySome 2025 Bronco Sport/Transit vehicles equipped with R-134a refrigerant systems may exhibit a concern of the air conditioning (A/C) blowing warm with a leak detected at the low side service port. This may be due to a concern with the low side service port cap clearance causing the service port valve to open slightly when the cap is fully seated. To correct the condition, discard the old service port cap and service port valve. Install a new service port valve, recharge the system, and install a new low side service port cap using part number DS7Z-19D702-B. For claiming, use causal part 19D702 and labor operation 19700A of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

SummarySome 2022-2025 E-Transit vehicles may exhibit an unsuccessful programmable module installation (PMI) and/or software updates on the GWM using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. FDRS may also show the GWM in the toolbox topology view as having diagonal lines through it, indicating that there is a data error for the GWM. This may be due to missing module configuration data in the Ford database. To correct this condition, select the envelope icon at the top right corner of FDRS, select "Refresh Vehicle Files", then click "Continue". Once the "Refresh Vehicle Files" completes, start a new FDRS session and then reattempt GWM programming. Engineering is working to correct this module data. The concern is expected to be resolved by October 2025.

SummaryVarious 2019-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 may experience a partially or fully black center display screen at start-up using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This does not affect rear camera operation. This may be due to interference from the phone being connected into the media hub using a universal serial bus (USB) cable during SYNC system boot up. To correct his condition, advise the customer to disconnect the USB cable from the phone. If the center display screen displays normally, reconnect the phone. If the concern persists, disconnect the phone from the USB cable, cycle the ignition off and open the driver's door so the interior lights come on. Close the door, start the vehicle and wait for the center display screen to boot up past the start-up animation and display the home screen, then reconnect the phone using the USB cable. If the concern persists after this procedure, follow normal Workshop Manual diagnostics for a blank screen concern.
