I am extremely disappointed with Ford’s handling of my situation and the lack of customer support for what appears to be a premature major component failure. I own a 2024 Ford Mustang GT with only 56,022 miles. While driving, my air conditioning suddenly stopped blowing cold air. I took the vehicle to an authorized Ford dealership, where it was diagnosed with a catastrophic A/C compressor failure. The compressor had internally locked up, sending metal shavings throughout the A/C system. I was told the repair would require replacing the compressor, expansion valve, desiccant, belt, flushing the system, and recharging the A/C, with an estimated cost of nearly $5,000. I contacted Ford Customer Relationship Center and requested goodwill assistance because this is a 2024 vehicle and this type of catastrophic failure should not happen at only 56,000 miles. I explained that I had only owned the vehicle for approximately 7,000 miles after purchasing it used with around 49,000 miles. Unfortunately, I was simply told that there was nothing Ford could do because the vehicle was outside of the basic warranty. There was no meaningful effort to review the circumstances, no offer of partial assistance, and no indication that Ford was willing to stand behind what appears to be an unusually premature failure of a major factory component. I understand warranties have limits, but customer service should go beyond simply reading warranty terms. A compressor that fails catastrophically and contaminates the entire A/C system on a vehicle this new is not something most owners would reasonably expect. I wasn’t asking Ford to ignore its warranty—I was asking the company to stand behind its product through goodwill assistance for an unusual failure. This experience has left me questioning Ford’s commitment to customer satisfaction. When a major component fails unexpectedly on a relatively new vehicle, customers deserve more than a quick denial. I expected better from a company with Ford.

I bought a new 2024 Mustang in 11/2024 from Town & Country Ford in Port Arthur, Tx. Days after the purchase, I recieved a voicemail to return asap and was told by the owner that I would recieve a gift card if I did. I didn't understand why at the time, as it wasn't explained. Unfortunately, I was unable to return because the dealership is 4 hours drive from my residence. That was the last I heard anything. Recently, in 6/2026 I noticed that there were 2 active recalls in the Ford app. I then made an appointment with my local dealership, Tyler Ford in Tyler, Tx and the recalls were performed. The service tech at the Tyler dealership advised me then that there was no warranty start date entered in the system from when the vehicle was purchased and that he could not enter the recall information, nor could he perform any future warranty work. The week after, I noticed a crack in my passenger tailight and took it to the Tyler dealership. The same service tech (Vegas) advised that they couldn't do anything because of the warranty service date issue. Myself and Vegas have attempted multiple times over a 3 week period to have this date entered by Town & Country. Further research finds that there was a stop sale recall on the Mustang issued 10/2024 24C35 for the IPC screen that was not performed prior to its sale to me 11/2024 and now the dealership management is attempting to cover it up. I've spoken with the dealership warranty person (DeMarcus) and he has advised that management is aware and he has relayed the info several times. Nonetheless, aside from their violation of federal law and elusive cover up, I am seemingly without warranty coverage and forced to drive un unsafe vehicle because the turn signal does not operate due to penetrating water damage into the light housing. Town & Country says they will enter the date when the recalls are entered, but Tyler says they can't enter the recalls until the warranty start date is entered.

On XXX I purchased a new 2026 Ford Mustang GT from the dealership at [XXX] and [XXX] in [XXX] 40 Hrs. after the purchase I was traveling on [XXX] Headed west at about 78 MPH the speed limit was 70 MPH., when my driver side rear tire let go, I mean totally blew out. The car slammed to the ground and the rear of the car slide to the right and almost flipped with me in it. I could have very well been killed. I don't know why this happened, but I clearly believe this to be a serious safety issue that needs to be dealt with by the dealership and Ford Motor corporation, next time someone may be killed. I have the tire and pictures of the tire if anyone needs them. I have contacted the dealership and has been speaking to executive Manager [XXX]. When I asked him about inspections and tire pressures before the car was delivered to me, he cut off all communications. I wrote them an official and signed statement by me concerning the incident. - #11745538June 22, 2026FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
My vehicle, VIN [XXX], is subject to NHTSA Recall 25V455 (Ford Recall 25S75) involving a defective low-pressure fuel pump that may cause engine hesitation, loss of power, or engine stalling. This recall was announced in July 2025 and remains open on the NHTSA VIN lookup as of June 2026. More than eleven months have passed since the recall was announced, and Ford has not provided a repair remedy for my vehicle. I believe this is an unreasonable delay for a safety-related defect. In addition, the recall previously appeared in the FordPass application associated with my vehicle but no longer appears there, even though both the NHTSA and Ford recall website VIN lookup continues to show the recall as open. This discrepancy creates confusion regarding the status of the recall and whether Ford is actively notifying affected owners. I am concerned that my vehicle remains subject to a known safety defect without an available repair and request that NHTSA review Ford’s handling of Recall 25V455, the prolonged delay in providing a remedy, and the inconsistency between Ford’s customer-facing systems and the NHTSA recall database. - #11744855June 17, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Ford describes their pre-collision system: The system warns the driver of potential hazards by providing three levels of assistance. Alert: When active, a flashing visual warning appears and an audible warning tone sounds. Brake Support: The system helps reduce the impact speed by preparing the brakes for rapid braking, and Emergency Braking. I have driven my vehicle around Jacksonville with the setting at High to give me three car lengths warning. After hours of driving on I95 and I10 in Jacksonville, with cars cutting in front of my at less than three car lengths, I only received one warning with a car that pulled in front of me less than 3 feet. I took it to the dealer who said that it works as intended. Ford backs them up. This means the system is useless as a Safety system.

9 days after I purchased this 2026 Mustang GT brand new. The first rain storm. After activating the wipers. Said wipers broke and went flying airborne over the vehicle into traffic. At which point I couldn’t see as it was raining heavy. This resulted in a near head on collision with oncoming traffic and the wiper arm damaged the windshield. Obviously Ford installed defective/faulty parts/wipers on the vehicle at the factory. Parts which Fords has claimed they are not responsible or liable for installing damaged. And which Ford refused to warranty. Or accept any responsibility for.

Steering u-joint sticks and prevents steering wheel from turning without a catch/hitch . Not evident at lower speeds but is prevalent at speeds 50 and above. The photos attached show the part and one picture shows a YouTube video showing the EXACT problem. The video title is shown in picture: Dangerous Steering Problem And it is very scary at the higher speeds when it sticks and you have to exert force to move it to right or left. Trying to stay in a lane is a problem!! Electronic steering was checked by dealer last year and they found nothing as they probably didn’t test drive it at the higher speeds; has continued till today and after a road trip yesterday I went online and found this information!
