The contact stated that the failure mostly occurred after it had rained. The contact related the failure to the Manufacturer's Communication Number: 10211091. The dealer was notified of the failure and provided a cost for the diagnostic test and repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 62,188.

The contact owns a 2025 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH, the brakes started to squeak. There were no warning lights illuminated. The brake pad life percentage was going down daily. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the front and rear brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000.

The contact stated that the failure persisted, and a dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the technician was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The contact stated that a software update was performed and an undisclosed part in the infotainment system was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure several times but offered no assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 13,500.

Power Liftgate was functioning erratically and now it won't open at all. Currently there is no way to manually open the liftgate or access the rear of the vehicle without climbing through the vehicle to get to the trunk area. Electrical switches on inside, exterior of vehicle nor the keyfob will open the liftgate. Previously the liftgate opened on its own at unintended times and now it has simply quit working. Safety issue was when it was opening while driving. It is not currently doing this since it won't work anymore. Complete Failure happened around 54K miles.

The car stalled and is stuck in park. It has electronic shift and if the engine doesn't run it has to be put into neutral manually. The Buick dealerships don't know how to do this and keep referring me to an obsolete video. One service representative suggested the manual lever is under the air filter housing but they cannot provide any information on this design, The car is stuck in a garage and cannot be towed. It is stuck in place.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The infotainment system locks up. Its like all features are on mute. I can't use phone, radio, contact onstarr or use navigation system I have a heart condition, when this freezes I have no way to reach help. The dealership has tried multiple fixes, they say they are just seller, GM is the manufacturer. GM no longer takes my calls. They have blocked all my numbers. There is no warning, it just stops working GM suggests I turn off vehicle, get out wait 20 minutes and the system should reset, I have tried to disconnect my phone from bluetooth and they seek each other out and reconnect. I live very rural, 20+ miles to anywhere. I have no way to get help

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Catalytic converter was defective in October 2022. Had to wait to get part in. Vehicle taken to dealer for repair in December 2022/ Told that the second catalytic converter needed to be repaired. I stated that I was not aware that cars had two catalytic converters. Parts were ordered and replaced. Engine light came back on-again October 15, 2024. Portable CO detector in car was beeping when engine around time engine light came on. Not covered by warranty or insurance. A new car with 55, 000 miles to date should not have these issues.

The contact owns a 2025 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the display screen intermittently malfunctioned and only a black image was displayed. During the failure, several safety features were unavailable to the driver. The speedometer, fuel gauge, TPMS, and the backup camera were unavailable. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who reprogrammed the display unit, but the failure reoccurred intermittently. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 800.

STEERING
I own a 2024 Buick Enclave Avenir the steering wheel has a Whining Noise when vehicle is in motion or standing when turning the steering wheel. The Air Bag is in the steering wheel I am concerned if there is a problem with the steering wheel if the Air Bag could eject from the steering wheel causing an accident when vehicle is in motion. Took it to my dealership following is an E-mail sent to me. Even though it's built in late 2023 it's a 2024. So that bulletin doesn't pertain to your vehicle, but I will ask today if there is a 2024 Buick Enclave Avenir on the lot and I'll try to see but if there's no 2024, I have to wait to see what GM says because that bulletin doesn't work for your newer vehicle. Also, the 2023 Buick Enclave is different when it comes to the steering. For example, a 2023 Buick enclave has a bulletin #PIT5987: Whining Noise from Steering - (Feb 17, 2023) that is a whining noise from the steering but that only pertains to a 2022-2023. Thats what service manager acquired about if the 2024 would follow that same bulletin ---Date of manufacture of my Buick was December 2023.

LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Multiple times I have been driving along at interstate speed when the mirrors retracted in to the windows of their own volition without the pressing of the button. I contacted Nimnicht GMC and scheduled a service for [XXX] of 2024 at their Phillips Highway location in Jacksonville, FL for them to correct the issue. They stated they were unable to duplicate but did flash the computer with an update shown in TSB The vehicle was kept from the [XXX] until the [XXX]. I picked up the vehicle on the [XXX] from their lot and drove it home. On the [XXX] while driving it to work, I again had issues with the mirrors closing on their own 5 times in the matter of 17 miles more or less, including at interstate speed on the Buckman Bridge. Again, after keeping my vehicle multiple days, they were "unable to recreate the issue." I received the vehicle back on [XXX] of May. Today, May [XXX], I again had the mirrors close and trained a camera at the mirrors while driving down the interstate and captured them closing on their own without any interaction with a person. On [XXX], 2024, a pickup truck ran a red light at 55+ miles per hour and struck the front left quarter panel of our 2023 Buick Enclave as we were pulling into an intersection. Our car was totaled with the entire front end of the car being severely damaged. The front end of the car, both quarter panels, bumper and engine compartment were crushed. - NO airbags deployed. - Both my wife and I were injured. She has a fractured vertebrae and right knee and leg hurt. I have a broken left clavicle, five broken ribs and a hematoma on my left leg. No airbag warning or alerts on dashboard. - I reported the accident to General Motors but no one yet assigned - GM case #: [XXX]. - No complete police report has been provided yet. POWER TRAIN, ENGINE
DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AT APPROX. 70 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE MADE A LURCH FORWARD MOTION. THE VEHICLE LOST POWER.WE WERE NEAR A EXIT RAMP AND COAST TO THE INTERSECTION. VEHICLE WOULD START BUT WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. WE COULD NOT MOVE THE VEHICLE. IT WOULD NOT EVEN GO INTO NEUTRAL TO PUSH THE VEHICLE TO SAFETY. THE POLICE WERE CALLED TO DIRECT TRAFFIC, WHILE WAITING FOR A TOW TRUCK. WE ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIME SO WE COULD IT IN NEUTRAL DURING THE NEXT 45 MINUTES . THE POLICE HAD TO LEAVE AND MADE A FINAL TRY TO PUT THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL AFTER RESTARTING, IT WENT INTO NEUTRAL . THE VEHICLE WAS PUSHED TO THE SHOULDER AND THE POLICE PUT FLARES OUT TO ADVISE OF A DISABLED VEHICLE, AND LEFT THE SCENE. AFTER ABOUT 2HOURS AND 50 MINUTES THE TOW TRUCK ARRIVED. THE TRUCK OPERATOR GOT INTO THE VEHICLE, STARTED THE VEHICLE AND PUT IT INTO DRIVE AND DROVE IT ONTO THE FLAT BED TOW TRUCK. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED. WE BOUGHT THE BUICK NEW, 2024, WITH 3 MILES ON IT. WHEN THIS OCCURRED IT HAD 1814 MILES ON IT MARCH 13TH 2024. OUR PHONE APP FOR MY BUICK STATES THAT DIAGNOSTICS RESULTS SHOWS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM TO SERVICE NOW. TODAY IS APRIL 6 2024. VEHICLE STILL NOT REPAIRED. CAUSE OF PROBLEM A SENSOR OR TRANSMISSION OVER HEATED AND LOCKED UP THE TRANSMISSION. ONCE IT COOLED IT COULD BE MOVED. BUICK CUSTOMER CARE WERE NOTIFIED CASE # AVAILABLE

Due to an inability of the Buick auto manufacturers to provide parts to my 2022 Enclave, after becoming disabled to drive in auto accident..since November 27th, enduring a 3 month wait with rental car fees, and emotional stress strickly because unable to obtain parts! How does a company sell a car without the ability to pro ide ANY customer service in a timely manner.. I've made 4 car payments with no car..I purchased a Buick with the expectation of quality service..

The rear switch on our tailgate has failed and it allows the tailgate to open/close randomly on its own while the vehicle is locked even. I contacted Buick about the problem and they said didn’t care, but this can happen while the vehicle is moving down the road as well as when parked. It’s not necessarily a typical safety issue that are normally recalled for, but it does pose significant safety issues if you want your car to be locked and you come back from the store and it’s not and people are free to break it or if it were to happen while moving. We had this happen on our car at around 38,000 miles. From reading other Buick forums to try and figure out what the cause is, it sounds like it’s a somewhat common occurrence. It’s alarming that it can open while the vehicle is locked.

A known defect that was previously addressed in a previous recall on the 2019 model year is still occurring on 2022 Buick Enclaves with no repair offered by GM. The defect causes a large hole to form in the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the muffler which could leak Carbon Monoxide into the passenger compartment and cause decreased engine performance. In the attached pictures the defect hole noted in the recall exactly matches the hole in the 2 pictures of the underside of my car in the exact same spot is the previous recall identified. It’s obvious that GM is still producing defective components and parts and placing them on their vehicles after a recall had caused repairs to previous model years.
