If this resolves the issue, no further action is needed for this symptom. If not, the radio should be replaced.
2. Steering Transfer Motor / Wiring Pinch (DTC C140A-11): If the steering transfer motor sets DTC C140A-11 or the wiring harness is incorrectly routed with a pinch (as shown in Figures 1 and 2 of the TSB), inspect the wiring harness routing. If pinched, replace the steering transfer motor and reroute the wiring harness.

Inspect the harness routing for fouling with a stud (Figure 6). If fouling is found, wrap the wires with Tesa tape and reroute the harness, or replace the wiring harness if necessary. Finally, clear all DTCs.
