SummaryTT: During previous air conditioning service, leakage prevention agent (A/C stop leak) may have been added to the A/C system. Adding stop leak products to the A/C system is not a recommended or approved Toyota repair process. During A/C service, moisture enters the A/C system, and can react with the previously added A/C stop leak, forming a gelatinous substance. The gel substance that forms can cause the A/C compressor to bind and or seize.

SummaryTSB: Some North American produced RAV4, Highlander, Highlander HV, and Sienna vehicles equipped with manual front seats may exhibit an inoperative forward/rearward adjustment function. Upon closer inspection it may be noticed that the Seat Track Adjusting Handle has become disengaged from the locking levers. APPLICABLE WARRANTY: This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date. Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

SummaryTSB: Some 2016 model year RAV4 vehicles equipped with 2AR-FE engines may exhibit a rocking (back and forward) motion while utilizing the vehicle?s cruise control between 55 ? 75 MPH, while driving on a flat and straight freeway/highway. The Engine Control Module/ECM (SAE Term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) logic has been modified to reduce the possibility of this condition occurring. Some vehicles in particular geographic areas may exhibit a condition where the HVAC Evaporator Drain Hose has become obstructed with an insect nest. An insect repellent drain hose tip (ARINIX® Tip) is now available to help minimize future occurrences of this environmental condition. For some models, a new drain hose is required to properly fit the ARINIX® Tip. Follow the procedures in this bulletin for proper handling and installation of this optional service part.

SummaryTSB: REVISION NOTICE March 07, 2017 Rev1: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2017 model year Toyota vehicles. On some vehicles, when Rapgard? is removed the paint may have a stained appearance. These stains appear to be under the clear coat (repainting this area is NOT necessary). The stain patterns are usually under wrinkles in the Rapgard?. These wrinkles sometimes trap water and cause the paint to stain from the trapped moisture, especially on horizontal surfaces, such as the hood, roof, and trunk. Stains can be removed by heating the stained surface to remove the trapped moisture.

Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharges and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer's responsibility to maintain the specific State-Of-Charge (SOC) of the vehicle's battery while in stock and assure proper SOC at delivery.
