The ABS light and traction control light comes on intermittently, from my understanding this controls the stopping power of the truck. I have no traction control when I am pulling my camper. The lights will go off and then come back on own their own, even when the truck is sitting still with nothing hooked to it.

Intermittent flashing and dinging for ABS system. Message in dash says “Service Antilock Brake System”. Has been diagnosed and confirmed by credited service shop. The problem occurred around 80 thousand miles, a year or so ago.

In 2020 my abs traction control warning light came on took truck to dealership. They replaced ABS motor. 1 1/2 year later the warning lights started to flash on which progressed into always on by April 2023. I had the truck at dealership for another recall and they tested and system. Dealership stated they would repair under warranty. I have been waiting 10 months for repair and they state they cannot order the part yet 3/2/2024 since they can only order so many per month and there is a long list in front of me. I have noticed a loss of braking power. And I am not able to use cruise control either

67A recall was not performed on my vehicle nor was I notified of it. I have had SCR catalyst issues and def issues and my vehicles constantly fails emissions. Ram and Cummins have stated that my vehicle is not included in the recall but I am having the same issues as the 67A recall.

My ABS and Traction control lights will come on and off, making my cruise control stop working without warning. sometimes it stays on and sometimes it goes off. it is completely random. I'm seeing lots of reviews saying this is happening to others and its the HCU module and the abs control. please help get this fixed

the abs brake warning light and the traction control light goes on and off constantly. a "warning beep also goes on. this has been going on for over a year. we have been told it is under "engineering review". we have been trying to get a fix but keep being told part is on backorder. have called ND texted Ram multiple times and they refuse to do anything. This is a break problem-not an insignificant safety problem. is therr anything you can do about this?

The contact owns a 2015 Ram 3500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V821000 (Power Train). The contact had experienced the failure and paid for the repair before receiving the recall notification. The contact stated he received the notification in January 2024 and took the vehicle, the notification, and the receipt for the repair to the dealer to be reimbursed. The contact stated the manufacturer was made aware of the issue however, the contact was not reimbursed for the repair. The failure mileage was unknown.

Transmission will not go in to Park when stopped, Truck will roll away if parked on grade. Dealer reports no recall on this Transmission. Has not been inspected by anyone at this time. No warning lights ,before or after problem started. Problem start about 6 month ago, at about 18,000 miles

Potential Grid Heater defect that can cause major engine failure and/or fire. The bolt connecting the Heater Grid to the intake plenum can heat up and break off, fall into the intake, and get pulled into a cylinder causing major damage.

DEF fluid froze leaving crystals that obstructed computer reading of DEF tank. This would have forced vehicle into emergency 5 mile an hour limp mode. Taken to local Dodge/Ram dealer that had nearly THIRTY other diesel trucks with same problem ahead of me. Once repaired to OEM specs, the service manager stated it will happen again. Dodge/Ram acknowledges this has been an issue for years. In Alaska winters this situation could very well be life threatening!!

The contact owns a 2019 RAM 3500 Big Horn. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V880000 (Fuel System, Diesel) however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair as the recall notice was received over a year ago. The dealer was contacted stated they was waiting for parts. The manufacturer was contacted several times and were unable to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms recall incomplete.

There is an ongoing issue on the 2018 model RAM 3500 trucks, with their braking system. This is the 4th time that my ABS brakes have failed. There should have been a recall a long time ago. This last time the ABS failed, I brought the truck to the Garber Dealership in Greencove Springs, FL 31 July 2024. They didn't have the part and stated that it wouldn't be available until Feb 2024. They received the part (Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)) and I brought my truck in to have the repair conducted 13 Feb 2024. The dealership called me later that day and told me that they ran into an issue that the HCU was not communicating with the ABS Module and the technician was unable to bleed the brakes. She said that they needed to order the ABS Module. After not hearing any status following that, I called back the late afternoon of 15 Feb 2024 and was told that the part wouldn't be available until June. Prior to bringing in the truck, I had brakes, just not ABS which also cancels out cruise control and trailer brakes. Now it has NO brakes and it sits on their lot until June. I bought the truck new from this dealership and the following is the history of every time the HCU and ABS Module was replaced: 1st time, 12 Sep 2029, 5,374 miles; 2nd time, 11 Mar 2021, 13,136 miles; 3rd time, 19 Aug 2022, 20,607 miles; 4th and current time, 31 July 2023, 29,769 miles. If this is the not the correct agency to help with this issue, please let me know who to contact. Thank You.

The truck's ABS system becomes disabled after the ABS light intermittently comes on. Ram dealer diagnosis is a faulty abs pump and module. The parts are not available to fix the vehicle. ETA is June 30, 2024.
