The vehicle components like the AC , front windows, The touch screen monitor, and the radio won’t turn on . Shows a lettering “ 115V Cargo power outlet on “ on the . A non-functional A/C can dangerously affect a driver's physical and mental state, while a broken backup camera increases the risk of backover accidents due to a lack of visibility. Both issues compromise driving safety by impairing a driver's awareness and ability to operate the vehicle. Problem has been confirmed by dealer . No vehicle hasn’t been inspected. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
My 2025 ram 1500 Tradesman pick up with only 600 miles would not start. I called roadside and had the vehicle towed to Wallace Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram dealership in Stuart Florida. Two days later, they called and said the issue was with possibly the starter or the E torque mechanism. Collin from Wallace service calls later to say the truck was ready. I didn’t drive very far for the truck to turn off and put itself in Park. The truck goes back to Wallace. Collin calls the next day to say the truck had a low hybrid battery voltage. At this point I don’t trust the safety of this vehicle.

The cabin pressurization system lets dirt flow through the cabin when the vehicle is on dirt roads. My previous vehicle did the same thing, same make and model just different year, 1500 2022 Big Horn. The dirt coming in is enough I have to roll the windows down to flush it out, but it still comes in. I haven't had it looked at on this one yet, but my dealer is very aware of the issue. I believe this to be a breathing health hazard and it needs to be addressed.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Purchased a 2025 RAM 1500 TUNGSTEN on [XXX]. Within a week of purchase, the blind spot monitors, forward collision monitors, and the emergency braking all quick working. The first attempt to fix was replacing wiring. This stopped it for a week before they were back on. Goes back into shop and replace and fully charge batteries and again it lasted about a week. Two more trips to shop (3rd and 4th visits) for same issues with more "quick fixes". Fifth attempt to fix took a couple weeks and had a module replaced. which lasted for about 3 weeks. After a trip to Florida in April it had to go in to shop again for the same issues. This time is spent 7 weeks in the shop, replaced multiple modules and other trial and error pieces before it was "fixed" again. Got vehicle back in June and it ran good until last week(end of August). Now every light on my dash is on. None of the safety features are working(airbags, emergency braking, front/rear monitors, traction control, 4x4 system, air ride suspension, etc...). Even the power steering has gone out this time. So now it is back in the shop for the 8th total time in 9 months of ownership. This will be the 4th or 5th star case thats been opened on it and I have completely lost faith in the vehicles ability to be fixed and even more so lost on the ability for RAM(Stellantis and Customer Care) to be able to fix it at all. For my truck a 2015 Ram 1500 there is a known issue where the ABS module fails and won't allow the driver to use ABS. It's ubiquitous and Chrysler isn't manufacturing or supplying the ABS module anymore. I was told by the Dealer that I should "just buy a new truck" if I want anti-lock breaks. I have children, this is unacceptable. I'm on a wait list for the part now for over 2 years and I'm told that I may or may not actually ever get the part indicating, again, that I should buy a new one for safe braking. Apparently I am one of 100's of people on a list and Ram just recalled 1.5 million trucks with the same issue but not my year range of truck.... Part no: 68228991ad

I own a 2016 RAM 1500 Tradesman (VIN: [XXX] ). My vehicle requires a replacement for the ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) module. This is a critical safety component directly tied to braking and safe vehicle operation. The problem is that Stellantis (RAM) is not producing or supplying new replacement ABS modules, and my dealer has informed me that there are currently over 390 modules on backorder nationwide with no estimated date of availability. This situation effectively makes my truck unsafe and unrepairable. I am being forced into an impossible position: either continue driving without a functioning ABS (a major safety risk), park the truck indefinitely, or purchase another vehicle. I believe Stellantis should be required to provide a remedy by manufacturing replacement ABS modules or providing a safe alternative repair. Leaving hundreds of vehicles without access to a functioning ABS system is unacceptable from both a safety and consumer-protection standpoint. The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the ABS warning light illuminated, causing the cruise control mode and the 4WD system to become inoperable. Additionally, the traction control, the brakes, and the check engine warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that while driving and braking or accelerating on a wet road surface, the vehicle was sliding. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that an electronic brake control system part needed to be replaced, but the part had been discontinued. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving and turning, the electric power steering was inoperable intermittently, but the vehicle experienced excessive unintended steering efforts while turning the wheel back to center after making a turn. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.

SERVICE BRAKES
The ABS module has failed on my 2016 RAM 1500, which has disabled the ABS and the traction control system. This is a serious safety hazard because the vehicle now has no anti-lock braking or stability control, creating dangerous conditions in wet or emergency braking situations. •Component/System Failed: The ABS control module has malfunctioned. The part is still installed on my truck because I need it in place to drive the vehicle to work, but it can be made available for inspection if required. •Safety Risk: The failure disables both ABS and traction control, greatly increasing the risk of loss of control and extended stopping distances in wet, slippery, or emergency conditions. This creates a direct safety risk to both myself and others on the road. •Dealer Confirmation: I contacted 4 Ram dealer who confirmed that no replacement parts have taken as long as 6 months to obtain and that they do not know when or if or when additional parts will become available. The fault has been verified with an ABS diagnostic fault code and I have confirmed this is a common failure as almost 500 parts are awaiting delivery in the US. The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives, but the failure is documented. •Warning Lights/Symptoms: The ABS warning lamp, traction control light, and brake system light are all illuminated on the dashboard. These first appeared at the time of the failure and remain constantly lit. The OEM (Stellantis/FCA) is not offering a new replacement ABS module. Multiple rebuild companies have told me they cannot repair this unit because the required electronic parts are unavailable. This situation leaves owners without a safe or affordable path to restore critical safety systems. Despite being a known issue, there is no recall or service campaign from the manufacturer. NHTSA should investigate these ABS module failures on Ram

I was driving long distance down an interstate and my electric power steering locked up. I wasn't able to steer. Got a tow to nearest gas station. After sitting for about 30 minutes a started the truck back up and the steering work surprisingly.

The power steering rack failed on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 with only 36,000 miles. It is at the shop right now, waiting for the new power steering rack to come in. The power steering completely failed, as I was driving home from an appointment...making the truck extremely difficult to steer. The failure was diagnosed and confirmed by a service center (Golden Auto)They stated the entire power steering rack must be replaced at a cost of approximately $4,100. The vehicle has been inspected by an independent service center. The manufacturer has not yet inspected it. The warning light came on AFTER the power steering failed. There was absolutely no warning/symptoms of any kind before it happened.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL, BACK OVER PREVENTION
The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle and shifting into reverse(R), the rear-view camera failed to display an image. Additionally, the contact stated that the instrument cluster failed to display pertinent information. The contact stated that occasionally, only the A/C and heating controls and a section of the GPS map were displayed. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the dealer requested that the vehicle be left for three days for additional diagnostic tests. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.

About a week ago I was headed to work and I noticed that the steering was HARD (no grinding or otherwise noticeable noises), like trying to lift bricks every time you make a slight turn. Obviously a pwoer steering issue (I think!)... After a few minutes though it went back to normal. After three days it came back. Today its 95 degrees outside, circuit board inside the eps couldn't take the heat so it completely stopped working

Borrowing this truck from my father. I turned the key off a week ago when everything was working fine. When I went to start it today it gave me a power steering failure warning and the steering wheel was impossible to turn. From what I understand, this is a common problem with this year model and line of Rams. I am glad this happened while I was parked. Otherwise it could have been disastrous for me. As it is. I am looking at a very expensive repair on a loader vehicle.

the connecter under Power Distribution Center has melted and has made it so that the blower motor turns on and off at random. This is going to cause a fire if not fix. There is alot of other people online saying they have the same issue and even showing photos of the connecter. if needed i will send a photo of my connecter.
