SummaryRear Combination Lamp Voluntary Service Campaign Campaign Summary: Nissan has reclassified and expanded the previously announced quality action (PC746) for new vehicle inventory as a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace both rear combination lamps on 5,748 specific 2020 Titan (A61) vehicles identified in Service Comm. The tail light function of the Rear Combination Lamp on Light-emitting diode (LED) equipped vehicles may not illuminate under certain conditions during vehicle start-up. If lamp voltage drops below 6.4v temporarily (during engine start-up), the tail lamps cut out. If this condition occurs, lamp function will resume normal operation if the lamp switch is turned off and then back on. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC796. 2.Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. â¢New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information 3.Dealers should use NTB21-016 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4.Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC796 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

Summary2012-2015 TITAN; HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LAMP SERVICE PART SERVICE INFORMATION The mounting stud diameter for the high-mounted stop lamp service part has changed from 5 mm to 6 mm. If, for any reason, the high-mounted stop lamp needs to be replaced, the mounting hole will need to be enlarged to 6.5 mm (¼ inch) as follows: 1. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp. ï· For high-mounted stop lamp removal, refer to the Electronic Service Manual: Section DRIVER CONTROLS > EXL â Exterior Lighting System > HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LAMP > Removal and Installation > HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LAMP. 2. Enlarge the high-mounted stop lampâs mounting holes (see Figure 1 on page 2) using a 6.5 mm (¼ inch) drill bit. To avoid damage to the vehicle, apply light pressure to the drill while drilling. Excessive force may cause the drill bit to penetrate too far and damage the headliner. 3. Apply touch-up paint to the mounting holes to protect the bare metal. 4. Install the new high-mounted stop lamp using M6 mounting nuts. Refer to the PARTS INFORMATION on page 2.

Summary2020-2021 TITAN AND TITAN XD; FALSE MAINTENANCE ALERT NOTIFICATION HINT: The APPLIED VEHICLES are equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). With an active NissanConnect Services⢠subscription, the TCU communicates with the Nissan Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. To determine if a vehicle is equipped with a TCU, look for the SOS button near the overhead map lamp. IF YOU CONFIRM The customer receives a Maintenance Alert from NissanConnect Services notifying them that the oil pressure warning light is on or that the service engine warning light is on, AND there are no warning lights ON in the instrument panel, AND there are no related DTCs stored. ACTION Update the TCU to the latest software version.
