Summary
Radiator If vehicle comes in for transmission fluid leaking from trans-oil cooler fittings on the radiator, please perform the following before replacing the radiator/cooler:~ 1. Remove both of the transmission lines from the cooler?s top/bottom flared fittings on the radiator. ~ 2. Remove hex nut and the top flared fitting on the radiator tank.~ 3. Using a wire brush and gasket remover, clean off the old sealant on the smaller threaded portion of the flared fitting. Do the same for the threads on the trans oil cooler.~ 4. Apply a new application of Mopar PN 04318032 to the flared fitting, leaving the first threads free for ease of engagement.~ 5. Install the top flared fitting by hand, then torque the fitting to 235 +/- 15 Lb-In.~ 6. Install the hex nut and torque to 100 +/- 10 Lb-In.~ 7. Repeat steps 2-6 for bottom flared fitting.~ 8. Reinstall transmission line per normal installation procedures and ensure correct fluid level.~

Integrated Center Stack If vehicle is found within 50 mile radius of the Detroit Metro area please hold vehicle and contact:~ Contact one of the following:~ Daniel Acciacca CELL (586) 709-1537~ Bruce Cartwright CELL (586) 306-8899~ Ayed Hadaad CELL (248) 941-8707~ Patrick Walster CELL (248) 890-3561~ Issue 1:~ 2016 WK - Auto Stop/Start complaints affecting Integrated Center Stacks (ICS)~ Chrysler engineering is requesting to review in-person a 2016 WK before it is disturbed with the above-mentioned complaint (anywhere in SouthEast Michigan).~ The issue in question is Auto Stop/Start disable ? PCM - Switch Correlation Fault Code B23C3~ We need the vehicle to remain undisturbed so that the team can perform progressive disassembly and determine if there is an impact of the ICS to I/P mounting on this issue.~ Issue 2:~ On a 2016MY WK (Grand Cherokee) and WD (Durango), the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) may experience a lock-up condition (complete loss of functionality) during any vehicle diagnostic session (reading fault codes, clearing fault codes, reflashing of any module, etc.). If this occurs, do not replace the ICS. The module functionality can be restored if it is reset by disconnecting power to it (by removing fuse, battery disconnect or module connector disconnect).~

3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel - Sales Code EXF A crankshaft locking tool marked 630 is installed on all 3.0L EXF long blocks (Lower rear left side of block under starter location). This tool locks the crankshaft at 30? ATDC. Refer to: Valve Timing ? Standard Procedure ? LOCKING ENGINE 30 DEGREE AFTER TDC IN TechCONNECT for further details. This tool must be removed after the the injection pump has been installed on the engine. The tool will be replaced with the engine block plug from the engine being removed. The engine will not turn over with this tool installed.~

TPM Sensor 2016 WK/WD vehicles only - Engineering is investigating a Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) issue for TPM lamp ON and Active diagnostic trouble codes C1501-31, C1502-31, C1503-31, C1504-31. 2015 & 2016 TPM Sensors ARE NOT interchangeable.~ As part of normal diagnostics tool # 9936 TPM-RKE Analyzer can be used to wirelessly retrieve TPM sensor data and aid you in diagnosing. The tool filters data by year and body style. Be sure to update the tool to Software Version 16.01 and check for updates periodically. Vehicles and new TPM info is added several times a year. Updates are available through TechCONNECT home page; Service Tools & Equipment; Tire Pressure Monitor Tool; Software Downloads. Prior to replacing any components on MY16 WK/WD vehicles, please contact Raja Charabuddi on cell (248) 202-7313 or Brian Malski on cell (248) 892-1514. If no response within 15 minutes, proceed with repair.

This tool locks the crankshaft at 30? ATDC. Refer to: Valve Timing ? Standard Procedure ? LOCKING ENGINE 30 DEGREE AFTER TDC IN TechCONNECT for further details. This tool must be removed after the the injection pump has been installed on the engine. The tool will be replaced with the engine block plug from the engine being removed. The engine will not turn over with this tool installed.~
