I have been having problems with many dashboard lights coming on at once. I got it checked out and I got ABS code 123 - 11 and code 81 - 20. This has been going on since the beginning of August 2025. This could lead to dangerous malfunctions, And is one of the most expensive things to repair. It is my understanding that many many vehicles between 2013 and 2017 in the Honda range I've been experiencing this to the point of where we need a recall.

I have a 2018 Honda Accord EX with 104,000 miles. Head gasket blew and coolant is leaking. Upon further research this is a common problem that is now being discovered once the car drives past 60,000 miles. There is an internal memo asking dealers to let them know if they are seeing this too online. Honda has several class action law suits regarding this being a design flaw of the 2018 with the 1.5 liter engine. I spoke with Honda and they offered no assitance, stating out of warranty and no recall. This is their design issue and in my opinion responsible for repairing this. Otherwise out of pocket its a 5k plus repair.

- #11684187August 31, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
I was driving on a four-lane highway using adaptive cruise control, gaining on a vehicle ahead. When the cruise control picked up the vehicle, I accelerated slightly, used left turn signal and began changing lanes, the warning for collision mitigation came on and the cruise control disengaged. Continued driving home and the warning continued, and cruise control would not function. Next time used the car the warning light was off, and system functioned properly.

Blend door actuator is making a loud clicking noise which indicates the blend door actuator is either broken or going out. This problem will cause the heat and air to not function correctly. This seems to be an issue on several makes and models of Hondas 2019-2021(possibly other years). My Honda has 46,000 miles on and always had scheduled maintenance completed.

I left work on an unusually hot day, and several minutes into my trip, a deafening static noise began emanating from the dashboard area. I was frantically hitting all the radio and air buttons while driving, but I could not stop the noise, so I pulled over on the side of the road. The noise stopped after I turned off the car. I inspected the battery connections and the grounding cable, but found no obvious culprit. The noise resumed when I began driving again, but did not happen the next morning. The deafening static was unpredictable and unresolvable over the next few weeks, and it was so loud at times that my noise canceling headphones did not prevent pain in my ears. It happened on intermittent occasions, in all instances while I was driving on busy roads or interstates, and several times leaving me and my child stranded in unsafe conditions while waiting on help. I finally discovered through forum chats and online videos that this is a common occurrence with my specific car; that the source of the problem is a known faulty amp that overheats and causes interference; and importantly, that the problem occurs only when the outside temperature is excessively hot. Due to the specific conditions required to trigger the interference, the static noise is impossible to replicate on command, rendering troubleshooting efforts prohibitively costly and unlikely to bear fruit. For reference, there are videos of the problem online with search terms "Honda Accord static noise".

The contact owns a 2010 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle jerked, and failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact replaced the spark plugs and became aware that the parts were covered in oil. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while restarting the vehicle there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired after the most recent failure. The contact used a scanner and retrieved a code for a misfire in the engine. The contact replaced the spark plugs after each issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

- #11683844August 29, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Although my VIN currently shows no open recalls (because the fuel pump recall was previously marked completed), the replacement part failed while driving in traffic, leaving me stranded. This vehicle previously had the low-pressure fuel pump replaced under the Honda recall campaign. On [XXX], the replacement fuel pump failed again while driving in rush hour traffic in North Dallas, causing the vehicle to stall in a live lane and creating a major safety hazard. I attempted dozens of restarts without success. The vehicle was towed to Coit Auto Center ($80), where they performed a diagnostic test confirming low-pressure fuel pump failure codes — the same component that was recalled. On August 16, 2025, the vehicle was then towed ($223) to John Eagle Honda in Dallas (the original selling dealer and recall repairer). Honda and the dealership stated the repeat failure was not warrantable because the recall repair had already been performed once. This is unacceptable. A recall remedy that fails is still a recall compliance issue, not a customer-pay repair. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate Honda’s handling of repeat recall failures. The vehicle requires replacement of the defective pump and coverage of labor costs, as well as a full diagnostic inspection (starter, alternator, battery, ignition, ECU, and electronics) to ensure it is safe for road use after the stall and restart attempts. my 2018 Honda Accord is having major engine problems. Earlier this year all of the lights were coming on, 7 of them at a time, and that happened for a few weeks before it started overheating. If I was driving over 50mph, it wouldn't overheat, but if I was driving slow or idling, it was overheating within minutes. I took it to the shop in June where they discovered there was NO COOLANT inside the engine. they put 1.5 gallons of coolant in there, and it fixed the problem temporarily, but 2 weeks ago, all of the lights started coming on again. I called my mechanic, and he said his friend had a 2018 Honda Accord that was doing the same thing and that we need to approach Honda and ask them to fix the problem. turns out a lot of other people on the internet are reporting the exact same problem in their 2018 Honda Accords too, and there's even a class action floating somewhere out there because coolant is leaking into the chambers. we already had a fuel injector recall replaced by Honda last year.

The Infotainment system crashes when using Apple Carplay. This is troublesome because the navigation seizes and does not give you any information to where you're going. The screen turns dark until you either restart the car or unplug and replug the phone which is DANGEROUS to do while driving the car. However when I use Apple Carplay on my wife's 2017 CR-V, same phone same car manufacturer, different model and year but there are no infortainment system crashes. Clearly this points to the software operating system running the infortainment system, on forums people reference that version is too old and crashes. Please help; driving this car as is, becomes dangerous and risky. Please apply pressure to Honda to fix this problem before someone dies. I'm the original owner of this car.

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, there was an extremely loud, piercing distortion sound coming from the speakers. The contact stated that during the failure, the driver was unable to hear oncoming emergency vehicles or horns from other motorists. The radio was unplugged to eliminate the loud noise, causing the back-over prevention camera to become inoperable. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 108,000.

The contact attempted to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher, but was unsuccessful. The local fire department arrived on scene to extinguish the fire. The source of the fire was undetermined. A police report was filed. The contact fractured the fire extinguisher emergency glass with his hand and was injured. The contact did not seek medical attention. The vehicle was towed to a local independent tow lot, where it remains for further investigation. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

There has been multiple times that when I am driving on the highway doing 60 miles an hour, the dashboard will light up to BRAKE the car when there is nothing in front of the car, no other car no trash nothing. It has done this on slower roads where the speed limit is 40 mph and under but it will actually brake the car and I have had cars behind me when this happens. This keeps happening multiply times a week.
