When adaptive cruise control is set, the vehicle thinks there is a crash ahead and applies the brakes when in reality nothing is in front of the vehicle . This causes a very dangerous situation for vehicles behind the truck when it applies emergency braking.

It's been back to Autonation dealership 3 times already, twice I had a appointment for this recall. After I get there, they tell me that they can't get the part until late this year. Went to a dealership in Texas they tell me the part is available put only to fleet and lease program trucks. My wiper are only working on the high setting. I drive a110 mile to work and back and never know when they are going to quit. The recall has been going on for 18 months. I asked them what happens if they quit completely. They just look at me and say we don't know. Can I use the Lemon Law for this

Upon entering the Ford f150 vehicle and turning it on there was loud sonic boom noise through the speakers and then ear piercing static. It could not be turned down by the radio controls. Radio was turned off but static still wouldn’t stop. Vehicle was turned off and static still was still going. I waited 15 minutes with the vehicle off and it finally quit. Truck started no problem and static gone. I have read of numerous reports about this same thing with the B&O Unleashed radio system which I have. I have suffered some hearing loss and ringing in my ears even after 2 days. If this had happened on the highway or in traffic it would probably have caused a wreck.

I have had two instances where a loud pop occurs when playing the stereo, and then an even louder static noise begins. The static noise does not stop. The first time, I took the truck to the dealership and they had to disconnect the battery. Approximately 3 months later, the same issue occurred, but now it was accompanied by a burning smell. After the first incident, the dealer repaired (not replaced) the module. But, again, the static noise returned two months later. I now have constant ringing in both ears, which may indicate permanent hearing loss.

My radio/stereo/speakers introduced an extremely loud "pop" noise, or "banging" noise. It was reminiscent to my time overseas in the military and gunfire. It was extremely startling and hurtful to all three passengers in my vehicle, including myself, my spouse, and my 2-year-old child. This is a recurring issue as of now, and many others are complaining about the same issue happening to them.

Upon doing an oil change and tire rotation at the Ford dealer I was informed that the rear axle hub bolt had sheared off and was sitting lose at the end of the axle. Upon doing research I have found that many 2021 Ford 150s have had this problem and Ford knows about the problem but has not issued a recall. I am being told that Ford recommends that the axle and bolt be replaced. My dealer has no loaners available. Also, the dealer, Harris Ford in Lynnwood, WA, tells me the parts are back ordered and have no idea when the repair can be made. This is dangerous and Ford should have issued a recall. Now I have no use of my truck and no date that the repair can be completed.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V842000 (Visibility) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact then received notification that parts were currently available. The dealer was notified, and the contact was informed that unless the windshield wipers had failed, they would not perform the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and confirmed that the recall repair would not be performed unless the windshield wipers became inoperable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

while driving, with the audio system off, suddenly I heard a loud explosion. next I heard what sounded like class breaking. I thought i was involved in an accident and slammed on my brakes. Realizing I was ok, the next thought that came to mind was that someone shot at me. The crackling sounds ( like glass breaking did not stop). i drive directly to a ford dealership. they heard and acknowledged the cracking sound. i turned off the truck and the sound CONTINUED.

Reporting this after the second time this incident has occurred. Shortly after starting the vehicle, there was an extremely loud electrical/static pop coming from the speakers, followed by extremely load static noise which went on for several seconds. The noise was so loud, that it caused ringing in ears. The noise was not related to the volume control of the speakers, as turning the dial all the way down to zero, or turning the volume off, had no effect on the noise. To stop the noise, I turned the vehicle off. This occurred while I was in a parking lot, and fortunately not driving, but would have been a dangerous and disruptive situation if it had occurred while driving. Reading into this online, it sounds like this is not an isolated occurrence, and others are experiencing an even worse version of the problem that will not stop until the battery is disconnected. Also reports this is happening in the middle of driving. I'm nervous to drive the vehicle now.

Bought truck brand new. The axle bolt sheered off at 76k miles which is a common problem which ford has issued a service bulletin for repair. Ford claims my truck is not drivable due to the manufacture defect of the bolt either being cross threaded or overtightened from the factory. Ford is insisting I pay for the mistake even though it's a manufacture defect with a service bulletin for a repair. Ford is refusing to pay for the fix due to miles. Axles, axle shafts and axle bolts should not have to be replaced before the differential fluid does in the axle at 100k miles. They are claiming the extreme premature wear is my fault. The truck is bone stock. Ford case #CAS-43720120-D7H6Y6. Worst part is Ford dealership telling me claim was denied to only find out Ford approved the claim partially. The Ford dealership was trying to double dip on profits. Dealership is wade Ford.called up akins Ford in winder and they told me they would cover it.

Loud pop and then extremely loud static coming through all speakers, pulled over turned truck off and noise continued. Unable to drive because noise was so loud. Started truck again and turned off multiple times, turned radio on and off multiple times and noise continued. With truck off doors closed and locked noise continued. After about 15 min it stopped and worked normal. I called dealer and they said they don’t have a fix and if it is currently working normal there’s nothing they can do.

After recent software updates sent out by Ford, my rear view camera display freezes and sometimes displays a distorted image. The freezing image makes it difficult to judge the distance between the vehicle and objects behind it, and it can also give the driver the impression that the road behind them is clear when it is not.

While driving, a warning light came on then the engine shut off. I was stranded in the middle of an extremely busy intersection. I could not put the windows up or in neutral to push it off the road. The hazard lights went to a very weak blinking that could not be seen. It was very dangerous to get out at the intersection. it was pouring rain and no one could see me. The truck had to be towed from the intersection to a dealer. Dealer allegedly identified the problem as a bad alternator that in turn damaged the battery.

With the cruise control set to a speed of around 60mph and with no other vehicles around, the truck accelerates (uncommanded) to some value over 71mph. This occurs randomly but is repeatable and has only started occurring within the past week. A definite safety concern.

I was driving down the highway and a loud pop followed by a very high pitched static noise came out of my speakers. I had to unhook a battery terminal to get it to stop. This is the 3rd time this has happened and the dealership won’t do anything as it’s extremely difficult to replicate.

- #11529307June 28, 2023SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC, AIR BAGS
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed and released. The contact then depressed the brake pedal; however, the brakes failed to stop the vehicle immediately, and the transmission failed to shift into neutral (N). The vehicle coasted to the side of the roadway and was able to come to a complete stop. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that they would not be able to duplicate the failure without a check engine warning light illuminated. The dealer advised the contact to drive the vehicle until the check engine warning light illuminates to diagnose the vehicle. The contact stated that the following week, the failure recurred while making a left turn into the gas station. The vehicle experienced unintended acceleration at 42 MPH, and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle immediately. The "Sudden Acceleration, Sudden Braking" message was displayed. The vehicle crashed into a gas station, injuring the cashier and a customer. One of the injured people received medical attention. The contact did not sustain any injuries, but medical attention was received. No air bags were deployed upon impact. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the police department, where a police investigator accessed the EDR. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer. The contact related the failure to a stuck throttle; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired and remained at the dealer. Greene Ford Company (2365 Browns Bridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30504) was also made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that he was driving with both feet depressing the accelerator and brake pedals at the same time, which the contact stated was incorrect. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
