When selecting the TOWING option on the dash cluster, the dash shuts off to a black screen and restarts while driving. This prevents seeing the speed and other dash information. The truck also sends warning to phone after dash shut off that power steering, ABS, seatbelt control, and airbag control is malfunctioning. Took to dealer and they were able to reproduce the issue. The replaced dash but did not fix. They escalated the issue to Ford who said they are working on it back in October. Still no fix.

The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact's wife was able to coast to the shoulder of the roadway, where the vehicle was able to restart. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. - #11569536February 2, 2024VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
With cruise control engaged, the set speed would randomly change up or down changing vehicle speed rapidly. Most dangerous part was some times the speed would set itself from around the speed limit where I set to as much as 20-30 mph above the posted speed limit up to 90 mph. The speed would instantly increase by 5,10,15,20 mph all of a sudden which is not possible to set with the cruise control buttons as they only increase or decrease in one mph increment. If it is some sort of speed limit sign reading system it failed and caused a dangerous situation for me and my family. I have video of multiple instances. This is dangerous and life threatening for the occupants of my vehicle and others on or near the road and could easily lead to loss of control, injury or death.

My truck worked fine for six months and then Ford did an update(power up) on December 14, 2023. On December 15, 2023 I took my truck to a dealership to find out why my phone, making and receiving calls, produced a static response. In order to make phone calls, I need to stop my vehicle, turn off the vehicle and open and close the door. Dealership techs had no idea why. Have talked to Ford Motors half a dozen times since then and was told Ford is aware of the problem, most likely caused by the December 14, 2023 update. Six weeks later and each time I have called I'm told that Ford is working on it. My call yesterday left me with the impression that Ford isn't all that interested in resolving the matter. Why isn't there a recall on this problem, since I'm told the static on cell phone calls through the sync 4 system is quite common.Thank you.

On [XXX] as I was going in reverse the car started to accelerate out of control, I pumped the breaks and it increased speed, I then tried to power down truck and that did not work. My vehicle ended up going in ditch backwards and I hit a mailbox and ditch. Earlier in the week when I went to go from reverse to forward it felt like it was locked and then it would engage. I do not feel this is safe and will not ride the vehicle as I think there is something wrong mechanically with the truck. Police report will be uploaded in 1-2 days. 10R80 transmission suddenly started showing symptoms of failure at 81,000 miles. Issues were slipping, jerking, and random gear selections. Safety was compromised when trying to merge (gas pedal pushed but truck didn't downshift initially, then drops to very low gear or from a dead stop would start in 10th gear and barely move), also when from a stop truck felt like it went into neutral when shifting into second almost causing rear end accidents and finally it would random leave shift into extremely low gear (1-2) when doing 20 causing a sudden breaking affect. Due to the safety concerns I did get the transmission replaced and symptoms have not returned. No warning lights appeared, AAMCO did the inspection as well as warranty company saying the transmission should be replaced.

While driving random chiming occurs intermittently. No fault recorded or seen on dash. Second issue has happened 3x since purchase, dash cluster shut down or cycled power or reset while driving. This to me is a safety issue.

I received a recall for a windshield wiper motor and took my vehicle to a dealership to have it fixed. Before I went I checked several times to ensure they had the part to perform the recall and they informed me they did. I took it in 01/19/2024 for the recall, waited two and an half hours and they never performed the recall. When I asked the dealership why they did not have an answer and said they would call me back. They have not as of 01/25/2024. I have in the mean time contacted Ford who said the recall should have been performed to take it to another dealership to have it done because it is an active recall. I just don’t understand how the dealership decided what Ford said was a recall did not need to be done and they are a ford dealership.

When it’s below freezing, I am experiencing a loud humming/rumbling noise while driving. It last for a mile or two then stop. I haven't drove the vehicle much in fear or damaging anything. There are 2 other vehicle in my area experiencing the same issue & they have the same vehicle. I've been to dealer, they werent able to duplicate the issue but informed me a sales advisor there with the same truck is also having this issue but havent found a fix as it continues to happen. There are many compliants and videos online regarding this issue. Ford need to open an inverstigation into this issue and provide a recall/remedy.

Issues with the 10 speed automatic transmission and the adaptive learning. Rough, harsh, clunky shifting at times. Which could cause excessive ware or even failure I feel. Also, at around 70 mph the truck has this rattle or shaking . Not sure what it is .

- #11567315January 23, 2024VISIBILITY/WIPER, VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD
We just purchased this truck through our business and have complained to the dealer. The dealer made a claim through Ford and Ford responded by stating they will not repair/replace the windshield. They claim that our issue with the extremely distorted view when the sun hits is caused by an outside force. This is extremely disappointing to say the least and leaves us with a bad impression/customer experience. This truck was delivered to us this way, brand new and we made the complaint right away. We have not had an incident yet, but as the sun is more apparent the probability of an accident becomes more likely. If there is anyway you can help, please advise.

While driving down the highway, my 2022 Ford F-150 Tremor randomly caught on fire. I was driving down the highway and was flagged down by other drivers to let me know the bottom of the truck was on fire. I pulled over and luckily someone had a fire extinguisher and we were able to get the fire under control. The fire department was also called and they also helped put out the fire after their arrival. The truck has always been serviced at a Ford dealer and had gone in for an oil change less than 350 miles prior to the truck catching fire.
