The steering wheel would not turn. Similar to when cars did not have power steering but much worse. Had the truck taken to the Ford Dealership. They reprogrammed the computer and said that fixed the problem . Started to leave and didn’t even get off the lot when it basically’froze up’ again. They kept the vehicle for a second time. When they called and said it was fixed, I was able to drive it but discovered to will ‘freeze up’ when trying to make a sharp turn(almost all the way to the stop), either to the right or left

Ford Motor Company has issued a safety recall, identified by letter NEF-107DG and recall number 24V-957, due to the potential failure of the CP4 fuel pump in certain vehicle models. The recall affects the following makes, models, and model years: FORD/F-250 SD (2020-2022), FORD/F-350 SD (2020-2022), FORD/F-450 SD (2020-2022), FORD/F-550 SD (2020-2022), FORD/F-600 SD (2020-2022), FORD/F-650 (2021-2022), and FORD/F-750 (2021-2022). This action addresses concerns that the CP4 pump may fail prematurely, potentially leading to engine stalling and increasing the risk of a crash. Notably, my 2021 Ford F-150 XLT with a 3.0L diesel engine is equipped with the same CP4 fuel pump as the models listed above. As such, it should logically be included in this recall to ensure consistent safety measures and address the risks associated with this known defect.

- #11634596January 7, 2025SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I was driving around 35-40mph, slowing down, heading to a right hand turn lane. No vehicles in front of me. As I crossed over my lane into the turn lane my e-brake automatically came on and my pre collision braking light came on. No warning, nothing caused by me, and I have no clue how it happened. I had to physically pull the e-brake lever to release the brakes on a major road.

Purchased vehicle on [XXX]. The vehicle was brand new and had 12 miles on it. I drove the vehicle home. My family and I went out to dinner and returned home and the vehicle remained in our garage. In the morning, I drove the vehicle to the gym. the vehicle was at that location for approximately two hours. I then drove it to my workplace. When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed some smoke from the hood. I turned off the vehicle and popped the hood. I then tried to open the hood, but realized that the vehicle was on fire. I backed away from the vehicle and called 911. The vehicle was ablaze within 1 minute of me exiting the vehicle. Firefighters responded approximately 8 minutes later and put out the fire. I do have videos of the fire happening INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The day time running light on the driver side is out and is a known problem for the 2021+ F-150’s with LED headlights that I have seen. It would be in everyones best interest if we could have this recalled and have Ford fix this issue that is not covered by warranty and without having to scavenge $2100 to replace one side of a headlight which is a safety feature for the truck.

My 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor V6, a brand-new vehicle purchased on [XXX], has accumulated 767 miles. On the evening of [XXX] in Orange County, California, while driving on the freeway at approximately 75 miles per hour, I experienced an unexpected issue. Everything appeared normal, and there were no warning lights on the instrument cluster indicating any problems with the truck. However, a few miles before exiting the freeway, I received a message through the Ford Pass App, accompanied by a warning on the instrument cluster that read, “Drivetrain malfunction, reduced power.” Despite the warning, I continued driving cautiously until I reached my home. Upon pulling into my driveway, I scanned my vehicle for error codes, which revealed the following: P0929-77 Gear Shift Lock Solenoid/Actuator Circuit "A" Range/Performance U211B-87 Control Module Message Authentication B1578-89 Digital Park Assist Camera Vision System U023A-00 Lost Communication With Image Processing Module A U0415-00 Invalid Data Received from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module "A" U102F-00 Invalid Internal Control Module Monitoring Data Received From All Wheel Drive Control Module The code that triggered the check engine light, as indicated by my vehicle’s scanning app, is P0929-77. On December 31st, I took the vehicle to Caruso Ford in Long Beach, California, for diagnosis. Unfortunately, Caruso Ford is currently unable to pinpoint the fault. The tech who examined my vehicle believes it’s an electrical issue rather than mechanical. I hope to receive an update on my vehicle by Tuesday, January 7th. I am writing to request assistance regarding the Customer Satisfaction Bulletin published by NHTSA, titled "Heated Steering Wheel Performance Upgrade 22G06": [XXX] I purchased a 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor from Ryan Ford in Sealy, TX, as a custom order with a build date of December 2022. While I originally paid for a heated steering wheel as part of the vehicle's configuration, this feature was removed during production due to supply chain issues. The omission is noted on my vehicle’s window sticker. Upon reviewing the 22G06 bulletin, I understand that certain F-150 vehicles, including those built in December 2022 at the Dearborn plant, qualify for the upgrade. Based on this information, my truck appears to meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the bulletin. I initially contacted my sales agent at Ryan Ford to arrange the upgrade but was informed that my truck is not eligible and was directed to contact Ford Customer Service. When I reached out to Ford Customer Service, I was advised to contact NHTSA, as Ford is unable to consider adding my truck to the VIN list for eligibility without NHTSA approval. This back-and-forth has left me without a clear resolution or pathway forward. Could you please clarify why my vehicle is deemed ineligible for this upgrade, despite seemingly meeting all the stated criteria? Furthermore, I would appreciate your guidance on how I can ensure my dealership completes this upgrade, considering my vehicle's apparent qualifications. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Driver door latch and lock failure at extreme cold temperatures. Failed last year could not exit vehicle at Ford dealership. Ford dealership added grease and problem did not occur again for 11 months. Same problem occurred this December. Door latch stays open and will not latch so door has to be held shut by driver while moving down the road. Problem occurred on 4 different days of single digit temperatures during the past 2 years. The ford dealership in Gaylord observed the stuck latch and door not latching. Warning light of door ajar when put into gear and constant warning beeping while driving with an unlatched door.

I was traveling 47 mph and suddenly the parking brake was activated, causing the car to brake instantly. Luckily, no one was behind me and luckily it did not cause an accident. There were no lights on the dashboard. I took it to the Ford dealer to have it inspected and they gave me an appointment for 8 days later and let me go home knowing that I could not drive it since I almost caused an accident.

The daytime running light on my headlights is an LED strip that completely lost all use. Ford is having us replace the whole headlight unit for their manufacture issue. Ford refuses a fix and says a $1700 replacement headlight unit is the only way to get it fixed. It is their headlight components for the LED daytime running light.

There has been an issue with front LED lights where they go out. It’s an electrical issue where my truck had both replaced and still in warranty this caused almost hit accidents a night. Many vehicles warned me by flashing the high beams. Also another issue is the transmission where it creates a huge jerk on the transmission causing a change in shift. Almost had an accident caused by it. No police involved and no accidents.
