Have had the truck for 11 months (since new) I have never had the issue. The display (for radio, navigation etc.) just started switching to a different screen. I was using the navigation and the screen switched to display radio information without being touched. When I switched to Google Maps from car play. The map just froze up and would not unfreeze until I turned off the truck and restarted. Had I been going somewhere and was depending on the navigation system. I could have been in a situation that could have caused an accident. Ford engineers are saying this is normal!

I heard noise coming from my truck, sounded like it was in my wheel. Feb. 4, 2026 I took it to a repair shop. They told me it was the recall on my truck and gave the nut and bolt that had broken off my truck. I called Stanley Ford where I bought the truck to get the recall fixed. They told me they had the part and would get it out the next day (Friday) because I was leaving that Sunday on a work trip. They called me on Friday and said the part they had was for another vehicle and it would be 3-4 mths before they would have the part and I couldn't drive the truck. The software was not updating (even with a battery change) and I asked them to reset since we changed the battery. They told me it would $400 plus to fix that. They have not offered a vehicle for me to drive and neither has Ford. Ford was called and everything was explained to them. I am without a vehicle, with no real estimated time on when I will get my truck back and nothing has been done. No loaner, no paying for my truck since I do not have it. I have been without a vehicle for a month and 1/2. I work a full time job. I have a statement from repair shop and pic, but it won't let me upload.

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. When the vehicle was purchased, the contact requested the Retrofit/Activate Heated Steering Wheel option. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the dealer suggested that the contact read the manual to learn how to turn on the Retrofit/Activate Heated Steering Wheel. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and the contact explained that the option was missing from the vehicle. The dealer refused to assist. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue but provided no assistance. Upon further investigation, the contact became aware of Customer Satisfaction Program: 22G06, which was associated with Ford and Lincoln vehicles with the Retrofit/Activate Heated Steering Wheel option deleted during production due to supply shortages. The contact took the vehicle back to the dealer and mentioned specifically that the vehicle needed the Customer Satisfaction Program: 22G06 "Heated Steering Wheel Performance Upgrade". The dealer refused and informed the contact that the vehicle could no longer be taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40.

- #11724574March 16, 2026ENGINE
The engine system in the 2021 Ford F-150 is malfunctioning due to excessive oil consumption, in the 5.0L Coyote V8 engine. This is leading to no oil registering on the dipstick; the vehicle and its engine remain available for inspection upon request as they are in the owner's possession and have not been disassembled or repaired. This issue puts the safety of the driver, passengers, and other road users at risk by increasing the chances of engine seizure, overheating, or sudden power loss during operation, which could result in loss of vehicle control, especially at high speeds or while towing, potentially causing accidents, breakdowns in traffic, reduced braking efficiency, or even fires from overheated components, though no such incidents have occurred yet. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by technicians at Ford Spitzer in Hartville and Valvoline in North Canton, OH, who documented the oil consumption during service visits, consistent with Ford's diagnostic procedures. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealership, which is in communication with Ford corporate for further guidance on warranty repairs, but no inspections by police, insurance representatives, or other third parties have been reported. The main symptom observed is the consistent lack of oil on the dipstick, technicians documenting the engine is as low as 2-3 quarts, indicative of rapid consumption. No warning lamps or dashboard messages have appeared yet, but they could activate if oil levels become critically low, and the exact onset timeline ties to routine maintenance after several thousand miles.

Loss of power pulling onto a major highway -- luckily I was able to pull off onto a side street but had I not I could have been rear ended. Vehicle has been at Athens Ford since January 15th -- Ford states on their recall notification that parts are readily available -- they are not. I have been waiting for 2 months to get my vehicle back and have no resolution in sight. Dealer states they have no ETA on parts availability; Ford Customer Service also does not have an update.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned? The LED Driver Module and Headlamp Control Module (HCM) software. Specifically, the C-Clamp Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) / Parking Lamps have failed to illuminate or are flickering. The vehicle is available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The failure of the parking lamps reduces the vehicle’s visibility to other drivers, especially during dusk, dawn, or inclement weather. This creates a "dark car" profile that increases the risk of a crash, as other motorists may not be able to discern the width or position of my truck on the road. This is a direct violation of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed? Yes, the malfunction is consistent and has been observed during normal operation. A Ford dealership has been contacted; however, they refused to perform a no-cost repair or diagnostic because my specific VIN has not yet been added to Recall 23C36, despite the vehicle exhibiting the exact symptoms described in that safety recall. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by others? No, it has only been inspected by myself and described to a Ford service advisor. (If you took it in and they saw it, change this to: "The dealer service advisor visually confirmed the failure but declined a warranty repair.") Were there any warning lamps or symptoms prior to failure? No warning lamps or messages appeared on the instrument cluster or FordPass app. The failure of the LED C-clamp was the first and only symptom. This occurred on 03/06/2026 when I bought the truck and did not know the C-clamp DRL was not working.

Received recall 25S82 rear axle half-shaft and hub assembly replacement in August of 2025. Dealer confirmed in September 2025, both right and left components need replaced. I was told parts are on order. I check on the recall parts each month and told various stories. For instance. 1. Only one OEM manufacturer of these recall parts 2. Only large dealerships are getting them. 3. First come first serve, yet reports on social media that some Ford owners are getting repaired in two weeks. 4. Tied to VIN number, not tied to VIN number. Whatever the situation, 6-months and counting with no assurance of parts is unacceptable. I cannot trust to take this truck outside of my local towing company’s business radius.

The 12v battery on these vehicles are severely strained or defective AGM batteries have been used since vehicle inception in 2022. Dozens of reports from owners show "system off to save battery" error codes and 12v symptoms such as inoperable multi-function displays, especially in cold weather. After replacing the OEM 12v battery, i have pictures showing the bulging the battery has suffered. Again, these errors are experienced by dozens, if not hundreds of owners and could lead to serious injury because the 12v battery operates all electronics in the vehicle.

-The hub bolt in the rear axle broke. Truck had to be towed to dealership. Problem was confirmed by dealership. There was no warning lamp and only found out due to flat tire. -In 12/2022, power train failure left vehicle "dead" in the middle of the highway with family of four stranded 400 miles away from home.

- #11723945March 12, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Three incidents happened with this vehicle. When I put the car on reverse and reversed and stopped, the gear was then put on drive and before the accelerator was stepped on the vehicle propelled itself at a very high speed and I had to emergently step on the brakes before it hit anything. The the front collision warning did not come on and the vehicle did not brake on its own. The same thing happened in our driveway and before we could apply the brakes the vehicle crashed into a tree. This time also the front collision warning did not come on and the vehicle did not brake and went and hit a tree. There was a video that captured this incident and was shown to our Ford dealership and they did not do anything about it. We told them that the vehicle accelerates by itself and is a safety hazard. Since this did not involve any other vehicle or pedestrian the hazard was limited only to ourselves, The insurance was charged more than $10,000 to fix the damages and we also had to pay a deductible of $1000. More importantly we are unaware if this has been reported by others and can cause serious injuries to the driver, occupants of the vehicle and other who may be involved inadvertenly. Any death caused will become the responsibility of the driver even though this was not the mistake of the driver.
