- #11625444November 15, 2024SUSPENSION:REAR:SHOCK ABSORBER
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that the passenger’s side rear shock was blown. While driving 35 MPH over a bump in the road, or while driving over a wet surface, the rear of the vehicle was fishtailing. There was oil leaking from the shock. The contact had a nail in the tire, and after removing the wheel, the contact became aware that the shock was covered in oil. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was determined that the rear shocks needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the parts being on back order. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

There is an issue when I try to pump gas the pump repeatedly kicks off. It happens every time I put gas in my vehicle. It causes me to not know when the fuel is full. It’s not an issue with the gas pump because it happens at all different locations. It’s a problem with the vehicle itself.

The left front driveshaft is a problem. Had a 2022 Ford Bronco and Ford did a RAV Lemon law. Bought a 2024 and now the same problem is happening again. Same issues and 800 miles on a new Bronco. Also on m 2022 had the hard top replaced 5 times and the axle 2 times. And the top now shows cracks with 800 miles as well. Thought Ford would figure it out. Bronco is a great vehicle, just horrible parts. The main thing is the driveshaft I feel be a HUGE safety ISSUE!!! I hope Ford corporate looks here and gets feedback. By the way, happens after 20 or so minutes of driving, gets warm and it sounds like birds chirping and squeaking.

- #11618945October 9, 2024WHEELS, ENGINE
We installed new tires and wheels on our vehicle and it immediately started having engine problems and the check engine light comes on. We took it to the dealer and after several days back and forth Ford told the deal that it's a known problem with the 2.3L version of the Ford Bronco however they had no fix and no timeline to fix the problem. This creates a safety hazard as the engine program can't be updated and could cause damage to the engine and cause it to fail. The dealer then stated that they could not return the vehicle to us with the new tires and wheels we purchased and we had to put our old tires and wheels on. We counted on the old tires for a spare since we already blew one tire out. So in addition to a safety hazard we are currently out $2,500 we spent on new tires and wheels, and now have to purchase another tire of the exact same original size to have a spare, costing us another $300.

Both rear shocks disassembled. The external reservoir to the factory 2021 Badlands bilstein shocks fell off at or around 36,000 miles. I did not hit a particular pothole, drive off road, it’s used for town/highway driving only, yet both external reservoir cylinders fell off at some point. These are solid cylinders that could cause damage to other vehicles. Now, my vehicle has an unsafe suspension ride, bouncy and kicks, and I’m scheduled for out of pocket repair.

I have owned my Bronco for a little over a year now, the Check Brake System light has been coming on the whole time. I have taken it to Ford 4 times now with no result of it being repaired. The dealership has no idea how to fix this issue. From reading other posts, I'm not the only owner experiencing this issue. Being its the brakes that are affected it is a serious issue.

The soft top headliner is detaching from the main roof structure right above the driver. This secondary liner is now impeding my view of the road and my view out the passenger side window. This "inner" liner has been pushed back into place numerous times but it is continuing to fall un-expectantly when I am operating the vehicle. This is very startling to be struck in the head from this inner liner at any time. The Dealer is stating this is not under warranty to be repaired and I would have to purchase a new top at my expense - Will the next top have the same problem? I am aware from internet searches that a TSB exists for model years '21-'23. [XXX] - our Ford is a 2024. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The front flares at highway speeds blow off-Ford has known about this issue and refuses to acknowledge this issue that is very well documented on the Ford Bronco Raptor forums. The do not warranty these even though there is only a few thousand miles, they will not even give a reason why they deny the warranty. This is a safety issue as they are only held on with a few clips. these are oversize flares and the wind from hwy speeds causes the flimsy clips to break making the oversized tire flares to fly off

I was sitting in my car and the back wind shield exploded over my dog and I. Ford was made aware of the issue, and apparently the Bronco's rods hyper extend and cause the tempered glass to break. Ford wont cover any damages done, and says it isn't covered by warranty. Although the dealership and Ford acknowledge no pressure was existenet to cause the window to burst randomly. In addition, Ford is aware the plastic placer screws in the removable hardtop is defective and cracks over time. However, they are not warrantying this repair.

Claim # CAS CXH-026-40233- PRE- COLLISION ASSIST(PCA) TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN PLEASE FORWARD TO CUSTOMER SERVICES Since they refused email. We have a 2024 In route to RIVERHEAD FORD and refuse to pay their $200 diagnosis fee on PCA failure. Not in OBD III plug in diagnosis no way to check if functioning. Will be reported to NHTSA. MY Broncos 2022 is still in bumper to plumber warrantee but recently with MY key not administrator key noticed the PCA was not functioning. On page 24 Bronco Quick Reference Guide states in pertinent parts: " If your vehicle is rapidly approaching a stationary vehicle, vehicle traveling in the same direction as yours or a pedestrian within your driving path, the system is designed to provide three levels of functionality. Alert; Brake Support & Active Braking" While driving an speaking to a customer service agents I tested behind a Benz at approximate 40 mph and deliberately move my Broncos MY22 less that one car length or so. NADA! NO DISPLAY! To place a pedestrian in from to test the PCA would be wrong. The limited express warrantee state no charge for warrantee service, yet a call to Riverhead Ford service agent who stated a diagnosis charge of $200 or so for one hour. The warrantee also states that power up on line modem saves are updates are no charge. Ford three customer service read " non-warrantee" Ford policy , but refused to disclose where they found that statement in warrantee . ( Attached download) Further two supervisors read same "non-warrantee" Ford statement said I must pay $200 or more for electronic software/radar type RF signaling systems like proximity sensors for diagnosis purposes. A simple drive with a car in front should when switch by touch screen from high ,moderate or low should function and save lives. It failed that test. Previously, the system function ,when a driver cut dangerous in front of me and if function on screen and I immediately braked, no so today. A non- Ford check the display a

Front pinion seal leak is detected at where the front drive shaft meets the front differential. Ford attempted to fix it with a pinion seal replacement and the leak is still unresolved, second attempt was done by changing the front differential fluid which also did not resolve the issue. This issue is fairly common amongst bronco owners on forums and will be hard to come to the users’ attention unless the user checks under the vehicle so the problem may be more widespread than reported. The undetected loss of front differential fluid may cause overheating of the front differential over time as the fluid levels become low and potentially cause a lockup at high speed when the vehicle is used in 4A AWD mode. The leak can also be a fire hazard.

After engaging the "flat -Tow" system and towing the bronco, the transmission endured a catastrophic failure resulting in a $6,300.00 transmission replacement. This all occurred "under Factory Warranty" Dealer blamed user error even though the dash board display repeatedly stated....."flat tow enabled". Research on various websites have found this is an ongoing problem with the bronco and has happened to many consumers. Dealer was totally unsympathetic to the situation.

I had multiple issues with the window/door drivers side rear. At first the door would not open because of the window getting stuck up. The window would also get stuck open at times. The vehicle was brought back to the dealership 3x for this same issue. The top seam (weather strip) appeared to "fall" down and trap it and then other times the window wouldn't completely close and you could hear whistling sound from the air forcing through the space. This had been going on until this past week when while driving on the highway the window just shattered into pieces. Thankfully no one was in that seat at the time.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the spark plugs had failed to remain connected. The spark plugs were reconnected. The next day the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was returned to the dealer where it was diagnosed with the same failure. The spark plugs were replaced. The failure reoccurred and the engine sounded as if the engine was sputtering while starting the vehicle for several minutes. The vehicle was returned to the dealer where it was diagnosed as spark plug failure and that the engine was misfiring. There were no DTC codes retrieved. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.

Break pedal feels very mushy and no breaking effect , very dangerous on highway speed for my car and cars behind me. I went to different dealers for a fix ,they all says it is normal, but it is sure not normal, I had multiple close calls. Break feel is inconsistent everyday. When I apply the break lots of deadline and no breaking effect for first few inches also pedal sinking to floor, ford and dealership are ignoring this serious safety concern. kindly do the needful, thank you
