The engine fan has been running and the check engine light has come on and upon further inspection I discovered that this is a common issue with this vehicle. I have had my vehicle inspected and serviced by Chevrolet since I purchased it and I informed the technician that there was water under my vehicle if it ran idle on several occasions and was told that it was a non issue and now that my vehicle is out of warranty there is an issue with the same thing I have been concerned about.

The temperature sensor fails randomly. I can reset it by unplugging the battery but it will just drop off again in a week or two.

Midway home I got a message on my dashboard “steering assist reduced - drive with care”, but my power steering was still functional. I parked my car in the driveway, shut it off, and the cooling fans started blowing excessively. This continued for 5-ish minutes before shutting off on its own. Then I noticed that the engine temp gauge wasn’t working. Unsure if this is a problem with the thermometer or the sensor currently.

Purchased a brand new 2024 Blazer on [XXX] - 11 miles on the vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas, TX. Transmission failed at 1150 miles in Galveston, TX on [XXX]. According to the Galveston Dealership an extensive transmission repair was performed on the vehicle at 6 miles. According to the GM rep I spoke with, that maintenance was performed as a Service Bulletin Recall. Car was transported to Dallas by GM. Parts are on back order. No ETA for resolution. The steering assist stopped working. The defrost stopped working because the ac stopped working. The temp gauge stopped working. Error code P0128. I have since found out all this is caused by a faulty temp sensor.

Took 2021 Chevy Blazer to a Chevy dealer for small leak. 25000 miles and dealer said I have a leak in the radiator and needs to be replaced. If I didn't notice the small leak the engine could overheat, and possibly start a fire.

The vehicle’s brakes failed while I was driving. I was luckily able to steer the vehicle off the road narrowly avoiding hitting another car. We had the vehicle towed to a Chevy dealer and they told us the fault was due to a low voltage battery. They would also not drive the vehicle until the battery was replaced because it was giving an error message of “brake system failure”. The dealer is the only place that has inspected the vehicle at this time. The warning messages appeared at the time of failure and not before. I find this to be a manufacturing defect in need of a recall as this could have easily caused harm or loss of life.

To whom it may concern, I own a 2021 chevrolet blazer I have been noticing a very large amount of water on the front floor boards since this discovery the windows being moist in the mornings make sence l. The windshield has been replaced several times with no obvious leaks at this location. There is no visible leaks during heavy rain or car washing, the biggest concern i have it if there's moisture I am more likely to develop electrical problems not to mention the moldy smell in the vehicle. I have done extensive research and found this to be a problem with most Chevrolet Blazer's my question is does Chevrolet have a solution to the problem that has found its way to many customers. I would believe with the number of complaints the Chevrolet engineers are working on a solution or a reason for this problem. The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the ambient air temperature was stuck on negative forty. The contact replaced the sensor. The vehicle went into ICE/SNOW Mode on several occasions and was not driving as designed. The air conditioner was blowing out hot air. Additionally, the vehicle was pulling to the right while driving. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who scanned the vehicle and determined that the sensor was operating as designed. The mechanic informed the contact that there was a loss of communication. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the control arm needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The dealer informed the contact that there was no recall coverage on the vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 34,980.

Addition to Case #[XXX] Hi: Read the following response from Chevrolet Care at the end of this Email about my braking problem. Take Note That Chevrolet is Admitting that in a case like mine (wet, slippery snow conditions) I only have Basically Two Wheel Braking and those two wheels (tires) are sliding during the complete stop. This happens when driving in town (20 -25 mph) The rear wheels as Chevrolet says have a drag effect, (basically no braking) Chevrolet has created a crash Hazard with this over engineered braking system when used in wet slippery snow conditions. Thank You [XXX] See Enail from Chevrolet Cares Hello [XXX], Thank you for your patience and for providing this information. We received an update from your dealership, Bergstrom Chevrolet Of Manitowoc, who advised the following: The system is functioning as normal. Brake pad thickness was measured at 8mm on all 4 wheels. The ABS system doesn't activate on all 4 wheels unless there is a total loss of traction across all four wheels which would indicate a total loss of control. With two wheels activating and the rear wheels still spinning is allowing for the retention of control by allowing for braking to the rear wheels but at a lesser degree to create stability and drag (braking) to maintain control and steering capabilities during the loss of traction at the front end. The ABS system does allow for the adjustment of braking power to specific wheels in an effort to maintain proper traction and steering prior to the emergency systems engaging in the event of a slide. The dealership is our eyes and ears on the ground, and I will stand by their judgement. However, if you feel strongly against the dealership's judgement, it is to your discretion on what dealership you would like to work with. Please note, this does not guarantee a different resolution. Please let me know if you wish to visit another GM location for further assistance, we're here to help. Tea Chevrolet Customer Care INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION

I got home from work, locked my car up for the night with everything working perfectly fine, then came out to leave for work the next morning to find “update failed. Return to dealer” on the infotainment screen. I did some pretty extensive research trying to find the fix, only to find that many people are having this exact same issue in the same circumstances where their vehicle was fine when it was parked, they go to get back in and nothing with the infotainment works. According to my online research, GM/Chevy is charging anywhere from $1500-2000 to fix. I contacted few different dealers to see if I would get the same price and I absolutely did. They said, “your car is no longer covered under any warranties so you will be fully responsible for the cost of the fix.” I have no sound, no GPS on my screen so now I have to use my phone for work navigation (talk about a safety hazard), my turn signal sounds don’t work, my talk to text doesn’t work, no more hands free calls. This is a huge safety issue and makes me wonder why there isn’t a recall yet. This is not normal wear and tear. This is a glitch in the GM programming that they should take responsibility for and fix before they lose a lot of business.
