SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 12-30 dated July 23, 2012. Complaints of steering wheel vibration and/or steering wheel oscillation at a speed range of 55 - 80 mph (88 ? 128 km/h), on vehicles with very low mileage or at PDI. The condition does not result in any handling concerns or loss of vehicle control. Vehicles have original factory-installed wheels and tires. Tire pressures on Audi vehicles are set to specified values in order to prevent flat spotting during the transportation process from various Audi plants to United States ports. To closely monitor complaints of tire-related vibration at very low mileage, we are asking that you contact the Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before performing any repairs on vehicles with this condition. This will assist us in diagnosing any potential issues with the condition noted above.

SummaryMIL on. Customer may report loss of performance. DTC P008700 (fuel rail pressure too low) may be stored in the engine control module, J623 (address word 01). Under extreme driving conditions with the A/C compressor switched off (e.g., long idle periods or extended stop-and-go traffic), high temperatures can build up in the fuel rail and may lead to fluctuations in fuel pressure, possibly causing DTC P008700 to be stored. Coolant temperature above 102?C in the freeze frame data can be an indicator of those extreme driving conditions.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-72 dated August 26, 2013. Audi Lane Change Assistant deactivates or is sporadically inoperative when the vehicle is driven in slowmoving stop-and-go traffic, especially on roads with multiple lanes. The message "Audi side assist unavailable: Sensors blocked" appears in the driver information system. The system is able to be activated approximately ten minutes after the traffic condition is removed, or after an ignition cycle. Audi Lane Change Assistant can be activated without issue. No obstructions can be found. DTCs are stored in the Lane Change Assistance control module. The control module mounting brackets are securely fastened to the lower rear bumper, and no damage is found to the rear bumper area, on the inside or outside. (If any damage is found, it is not covered under warranty.) The control module mounting brackets are not broken or loose. If a loose bracket is found, repair as necessary using the Elsa Repair Manual. Submit a separate warranty claim, as this TSB does not cover this repair.

Climate system heating performance is insufficient due to coolant loss, or due to a faulty N82 control valve. Inspection of the coolant control valves N82, N509, or N488 reveals the presence of coolant inside the electrical connector as shown in the illustration. The connectors, wiring harness, and/or connected control units may have been damaged from exposure to coolant.
