My 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe has been in the shop at Tameron Jeep in Daphne, AL for 37 consecutive days. After having the recall on the hybrid battery software performed, an engine light came on. When I returned it to Tameron service department, I was told the diagnostic scan showed a fault in the hybrid battery due to the recall software update. It has remained at the service department for 37 days without remedy. The service department says they are waiting on Stellantis to advise them and that they feel like Stellantis "Star Connect" tech line is requiring their service tech to perform the same repeated tests again and again to avoid approving the hybrid battery replacement. I have called Jeep customer care, opened a case twice, escalated, requested area manager, etc., and currently there is no update, plan of action, or timeline for repair. The service department said even after the battery replacement is approved (it has not been yet), it would be more than 30 days to get the new battery. So in addition to the current 37 days in service, it could potentially be another 30-60 plus days. I have been unable to get any help, any plan, any updates from Stellantis. The service department has been very understanding but they can't do anything further without approval from Stellantis. I'm still making payments and insurance on the vehicle.

1. The engine in my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is subject to manufacturer Recall 78C. According to the recall notice from Stellantis, the engine may be contaminated with sand from the casting process. This contamination can damage internal engine components and lead to catastrophic engine failure, loss of drive power, or a vehicle fire. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. 2. The recall states the engine could fail catastrophically, potentially causing a vehicle fire or sudden and unrecoverable loss of drive power. If this occurs while driving, it could lead to a crash without warning. This creates a significant safety risk to me, my passengers, other drivers, and property. I am also three months pregnant so it is also putting my unborn child at risk. 3. The safety defect has been confirmed by the manufacturer through Recall 78C. My vehicle is listed as affected by the recall, but there is currently no repair or remedy available. 4.The manufacturer has acknowledged the defect through the recall notice. I currently have an open case with Stellantis regarding this safety recall. The vehicle has not been repaired because the manufacturer states a remedy is still under development. 5. There have been a few times where my check engine light comes on, but then it turns off by the time I go to the dealer. Other than that there have been no warning lights or symptoms. However, the recall indicates that catastrophic engine failure and loss of power may occur without prior warning, which is why the safety concern remains unresolved. The vehicle is currently leased and I am continuing to make payments on a vehicle with an unresolved safety defect and no repair timeline. I have also opened a case with the manufacturer, Stellantis, regarding this unresolved safety defect. Case number: 95368058. This is also the second recall that could cause a fire to the vehicle. 68C recall we did have fixed, but it's trending to be an unsafe and unstable vehicle.

Vehicle communication failures. One point unable to start the vehicle. Then the wipers and all warning lights came on without being able to turn the vehile off. Had to disconnect both batteries while the wipers destroyed themselves on a dry windshield. This is also causing a Service Shifter warning light then total loss of power steering while driving down the road at any speed. This includes highway speeds. Dealer replaced power steering system with no resolution. Thousands of dollars in repair. Dealer stated they repaired wiring. Did not fix the issue. Now it is more intermittent. When the communication between modules is not functioning properly it disables the power steering even while driving. This is extremely dangerous and I can no longer trust my vehicle. There are thousands of reports and or reviews about this issue. Someone has to be held accountable. I have spent thousands and my Dealer spent weeks trying to resolve the issue. Jeep has roughly 37000 miles. This is an on going issue since October of 2025.

We have had the death wobble happen several times when driving. It was so violently shaking we tried to stop quick on a 75 mph hiway. Very dangerous and scary. This has happened many times over the last month. Had wheels realignment and new shocks. Still happening

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vehicle while driving at slow speeds. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The engine warning light was blinking, and the driver restarted the vehicle, and the engine warning light remained illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V766000 (Engine). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with an engine timing code and crank misalignment codes that was related to Manufacturer Recall Number: 78C. There was sand in the oil. The dealer determined that the engine needed to be dissembled, and photos taken to possibly obtain an engine for replacement. The dealer informed the contact that a loaner vehicle was not available. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 24,980.

While driving on the highway, my Jeep completely shut off and I lost control of everything the staring and I have no clue why it just shut off. I’m worried if I drive it I could do this while I’m on the highway and the third lane and I may end up in a collision.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a misfire coming from the engine, and there was a backfire coming from the exhaust system. Additionally, there was a coolant intrusion in cylinder #3 and a burning in the head gasket. The contact stated that the engine overheated and the vehicle failed to restart after it was turned off. The catastrophic engine failure was attributed to coolant intrusion into the combustion chamber, which caused severe internal damage. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where the engine was being replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.

The 3.5" screen on my jeep went out. Which prevented me from seeing speed, mileage and gas. They have recalled other jeeps from 2018-2024 but mine is not included because it has been in service for more then 24 months. We bought the jeep in 2023 with 20 some thousand miles on it. Why is there a time limit on a faulty part? Not everyone drives their cars 30,000+ a year, so problems with parts won't be known as early as 2 years. We replaced it and it cost $1600 plus a week of not having my car.

For about 6 months now, the abs control module has been bad. Leaving every light regarding braking on the dashboard and no safety features, such as abs, skid control, ect ect . The parts for this have beem on back order over a year now and there are tons of people experiencing the same issue as I. My vehicle only had 63000 miles when it failed. ( code c2200, abs internal failure) . Many people have experienced failure with way less miles. This is not a use failure, but rather a factory defect as these are a known issue. There needs to be a safety recall on the module and have it replaced. Thank you

The contact's daughter leased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V710000 (Electrical System), 25V741000 (Electrical System), and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving approximately 70 MPH in the middle lane, the vehicle stalled. It was unknown whether a warning light was illuminated. The driver was able to steer to the right lane. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to the residence, where it restarted independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the failure was associated with the recalls. The owner was informed that parts were not yet available. The dealer took the electrical plugs of the vehicle away and advised the owner to stop charging the vehicle and not park the vehicle near structures. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure recurred while her son-in-law was driving the vehicle in a parking lot. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not eligible for a buyback, and there was no financial compensation due to the recalls. The failure mileage was unknown.

Jeep Wranglers in the older/early models had aluminum steering steering boxes that would have excessive play do to thermal expansion. Jeep never made it recall but did provide a TSB NUMBER: 08-074-20 REV. B GROUP: 08- Electrical DATE: September 26, 2020. The TSB would recommend the aluminum steering box be replaced with a steel one. The issue is that many dealers refused to do the fix/change parts for free under or out of warranty. Its clearly an issue as later/newer models of the Jeep JL Wrangler started shipping with the steel steering box.

On 3/3/2026, I brought me JEEP 4XE to the Jeep dealership in Paris, Kentucky to have the 68C recall performed. The Jeep dealership used version #7 of the 68C recall instructions to updated all software modules and then to perform a 7 mile test run to engage the electric engine and to stress the vehicle per the instructions documented in the recall instructions. Document is identified as: * High Voltage Battery * Reference: 68C/NHTSA 25V-741 * Revision: 7 * Edition: February 2026 * Details: Additional DTC added to the end of Section B. BPCM software update After picking vehicle up from dealership, I proceeded home via a state highway Route 68 (Paris Pike). The roadway is a 4 lane divided highway and has a speed limit of 55mph. I set my vehicle to HYBRID mode and then placed it on cruise control as I had done numerous times over its 25,000 miles. During the drive there were occasional rolling hills and inclines. I gauged the hills to be about a 1% grade on average but never exceeding 2% grade. During these inclines, the gasoline engine engaged and the RPM gauge on the instrument cluster registered 3000RPM. This excessive engine RPM had NEVER occurred before the 68C factory recall procedure. In all other instances of the engine engaging, the RPM would engage at 2000RPM. I contend that the the engagement of the gasoline engine on these small inclines was NOT warranted and that the excessive RPM's of 3000 is not normal and was never experienced prior to the 68C recall fix. I am submitting this information for review and documentation. Video of the instrument cluster gauge showing the RMP gauage and the display panel showing the engine and battery kW used were taken to document the process. I believe that the engagement of the gasoline engine at 3000RPM will cause excessive wear of the engine and is a direct result of one of the software updates that was used to complete the 68C recall.

Electronic Cabin Heater- EV/ Hybrid component that acts as a heating element when driving in electric mode. Common issue since the Chrysler Pacifica eHybrid plug in vehicle was manufactured. Safety: Extreme temperatures we’ve experienced would prevent heat from dispersing in the engine cabin and potential damage to engine/ EV components due to no thermal regulation. Has been reproduced and replaced. Specific to Jeep Wrangler 4xe (2021+): “Electric mode unavailable; Cabin heating/cooling” Check Engine light with DTC codes P0E80-00 and P0E15-00 present on dash. First appeared October 31st, 2025.

Anti-Lock Brake System stopped working rendering the car inoperable. The first incident: about 5 years ago the ABS engaged the brakes while driving almost causing a collision. This incident occurred in Guaynabo, PR. After this incident the ABS Module stopped working but the car was still operable. A week ago the PCM lost communication with the ABS module bringing the car into "limp mode" (stuck in 3rd gear until y did not longer engaged the transmission. Also the speedometer stopped working.) This happened while driving on a Sunday on busy road. This has been a common issue with Jeep Wranglers made from 2012 to 2018. The company at this moment is not producing replacement parts (ABS Modules) for these vehicles leaving owners without any way to fix or use their cars. ABS Module DTC's: -C2200 -U0100 -U0141 -U0126 -U0002 While scanning the module comes and goes offline.

The instrument cluster has completely failed presenting a dangerous situation for driving. There are no warning lights, no speed indicator, no signal indicator, etc, etc. A simple Google search will show that this is a very widespread and well known issue with this vehicle, and a safety recall notice should be issued and the replacement should be covered by the manufacturer. The vehicle was inspected by the dealership and they confirmed it is the instrument cluster.

Recent ABS module failure w C2200 code. Took to Chrysler/Jeep dealer for repair and was told replacement module part is unavailable with up to and more, a year backorder. Was advised there was nothing they could do to repair. Researched other dealers and suppliers with same results. This is certainly a safety concern as this ABS module failure appears to be a common failure in Jeeps of this and adjacent model years and there is nothing a dealer or any other service firm can repair due to part availability.

FCA is not handling this recall professionally. Dealerships are stating they do not handle the towing, despite this being a DO NOT DRIVE recall that has resulted in deaths. FCA has used a call center that employs people who barely speak English. Lack of ability to communicate with the customer and dealership staff should disqualify someone from serving in this capacity. The service department at my local dealership seems to be suggesting I just drive the vehicle down, which contradicts the DO NOT DRIVE portion of this recall. I do not believe FCA is acting in good faith to perform these recalls in a safe manner for the customer.

- #11721573March 2, 2026POWER TRAIN, ENGINE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
My 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (3.6L eTorque, automatic transmission) has experienced recurring drivetrain instability beginning at approximately 2,000 miles while under factory warranty. The vehicle intermittently exhibits a high-RPM flare during acceleration, where the engine speed increases without a commensurate increase in vehicle acceleration. The transmission then abruptly engages, causing sudden jerking. At low speeds (approximately 10–5 mph), the vehicle shudders and harshly downshifts, creating a sudden grabbing sensation. Engine RPMs fluctuate during deceleration as if the transmission cannot smoothly match engine speed. Braking feels inconsistent, and at times it feels as though the vehicle is accelerating or resisting braking input before abruptly slowing. The vehicle has felt as though it would stall at low speeds and has stalled intermittently. Additionally, the forward collision warning / automatic emergency braking system has activated without an obstacle present. There have also been intermittent instances of loss of power steering assist. The engine has developed a ticking noise and a high-pitched ringing/whining sound from the engine area during operation. In January 2026, the transmission catastrophically failed and required replacement of the transmission, torque converter, cooler, and control module. The vehicle was out of service for over 24 days. Following installation of a Mopar remanufactured transmission and torque converter, the same symptoms have recurred, including RPM flare, delayed shifting, shuddering, harsh downshifts, unstable deceleration, and abnormal engine noises. These conditions present a safety concern due to loss of expected acceleration, unpredictable torque engagement, unintended braking activation, intermittent power steering loss, stalling behavior, and drivetrain instability. The vehicle is currently under further diagnostic evaluation. I have multiple documents, but the file is too large to upload
