On XXX at approximately 1002am, [XXX] was on the exit ramp from [XXX] northbound to [XXX]. At the end of the ramp, she stopped and tried to make a left turn onto [XXX] northbound. The vehicle was still in Electric mode (plenty of battery life remaining). The Jeep crawled through the intersection, with the accelerator all the way to the floor. [XXX] feared that she would be struck by oncoming traffic. The gas motor did not activate until sometime after she cleared the intersection. At that point there was a message on the dashboard "Electric Mode Unavailable". The Jeep switched itself to Hybrid mode. For the next two miles the Jeep ran utilizing the gasoline engine. The Jeep traveled erratically. It would slightly speed up and then slightly slow down. It was unable to maintain a constant speed. After two miles [XXX] stopped at a red light. The gasoline motor shut off. When the light turned green, she was able to easily travel the next mile home utilizing battery power only. On XXX at approximately 1000am, [XXX] was driving the Jeep on [XXX] at a speed of 72mph. The vehicle was in E-Save mode and had 16 miles of battery life remaining. [XXX] switched over to Electric mode and slowly began to lose speed. She put the accelerator all the way to the floor, but the gas motor did not activate. The Jeep dropped slowly down to 62mph where it leveled off. Shortly thereafter she exited the highway, so she was able to come off the accelerator. My 2016 Jeep Wrangler will buck and jerk when on the highway. I’ll be going a steady speed, not changing speed. I feel the car slow down and stomp on the gas but it goes all the way to the floor and nothing happens. When I try to go into the break down lane, the steering wheel locks up and won’t turn. Usually I take the key out then put it back in the ignition and it starts no problem. Recently, the engine has been stalling when I put the key back in the ignition. I usually have to take the key out and sit on the side of the highway for 5 minutes before starting it up with no problem. This has happened too many times than I’d like to admit. Take it to the shop, no codes come up. Sometimes the engine light will turn on when this happens, other times it doesn’t.

Most of the dash lights are on scan code U1412. Says traction control not working, ABS not working, speedometer not working, and airbags not working. The Power Control Module (PCM) needs replaced. A known issue with the Jeep Wrangler JKs. No one stocks the parts and used ones are way over priced. How can Jeep not have to replace it or at least stock a replacement part that has the issues resolved?

Instrument panel cluster failure in my 2019 jeep wrangler unlimted sport. instrument panel cluster +9 Stellantis (Jeep) recalled certain 2019 Jeep Wranglers (Campaign 24V-652 or Recall #30B) because their 3.5-inch instrument panel clusters can short-circuit and go completely dark. This causes you to lose your speedometer and critical warning lights, increasing crash risks. Dealers replacement . Thing is none of all 4 are honoring this recall. Im having the same issues as this recall. FCA, NHTSA, CHRYSLER/JEEP, STELLANTIS. ALL 4 i have called even made a complaint and all i get is so rry cant help you cause my vin number is not on the recall yet having the same recall issues. Vehicle: 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX]) Complaint Description: My vehicle is currently under active NHTSA Recalls 25V-766 and 26V-363. Following the 25V-766 software flash designed to detect internal engine bearing failure, the vehicle has experienced a sudden, unrecoverable loss of propulsion (Limp Mode) on the highway at 60 mph on three to four separate occasions. This has nearly resulted in high-speed rear-end collisions, making the vehicle incredibly dangerous for my family. The vehicle is currently grounded at Criswell Jeep in Maryland. Despite the vehicle experiencing the exact catastrophic failure outlined in 25V-766, Stellantis corporate and the local dealership are refusing to authorize the mandated engine block replacement. The dealership claims their local technicians cannot physically replicate the failure and do not know how to extract the historical freeze-frame data from the vehicle's computer. Instead of dispatching a Stellantis Field Technical Specialist to pull the internal Uconnect logs—which Jeep Cares corporate admitted on a recorded line is the required next step if the local tech cannot duplicate the issue—the dealership has put over 150+ unnecessary test-drive miles on the vehicle and consumed half a tank of gas trying to blindly trigger the failure. Conducting 150 miles of highway test driving on a vehicle with a documented history of suddenly losing propulsion while it simultaneously has an active, unpatched fire risk (26V-363 "Park Outside" advisory) is a severe safety liability. Furthermore, Jeep Cares explicitly refused to reimburse me for the gas and mileage, stating this excessive driving is just part of their diagnosis and quality control. The manufacturer is negligently failing to execute a federal safety recall by refusing to utilize proper engineering diagnostic tools, leaving INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

With the current recall on a specific part for the Jeep Wrangler, there is currently no resolution to the problem. I worry that my vehicle with catch on fire or catch nearby vehicles on fire. I live in Georgia and the temperature has been very high this summer. I cannot ensure my vehicle is parked away from others since I live in a high populated city. I would prefer some remedy for this situation.

My 2021 Jeep Wrangler 3.0L EcoDiesel experienced a failure of the engine oil cooler that allowed engine oil and engine coolant to cross contaminate. The oil cooler on this engine sits between the oil and coolant passages, so an internal failure of that component mixes the two systems. The failure first occurred in September 2025 while the vehicle was in use, and coolant intrusion into the oil system has recurred in 2026. This condition is a safety concern because it can cause engine overheating and sudden loss of engine performance or engine failure while driving. On one occasion the vehicle overheated within approximately one mile of leaving a service facility. Low oil pressure was also observed (as low as 9 psi), which risks engine damage and loss of power in traffic. The manufacturer (FCA US LLC / Stellantis) initial XXX November 7, 2025 the arbitrator ruled in my favor, finding the oil cooling system failure "was more likely a result of a Manufacturer defect" and that my modifications "did not cause the oil cooling system failure," and ordered the manufacturer to repair it. FCA's own [XXX] owner dashboard showed the Powertrain Limited Warranty active (expiration 10/07/2026 or 100,000 miles) as recently as May 18, 2026; yet by XXX a Stellantis dealership reported the vehicle under a complete vehicle restriction and refused to diagnose it, leaving a known engine defect unrepaired. I am reporting this so the potential safety defect in the EcoDiesel oil cooler and the resulting engine overheating and failure risk are on record, and because the manufacturer has not repaired a defect that an arbitrator determined to be a manufacturing defect. While driving my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe in normal conditions, the vehicle unexpectedly loses electric drive power. Power is reduced in stages — to approximately 50%, then 25% — then electric mode is disabled and the dash displays "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable," after which the vehicle forces into hybrid operation after a delay. During the delay, the vehicle does not deliver the power requested by the accelerator. This has occurred at 41%, 73%, and 81% battery state of charge during normal driving, with no wide-open-throttle demand — conditions under which the manufacturer's specification states electric power should continue. This is a loss of drive power. The manufacturer's own recall A7C (NHTSA campaign 25V710000) identifies a software error that may result in loss of drive power in these vehicles, and states that a loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. My vehicle exhibits this condition but is not included in that recall population, which raises a question of whether the recall scope covers all affected vehicles. Safety risk: unexpected loss of drive power during normal driving — including when merging, crossing intersections, or pulling into traffic — creates a delay in which the vehicle does not respond to the accelerator as expected. Reproduced by the dealer: dealership service personnel personally experienced the loss of electric propulsion during a test drive, and the condition was also reproduced on a second 4xe vehicle at the dealership. In all cases, no diagnostic trouble codes were present, no repair was performed, and the vehicle was returned as "operating as designed." A neutral arbitrator in the manufacturer's warranty arbitration found that a nonconformity exists with a propulsion issue on the vehicle. The condition has not been properly diagnosed because I am unable to obtain the diagnostic measurement I have requested. The manufacturer's case manager has stated that warranty coverage for diagnostic testing cannot be confirmed

Had no warning messages or alerts. The Instrument Cluster Display Screen went black. We have no way of knowing the amount of gas, speed, mileage, tire pressure or any other alerts. I believe this to be a safety issue. Have replaced both the main and auxiliary battery. There are many 2020 Jeep Wranglers that are recalled for this very issue. Wondering why mine is not.

Failed emission test and the car is 6 years old. I have had this car in for the death wobble and told them the engine fan stays on. It has done this for years. Dealer kept stating it just had to cool off. The Jeep vehicles that have the deal wobble should be recalled very dangerous. I have videos I can submit.

The contact owned a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the engine temperature gauge was increasing. The engine overheating warning light illuminated, the vehicle was turned off, and the contact exited the vehicle to open the hood and immediately closed it when the fire was discovered. The contact stated that there were flames coming from the back of the engine, and the front of the vehicle became engulfed in flames. The engine, seat cover, and front windshield were damaged, and the hood was melted. There was no injury sustained. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department. The contact stated that the police were on the scene, but a Police report was not filed. The insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.

Recall Number: 26V363000 Vehicle: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara I am filing a Recall Remedy Failure complaint. This recall was issued in June 2026 for a fire risk when the vehicle is parked. The recall status continues to show "Recall incomplete, remedy not yet available." I have contacted Jeep/Stellantis multiple times and have been told there is no remedy, no parts, and no timeline for repair. They have been unhelpful and unable to provide any safe interim solution. This defect poses a fire risk, and I have been unable to safely use or park the vehicle. It has been well beyond the reasonable time required under federal law for the manufacturer to provide a remedy. I am requesting NHTSA intervention and classification of this case as a recall remedy failure. I am seeking a manufacturer buyback as required under the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

Following completion of the 68C Battery recall, my vehicle began experiencing unexpected and severe loss of electric propulsion while driving. These failures occur without warning, immediately reducing power and causing the vehicle to stall in active traffic. On multiple occasions, surrounding drivers were forced to take evasive action to avoid collision with my stalled Jeep. Incident Timeline 05/15/2026 The hybrid battery failed completely, causing the Jeep to stall in traffic. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, where the hybrid battery was replaced. 06/01/2026 The Jeep was returned to me after repairs. 06/02/2026 The Jeep again lost power and stalled in the middle of the road. After moving it to safety, it was towed back to the dealer. Additional components were replaced. 06/20/2026 The Jeep was returned to me once more. Post‑Repair Behavior (Ongoing) Since being returned, the Jeep continues to suffer sudden and major loss of electric propulsion while driving. Only after the power loss occurs does a warning appear stating “ELECTRIC MODE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE.” This warning arrives too late to prevent hazardous situations, as the vehicle has already become a danger to surrounding traffic. Safety Concern The repeated and unpredictable propulsion failures create significant risk of collision, endanger both myself and other drivers, and indicate that the recall repair and subsequent service attempts have not resolved the underlying defect. Key Takeaways Recurring safety‑critical failures: Vehicle repeatedly stalls without warning in active traffic. Multiple unsuccessful repairs: Battery replacement and additional component replacements have not corrected the issue. Immediate danger: Each failure forces surrounding drivers to take evasive action. Delayed warning system: The “ELECTRIC MODE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE” alert appears only after propulsion loss. Ongoing defect: Vehicle remains unsafe to operate and continues to pose a serious haza
