The Sound: A loud clicking, clunking, or "popping" noise coming from the front wheels. When it happens: It is most noticeable when turning the steering wheel (especially sharp turns at low speeds) or accelerating from a stop. The Issue: The Constant Velocity (CV) joints in the front axles may be defective or prone to premature wear.

When I turn my Honda Prologue wheels to the right or left and accelerate (usually all the way/full turn, but not always), I will hear clicking. I understand this has been a previously reported CV Axle joint clicking issue that I am now experiencing on my car.

The digital instrument cluster (dashboard screen) and the infotainment screen went black while I was driving. This meant I was unable to see my MHP or any critical information on my car. I was listening to music and first it stopped, then a moment later both screens went black. This lasted for 30 seconds until one came on followed by the other.

Every time I turn fully left or right there is a clicking, binding type noise. Gos away as steering is straightened. Have not gone to dealer yet because I have heard on Prologue forum web site that it is not being fixed yet, some have been in 3 to 6 times to replace cv axles, but that Honda engineering is working on a fix, ie a newly designed cv axles. Would appreciate any help on speeding up this process.

When turning my vehicle I hear a clicking & cracking sound in the cv joints of the car. It happens in both directions. This can be a safety issue when driving if the axial or CV joints fail. It could put myself, my family & other people on the road in danger if this happens & the joints go out or fail. NO warning lights it just happened over time. the car has only 14000 miles at the time of this complaint.

My honda prologue makes a loud knocking sound at every turn. Dealer says it's covered under warranty and it's the CV axle. Came in today and apparently there was a stop work order for this issue on the honda prologues. This issue has been replicated and confirmed by the dealer. This issue appeared around 2 months ago at around 12k miles. No warning lamps, no system warning, just a very loud knocking sound at every turn.

Clunking sound from front of car when turning. Dealer inspected vehicle and reported that this is a known issue related to CV joint/ axle but parts to resolve are back ordered or unavailable. Vehicle has less than 5500 miles.

- #11711383January 16, 2026UNKNOWN OR OTHER, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
The automatic emergency barking system suddenly applies even when there are no obstructions. Happens regularly. I was almost rear-ended at a stop light by another vehicle because of the sudden application of the emergency braking system, even though there was nothing in front of me. Axel makes a loud cranking sound when making a right or let turn. Battery 'Service vehicle now' warning consistently comes on with warning to reduce acceleration even when the vehicle is not in motion.

- #11711324January 16, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, STEERING
Three major problems stand out: faulty CV joints/axles that produce loud clicking or knocking noises when turning, false activations of the automatic emergency braking (AEB) system, which I had to turn off, and high-voltage system failures that can disable charging or limit performance. Other concerning issues include steering malfunctions, infotainment system blackouts, USB-C not connecting, battery not charging to 300mi range, forward collision sensor false activation, and braking anomalies.

- #11711285January 15, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
On 2 occasions (before a dealer initiated system update), without anyone in jeopardy of being hit in front of me, my vehicle suddenly and shockingly halted - I had no idea what was happening and thought someone hit me from behind. First instance I was at a 4 way stop sign at a complete stop with much traffic in all directions. I had ample distance in front of me. Second instance, I was driving through a green light at an intersection - again not close to hitting anyone and in control of my brakes and speed, and my car stopped - almost causing the person behind me to hit me!!! It was a busy intersection!!! My dealer said they did a system update for my vehicle this past weekend, but the same thing happened again today in a busy intersection. Additionally; the organice brake warning randomly appears on my main control panel for no reason - when I have ample clear runway ahead of me!!! I am shook and so not feel safe in this vehicle. My elderly mother in law as a passenger on one of the instances nearly had a heart attack!!

- #11711180January 15, 2026STEERING, SERVICE BRAKES
Vehicle: 2025 Honda Prologue Location: Sacramento, California Date of Incident: [XXX] What failed or malfunctioned The vehicle experienced a sudden loss of directional stability involving the steering system, brake-by-wire system, and electronic stability control (ESC). Steering and braking inputs did not produce proportional vehicle response. What happened While driving under normal conditions, the vehicle began drifting to the left. I attempted to steer back to the right and applied braking; however, the vehicle did not respond as expected. Electronic stability control did not appear to engage or correct the loss of control. The vehicle then deviated from its intended path, overturned, and struck a fence. The vehicle was declared a total loss. No other vehicles were involved, and no injuries occurred. Safety risk This failure created an immediate and serious safety risk. The loss of steering and braking effectiveness could have resulted in severe injury or fatality. The rollover demonstrates a critical safety concern. Warning signs No warning lights, messages, or symptoms were present prior to the failure. The event occurred suddenly without notice. Inspections The vehicle was inspected by police and insurance representatives. The manufacturer has not yet inspected the vehicle. The vehicle remains available for inspection through the insurance provider. Dealer confirmation The issue has not yet been reproduced due to the vehicle being totaled. Additional concerns The vehicle’s behavior was inconsistent with normal operation of safety-critical systems designed to maintain vehicle control. I am concerned about system performance, calibration, or possible electronic control failure. Manufacturer contact I reported this issue to Honda Customer Care by phone and requested escalation to engineering review. CV joints clicking when turning Service eCall keeps coming on Warning light on next to battery range with an exclamation point over the car. The manual indicates its a system malfunction that can be related to vehicle stability assist (VSA) electric power steering (EPS). My safety has not been put at risk. My car will suddenly go through all the motions of emergency braking at a stand still. I also get the beeping on the highway and there is nothing in front of me or around me
