- #11627418November 26, 2024VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
When driving along using the cruise control, the vehicle will suddenly act as it is avoiding a collision. The collision warning will show on the dashboard and the car will suddenly slow down to a stop or near stop until I disengage the cruise control and hit the gas pedal. This has happened multiple times while I was driving along a paved road with no other cars or obstacles visible ahead of me. Fortunately, so far, no vehicle was following me at close range but my car stopping in the middle of the road without warning could easily cause a rear end collision or other severe accident.

- #11627202November 25, 2024FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
While driving on the highway, the vehicle went into limp mode then the engine light came on. Luckily I was able to pull off to the shoulder. After bringing it to the dealership, P0087 was found and they did the fuel pump recall. This did not fix the problem, and it was found the high pressure fuel pump failed and it was not covered by the recall. After dealership fix the high pressure fuel pump, now they told me the fuel injector also failed.

While driving on a 55 mph highway, in clear dry road, I heard an explosion. My sunroof had exploded, with so apparent cause. I was not following any vehicles. There were no wires or limbs overhead. Fortunately the inside cover was closed or the.driver and the passenger would have been covered in glass, and driving could have been impaired causing an accident. Upon researching, I have found I am not the only Honda CRV driver to whom this has happened.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that his girlfriend was driving at 65 MPH when the collision avoidance activated and stopped 40 feet before reaching the vehicle in front. The driver noticed a vehicle driving at approximately 50 MPH from the rear and attempted to avoid a collision however the vehicle failed to drive and remained at a halt. The driver's side side view mirror shakes while driving at highway speeds. This makes using the mirror extremely difficult and dangerous when attempting to merge or switch lanes as it it difficult to clearly see. I brought this to the dealership to get it fixed, but they said that "all Honda CRV side view mirrors shake that much."

- #11626963November 23, 2024SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I have been having issues with my car abruptly stopping by itself. One example is when I was driving down the road with no one behind me and the car went from 40MPH to 0. The car behind me almost hit me. But MotorWorld's excuse to this was maybe this was because of the sun!!!!! I had called MotorWorld when this first started happening and they claimed they never heard of this happening before after bringing the car in to be looked at they kept asking if i was sure I wanted it to be looked at because with will cost me money if no codes show. I had it looked at and they told me it was my EZ-pass then it was my aftermarket window that I bought the car with (even though they found codes while troubleshooting). I eventually asked them to disable it, which they told me they couldn't. I found online that there is a button to disable it every time I get in the car. I had called Honda directly to file a complaint which the person told me to take it to get a second opinion. I told him I took it to a certified Honda dealer why would I have to take it anywhere else. I am still driving this unsafe car that stops by itself. I would have filed this a long time ago, but I was not aware of this reporting system. Thats why I reported it to honda who did nothing for me, but mislead me for months before I just gave up on them

- #11627012November 23, 2024ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
All warning lights appearing on the dashboard unexpectedly which then prevents the cruise control and other features from working. This issue comes and goes and makes it unsafe to drive. A new battery was installed but that did not solve the issue and no one has a solution. There are many websites stating this exact same problem. Different years and both CR-V and Pilots.

Hi. I have gone to my car dealership on 9/12/2024 and called Honda Corporation in October 2024 for an update when my car’s recall can be serviced and at both times they tell me that not enough parts are available to service my car’s recall. This is horrible customer service that a possible life and death recall can affect my situation because Honda is not taking responsibility in producing enough parts fast enough to resolve this recall. Recall number: 24V-064 for 2020 Honda CRV hybrids.
