The top fuel filter developed a leak at the cap spraying fuel into the engine compartment essentially rendering the truck unusable. Truck has 25K miles on it. Manufacturer maintenance asks for fuel filter change at 30K miles. There is a recall on exact same issue on Ford trucks model 2020 and later but it doesn't cover model 2019 which has exact same fuel filter part. This could have been a potential fire hazard.

2013 Ford F-250 58,660 miles - Death Wobble. At 65mph, the front end of the truck experienced a violent shaking which caused the vehicle to be uncontrollable and start sliding sideways. It was not wheel bounce. The shaking steering wheel indicated it was wheel wobble which I had no idea existed. Warning of the danger that Ford was aware of would have been nice. I held tight to the steering wheel and stomped on the brakes to stop it. Down to 60mph, it hit again and again on the brakes. Down to 55mph in 65mph city rush hour traffic, it hit so hard I was afraid something was going to break! I stood on the brakes to stop it and thank goodness other drivers were paying attention because there could have been a multiple car pile up! Called Ford. Typical corporate runaround. 8,000 miles out of warranty? A dealer said there was no recall and I would have to pay for repairs. Really? The best truck manufacturer in the world just went to the worst. Hiding this problem is going to get someone killed.

While driving on a highway I went over a bump in the road and the vehicle started shaking violently and I could not control it. I applied the brakes and slowed to about 30 mph and the shaking stopped. No other motorists were involved.

Traveling on uneven road leads to uncontrollable driving when u hit a bump the front end shakes to the point you have to stop even when passing a vehicle on interstates ( my incident) my mechanic has changed numerous parts , rotated tires ( installed 06 21) i cannot let my wife drive this truck for fear of her not being able to control the shaking if she hits a bump especially while on the interstate I just think she would freak out I did the first time now I am very cautious when driving but in Louisiana it is impossible to miss a bump

The recall that expired July 31, 2022 was to fix the reductant heater and sender assembly. I've had this issue ever since I owned this vehicle, but it only occurs when the DEF tank is at half-volume. Once it's at half volume, it generates the DTC P21B0 and doesn't tell me how many miles I have left in my DEF tank nor does it state how full it is. This is a risk in driving, as I have no idea how much fluid is left in my DEF tank. I was in the dealership in June to get two separate recalls resolved (21E01 as well as 21M01), but for 21M01, you needed to have the DTC present to be eligible. Well, the particular issue, 21M01, only occurs in my 2014 F-250 6.7L when the DEF tank gets near 1/2 full. This took several months to occur, landing it two weeks outside the July 31,2022 date. I contacted Ford and opened [XXX] at that time and today I was told I'm ineligible. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

LT 275/ 70 R 18. Pieces of the tread are peeling away in chunks. The outer edges of the tread pattern appear to have been cut into and have gaps where rubber is missing. The salesperson at the place of purchase assured me that this is caused by driving on rocks. My 83 yo father has never seen anything like this on any tires. My 50,000 mile tires are down to the wear marks with approximately 22,000 miles. l no longer feel safe in my normal travels with these seemingly defective tires That may fail at any time.

The vehicle steering whips uncontrollably while driving over road imperfections (bumps, potholes, road transitions, etc.). Nearly lost control of the vehicle while driving in our neighborhood at ~35 mph when I hit a bump in the road. After researching, many people have reported this as the “death wobble.” I have not taken the vehicle to the dealer yet as I initially thought it was an isolated issue. It has now occurred multiple times and clearly creates an unsafe driving situation. There are no warning lights or signals but the problem is easily reproduced by driving the vehicle at ~35 mph or more over bumps in the road. I’ve had the issue occur on the highway at 70 mph and it could easily move the truck into another lane. I feel strongly that this should be throughly inspected immediately as it poses life-threatening conditions to drivers, passengers, and oncoming or nearby drivers.

Death Wobble: At speeds above 55mph the vehicle becomes uncontrollable after encountering bumps in the road that initiate the death wobble. The wobble becomes more uncontrollable until you can get the vehicle stopped - to zero mph. This was very dangerous in heavy Denver I25 traffic where your ability to stop was constrained by adjacent vehicles. It also occurred in construction zones with rough pavement and no shoulders or places to get off road. Having to hit the skids in the middle of freeway traffic posted with an 80mph speed limit, is life threatening, for my vehicle and the other drivers. Ford is well aware of this problem - the internet has many videos explaining how to fix it. Ford needs to get this done before someone is killed. I cannot drive the vehicle above 55mph.

On 8/27/22 Driving on the highway at a speed of approximately 70 mph coming of a bridge and going over transition caused the front of the truck to shake violently. With the wheels shaking and wobbling violently it was difficult to steer. This continued until I came to a complete stop on the side of the highway. This happened AGAIN on 9/4/22 with same situation on return trip home. Truck shook violently with tires wobbling until I pulled over to a complete stop. Very scary and dangerous! There was no warning prior or after incident. Truck had just been in for routine service with tire rotation on 8/16/22. Truck to be inspected by dealership on 9/14/22

Today, September 6, 2022, is the first time I experienced the so called death wobble. I was traveling along at 55 mph when I went over a bump in the road and my truck began to shake like a dog shaking water off. I slowed down to 40 mph before it stopped. The shaking caused the turbocharger intake hose to break away from the engine causing an undrivable condition.

Going down the road at about 60MPH when I hit a bump in the road. The truck started to shack very hard, and I had to apply light brake pressure and pull off the side of the road. It stopped and I took it to the dealer. Was told steering damper was weak and needed to be replaced and it only has 32,524 miles. Did not have part and will not have it for 1-2 months.

While driving my children to school on a two lane road (55) the front end started shaking wildly. I lost control of the vehicle and ran oncoming traffic off the road when I crossed the double yellow line. My vehicle is stock with just barely 17k miles. Very scary.

The tail gate of my F250 drops inadvertently. It dropped while I was hauling a trailer and was severely damaged. Ford is repairing this damage and has replace the latch and wiring harness to prevent it from happening again however 1 day after the recall repairs were completed, the tail came down on its own yet again. The fix did not work. I notified the dealership and they said they would notify Ford.

The truck is experiencing what is commonly referred to as the "Death Wobble." At around 55 mph, the vehicle starts to violently shake. It shakes the whole vehicle, especially the steering--the steering wheel severely shakes until I slow the vehicle slows down below 40 mph. From my research, I've found this is a common issue among other Superduty owners. It seems like there are faulty front end suspension and/or steering parts at play: pitman arm, drag link, tie rod ends (and their bushings/ball joints), etc. The shaking happens on the freeway and is frightening to experience as it could potentially lead to losing control if unable to slow down in time to stop the shaking. Being at freeway speeds, my family and I are at risk as well as other vehicles on the road if we were to lose control. This issue did occur 1.5 years ago. I took it into a Ford dealership where they replaced the steering dampener/stabilizer. Now the death wobble is happening again. From what I've learned, this is a band-aid fix that doesn't address the root cause of the death wobble. No warning lamps or error codes are present before, during, or after the shaking.

While driving down road steering began to shake violently to the point unit drifted into other lane. Had to pull over to the side of the road to get it to stop. Took unit to dealer and was told parts on back order for a long time Ford is aware. Unit parked due to safety concerns.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-250. The contact stated while driving out of a parking lot at approximately 3 MPH, the air bag warning light illuminated and the steering wheel was difficult to operate. The contact then parked the vehicle. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer and it was diagnosed with an air bag sensor failure. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts not being available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.

I recently purchased this vehicle with approximately 93000 miles on it. I have been experiencing wheel oscilation (AKA death wobble). I have replaced numerous suspension parts (tie rod ends, pitman arm, track bar bushing, track bar ball joint, front shocks). I have spent close to $1000 on trying to resolve the problem and am obviously not done yet. I am still experiencing this problem intermittently. The mechanic hasn't been able to find any loose or worn parts but there is obviously a problem, perhaps in the design of the system. I know I am not the only one experiencing this issue. When this "death wobble" occurs on the interstate the vehicle becomes almost impossible to control. The only way to make it stop is to slow down to below 50 MPH.
