The black plastic "roof rails" on the roof of my truck began cracking several months ago - I reported this to the dealership and just got excuses. I showed this to my dealership again on Friday and they said they would look into it. Today while driving the truck the entire roof rail came off and flew into traffic on the highway.. luckily no one hit it or did it cause a crash, etc. However when I did look this issue up on the internet it seems Ford already has an active recall for this type of problem on another model car, however google searching the issue with my truck I found hundreds of complaints on different bulleting boards, and the other problem is apparently Ford is not covering the replacement of this part, and the only way to replace it is to remove the rear window (which has also resulted in MANY shattered windows) Ford did a recall for a similar issue with the Ford Explorer - The Ford reference number for this recall is 21S22. I fell this is an issue that should be addressed and how Ford plans to fix this as I even purchased an extended "platinum warranty" from Ford on this vehicle - - yet now they are refusing to do anything I dont have to pay hundreds of dollars to fix or risk shattering my windows.

Headlights on new Platinum 2024 F250--when driving at night there are several issues. On low beam there is a black line that shows up across the upper view. On high beam the black line is even more prominent and shapes start showing up in the lights. Squares first then as you drive and turn they change to V, M and X shapes. (see pictures). The truck has 560 miles on it and it has been to the Ford dealership twice. They are saying that there is nothing wrong with the lights, and these lights are the new projector lights from Ford. They even pulled another Platinum 2024 F250 next to mine to compare the lights and they are the same (see pictures) I am not getting anywhere with Ford, our local dealership is trying, but Ford is not helping them. I even made a call to customer service on 8/22/24. They told me that I need to go to another dealership and get a second opinion. These lights are very distracting with shapes moving across your line of vision and could be distracting to other vehicles. Also, there are totally blacked out areas on the sides, we live in a high deer population area, being able to see in the ditches is imperative. I do not want to drive at night due to it being unsafe. Truck is available for inspection upon request. Its just parked for now until we can get the lights changed or Ford does a recall.

The BJB fuse panel gets water in it .The vehicle produces multiple alarms and the throttle stops working . So when going down the road it goes to a idle and you can't get out of the way of other vehicle's . The ford dealership said the BJB Panels do get water in them but have not heard of them causing this problem. There was a list of alarm's from the fuse panel failure it all happened about the same time .

I was sold this truck in November 2023 with the emissions deleted and without knowing this was removed/deleted. I did not become aware until 3 weeks ago when I brought my truck into service for a warranty issue with the fuel component. After some back and forth I was then told it would not be covered because I deleted the emissions, but I did not as this was removed prior to the purchase. Then more back and forth and pointing fingers between service and sales and a lot of ummm this should have never been sold to you and no one taking the blame and being told my truck will not be covered. I purchased the truck, have had the oil changed with their service and that's it. Now no one wants to do anything and even purchased an extended warranty!!!

My truck was working great until I took it in for the clock spring recall. After that my Bluetooth and my back up camera work intermittently. I took my truck back to the dealer ship about a week after the recall and said my sync was not working and they said at first it wasn't from the recall but then they took another look and said it was. The sync worked fine for about another week and then stopped again. Since then the sync goes in and out. Most of time out so I cannot do phone calls through the truck so I took it back to a new ford dealership and they said the clock spring was done correctly and its the APIM. I looked into that and saw there have been recalls on other ford cars for this problem. I'm assuming this problem is also why my back up camera goes in and out too. Sometimes just a blue screen and sometimes just black.

Truck was purchased used in Sept of 2023. Shortly after the truck started suffering from Death Wobble. All steering tie rod ends (all 4), track bar shocks and steering stabilizer were replaced. Tires were rotated Ball joints were checked and were good. Truck still has death wobble. I'm sure this is why the truck was traded. Ford has declined to repair under tsb 18 2268 due to build date.

Driving at highway speed 65-70 mph, I drove across a rough patch of road. This rough patch was along a curve in the road. The truck from end violently vibrated, and it felt that I didn't have steers control of the vehicle. I lightly tapped the brakes and the vehicle began slowing down, while the truck drifted into the adjacent lane. The vibration continued until my speed dropped to approximately 35mph. It's was like the truck reached unstable resonate frequency. Initially, the vibration was some but grew violently quickly, and seem to continue to grow violently until I slowed the vehicle down. It wasn't a safe condition for me or other cars around me. Much less for the people in the truck who were shocked with fear. I'm traveling across country with an RV, I'm just lucky that the RV wasn't in tow at the time of the violent wobble. For what I read online, ford was aware of this hazard, and never shared this with me or the original owner. That is unacceptable.
