Truck started leaking fuel and then the engine shut down the next day it was drove, while driving! I’ve received 2 quotes and need the whole fuel system replaced due to CP4 pump failing which will cost about $13,000! This is the same issue as the 24S78 Ford recall but my truck doesn’t fall in the correct year! I still owe 10k on this vehicle so it’s basically totaled now.

Since the vehicle was purchased. It has experienced three incidences of the death wobble, which the vehicle was brought in for repairs, all under about 53,000 miles. First incident, the steering damper was replaced, second time just about all the front end was replaced at BOD ford in Lee Summit MO, and the third they said that they could duplicate and everything is tight, so they can't do anything (unique ford golfstown NH). I pull a travel trailer and this isn't safe. I experienced the death wobble even though they couldn't duplicate it. So, I'm seeking out another mechanic to assess. While on an incline with the front-end facing up-hill, in 2WD mode, the truck rolls backward after placed in "Park." The truck will continue rolling until application of the brakes. This happens every time. When in 4WD (H) mode, the truck does not roll when in "Park." This has occurred since we purchased the truck on 23 December 2024; however, until yesterday, we thought the truck was only sliding on our icy driveway. On 20 February 2025, we confirmed without a doubt that the truck is actually rolling while in "Park." To ensure the truck does not roll, after placing in "Park," we also apply the parking/emergency brake. This was reported to our local Ford dealer on 21 February 2025. A service appointment has been made.

- #11642999February 16, 2025TIRES
LT265/70R17, I received a recall notice from Amazon where I purchased a set of 4 tires. I only use these tires for winter driving and the notice states I should remove them immediately. They do not say for me to purchase new ones at the same time or if I will be reimbursed for any (all) cost. I still have around 70% of wear on them and am in the mid-winter season of McCall ID. I can't see any fault at this time and will keep trying to contact Prinx Chengshan Tire North America, INC. Notice: NHTSA CAMPAIGN # 24T014000.

Failure of the track bar bushings, failure of tie rod ends and failure of steering linkage dampers. This results in “death wobble” while driving at random speeds and contacting abnormal road surfaces. This results in the vehicle violently shaking and can lead to serious injury or death.

After receiving a repair for the failure of track bar bushing, steering linkage dampers and tie rod ends from the ford dealership, death wobble continues in my vehicle. This results in an almost $2000 fix. The vehicle violently shakes and could lead to serious injury or death.
