I kept smelling a burnt plastic smell. Eventually my driver side rear door did not lock. Upon inspection of the wiring the wire harness from the door to the truck showed the wires on the truck side had burned/melted the sheathing off the wires and leaving them exposed and touching.

•I was driving the truck from Houston to Dallas. I got a warning on the dash of reduced power and the check engine light came on. •Safety was somewhat of a concern because of reduced power while on the highway. Being able to get to my destination was in question as was keeping up with traffic. •The dealer quickly diagnosed the issue as a a failure of the CP4 high pressure fuel pump. This is a known and widespread issue with this truck and engine. •Truck has been inspected by the dealership. •There was no warning until the failure itself.

When shifting into drive from reverse it will shift very hard into drive. This happens about 4 times a month and it is very forceful. Suspension is very ruff. Very different from other Ford trucks I driven. Rear suspension makes a noise going over bumps and dips.

With 652 miles the vehicle initially went to the Ford Dealership due to pulling to the right on a straightaway road. It’s been back to two different dealerships on four more occasions and the vehicle still pulls hard to the right. Ford engineers have looked at it and the problem can’t be fixed. The vehicle now has 4,000 miles on it.

2010 F250 repeatably experienced violent shaking of the front wheels and steering at highway speeds (commonly referred to as "death wobble"). This shaking has been so violent that I had no control of the vehicle steering and had to abruptly brake and slow to a near stop in 75 mph traffic! Vehicle has 71K miles and has been very well maintained and garage kept (single owner). Substantial repairs have been made to replace steering dampener, track bar, drag link, and steering gear. Technician explained that all of these parts were severely damaged from the death wobble.
