Door Latches freeze in cold temps and prevent my doors from latching closed. I held an extended warranty on my vehicle and reported to my local dealership, but they would not repair since I could not replicate the issue after the fact. The newer models of my vehicle have this listed as a recall item, but they fail to recognize that the same thing is happening to my vehicle.

Harsh shifting especially from 7th to 8th gear. Delayed shifting which causes a problem cause of the truck slowing down while in motion. It puts me at risk of getting hit from behind when it does this. There's also a vibration that happens randomly while driving. It has started jerking forward upon start up

My truck only has 26000 miles and the transmission started acting very funny, shifting erratically, then it was stuck in 5th gear limp mode. There is some kind of bushing that comes loose in these 10 speed transmissions. It cost me $7597.48. And $150.00 towing.

An intermittent failure of the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor in the transmission. It downshifted while traveling over 45 MPH> The dashboard lights went away, and the transmission will only stay in first gear. Restarting the vehicle (sometimes multiple times), addresses the issue temporarily. safety recall 24S37 addresses the issue but my vehicle is not part of this recall.

The 10R80 transmission on the F150 has extremely erratic shifting, which occasionally results in delayed shifts or what feels like no acceleration when gas pedal is pressed. Turning left through oncoming traffic, I've had the transmission hesitate for moments before engaging, resulting in almost being hit by oncoming traffic. I've also had the delayed shifting AT SPEED cause the vehicle to temporarily slow down which almost resulted in being rear ended.

The transmission failed. It is available for inspection but the transmission was replaced at my cost. Traveling on the highway the vehicle bogged down and could not respond to pressing gas peddle. I had no control of the vehicle. All transpired on major highway Route 95. The problem repeated again while I was driving and it was identified by the independent service facility that the transmission failed. The vehicle was inspected by the repair facility and the fault was determined to be the failed transmission. New transmission was installed, we have all receipts. No warning lamps prior to the fault. The problem first appeared when I was traveling home on the highway from the facility I purchased the vehicle. after 1st incident the warning light appeared.

We have already filed a report regarding multiple unresolved warranty defects that Ford Motor Company has refused to address for over a year. Among these is a recurring fuel pump failure—an issue that has now occurred multiple times. The most recent incident happened just a couple of weeks ago in the Twin Cities after being told by our dealer that there was not an issue or fix for the fuel pump issue, where the truck stalled in active traffic, creating a situation that could have resulted in serious injury or worse, death! Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter, Ford’s latest response is unacceptable and has directly led to this additional complaint. We have been told that no action will be taken unless we personally drive this unsafe vehicle to a dealership for inspection. When we made it clear that doing so would put us at risk, we were dismissively told to have it towed if we were unwilling to drive it. Let us be absolutely clear: we will not endanger our lives to accommodate Ford’s refusal to honor its warranty obligations. We are being asked to operate a vehicle with known, unresolved defects that have already proven dangerous. This is not only irresponsible—it is indefensible. If this matter is not addressed immediately and appropriately, we will have no choice but to escalate further.

I was involved in a rear end collision where I was at fault. I suspect the ADAS in my 2024 F-150 malfunctioned because it did not prevent the collision. I impacted the rear of a minivan at approximately 20 mph. The ADAS did not take evasive action. Previously I have had nuisance activations of the visual and aural warnings for the pre-collision system, followed by a warning message that radar guided cruise control was not available.

Vehicle Information 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost VIN: [XXX] Complaint Description While driving approximately 70 mph on a highway, my 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost suddenly displayed a “Stop Safely Now” message and immediately lost propulsion. The engine shut down without warning while I was in active traffic. After the shutdown, the vehicle automatically shifted into park and would not allow me to shift into neutral. This left me unable to move the vehicle out of a live traffic lane. I was forced to shut the vehicle off while still in a dangerous roadway position. This incident created a serious safety hazard, as I was traveling at highway speed and could have been rear-ended due to the sudden loss of power and inability to move the vehicle. This issue appears to match Ford Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 23-2317, which describes “Stop Safely Now” warnings, no-start conditions, and gateway module (GWM) software faults. This indicates a known defect that can cause sudden loss of propulsion. A claim has already been opened with Ford Motor Company under case number [XXX], and the vehicle is currently at a Ford dealership for diagnosis. At this time, the issue has not been resolved. This failure occurred without warning and presents a significant risk to driver safety and others on the road. The digital dash cluster will randomly blank out while driving. After it sits for aboutba few hrs parked, it will turn back on just to repeat it down the road again. I tried bring it up with the dealership a few times and I was told they aren't able to replicate the issue and it's within factory spec. This is extremely dangerous since this creates issues of not knowing how fast the vehicle is going, and no indicators of what the truck is doing.
