Truck has 80,000 miles on it. For the last few thousand miles, the transmission has started to lurch during gear shifts from low speeds causing the vehicle to feel as if it is stalling out. Dealer states it is designed to do this, but due to power loss a collision is a possibility while trying to enter onto a highway with faster speeds. Dealer states the vehicle is learning the driver's driving behavior. After 80,000 miles the vehicle already has learned the driving behavior and there is something else taking place. The vehicle does not throw any warning codes when attaching an OSBII reader to the port. Taken to an independent shop and was told this is a known issue with the 10 speed transmission in the 2018 F-150 vehicles that Ford has not fixed until 2025 and up year models. This is a safety issue at the very least.

The linkage on the passenger side windshield wiper is known to seize from rust. Canada has a recall on this particular issue, but not America. I have had failing blades in heavy rain as a result.

While driving my 2013 F-150 the vehicle suddenly downshifts into 1st gear while driving in the city and remains there. At faster speeds the truck will downshift to 5th gear and remain there regardless of deceleration. This has been accompanied by a check engine light. The truck had the code P-0722. When this happens it is extremely unsafe and unpredictable. This causes an immediate and abrupt reduction in speed and a near-loss of vehicle control. This defect poses an unreasonable risk of a high-speed accident, especially when towing or on wet surfaces. A diagnostic scan at a Ford dealership confirmed the failure of the molded lead frame. The vehicle exhibited diagnostic trouble code P0722 which is the specific indicators for the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor and lead frame failure. These are the exact symptoms and codes identified in NHTSA Recall 26V237. Ford recently issued Recall 26S28 (NHTSA 26V237) on April 14, 2026, for this exact safety defect in later-model F-150s with the same 6R80 transmission. My 2013 vehicle is suffering from the identical root cause—degradation of electrical connections in the lead frame—yet Ford is currently refusing to provide a safety remedy at no cost, citing the age of the vehicle. This is a recurring safety-critical defect that mirrors the current 1.4-million-vehicle recall population. I have been having issues related to my transmission. It is similar to the issue with the current open recall where I jump back and forwardl. I had it inspected by a transmisson company, and they stated I needed a transmission overhaul possibly releated to the issue. Ford wants me to pay for a diagnostic fee. I thought they are supposed to pay for the repair for the recall.

2024 Ford F-150 Platinum PowerBoost Hybrid. Diagnostic codes for power steering loss and CAN bus communication faults documented at 337 miles, well within the 3-year/36,000-mile new vehicle warranty. The vehicle has been at a Ford dealer since March 10, 2026 for symptoms including the truck randomly turning off while driving and loss of power steering communication. As of this report, the truck has been at the dealer 58 days without resolution. Documented diagnostic findings include: Lost Communication with PSCM (U0131), SCP/J1850 Communications Bus Fault (U1028), permanent code P1A42 Propulsion System Status Signal Performance, hybrid-specific High Voltage System Interlock U3523-00, Steering Position Sensor P060A, no communication with Power Steering Control Module, intermittent PCM communication during self-tests, BCMC fuse 69 with no power, and circuit CBB69 with no voltage. A Ford Field Service Engineer was dispatched April 23, 2026. On April 24, 2026 the dealer located damaged wiring inside a harness behind the BCMC bracket. Prior to that, the dealer escalated through R&I of multiple modules (PSCM, PCM, BCMC, Gateway Module access) over 45 days without locating the actual cause. The vehicle is currently subject to NHTSA recall 26V104 / Ford 26C10 (Trailer Module loss of communication at startup) issued 3/18/2026, status Recall Incomplete. The recall describes the same general failure mode (module communication loss at startup) the customer has been experiencing. Power steering loss while driving is a serious safety concern, particularly given the vehicle's hybrid drivetrain and CAN-bus-dependent safety systems.

Truck fails to accelerate when transmission is in second gear, travelling at low speed (typically under 10 MPH) and at low RPMs (typically ~1,500). Regardless of amount of pressure applied to accelerator, the truck will remain at low RPM and speed for up to 10 seconds. This problem occurs frequently and has been reproduced by a Ford dealer. Ford TSB 25-2302 describes this problem, but in my case a DTC is not present. Because a DTC is not present, the Ford dealer refuses to proceed with corrective actions as outlined in TSB without charging me for diagnostics and labor, although the truck is still under warranty. Failure to accelerate puts me and others at risk when attempting to merge, when accelerating in slow traffic conditions, etc.

I was driving my 2022 F150 during the 5/5/2026 Northern Colorado blizzard home to Nebraska with Slippery mode selected on Drive Train Selector and the truck started violently rattling and seized, causing catastrophic drivetrain failure with loss of power and perceptible steering control. I immediately pulled off I80 near my fueling stop destination and turned off the truck. I opened the hood to vent smoke and assess for fire. Once fire was not an issue, I started the ignition sequence to view any warning lights before starting motor. There were no warning lights or sensors indicating loss of fluids or abnormal temperatures noted in oil or transmission. The motor started and then I tried shifting through the transmission. It would engage but not move forward in any of the Drive Train Selector settings. I could travel in reverse and place in neutral, but I could not manually move forward or back when I pushed. I called Ford Roadside Assistance for towing and was flat-bedded to Sterling Korf Ford where catastrophic front end differential and assembly was noted. I had an experience leaving my work parking lot 2/27/2026, and have a malfunction warning on my vehicle phone app. That event was corrected by stopping and rotating through the Drive Train Selector switch out of 4x4 to 2H. I had 100K mile full service at Greeley, CO, Ford in July 2025 with all fluids flushed and filled and multipoint inspection. I feel this is a mechanical design flaw in the Integrated Wheel End (IWE). And with no dashboard warning to hint at impending catastrophic failure, this warrants immediate recall notice. I was fortunate not to be in heavy traffic when catastrophic failure happened, otherwise an accident would have occurred. I am a [XXX] career Emergency Physician and have enough experience to know when there is a system failure and a near miss. This is not an isolated human event leading to a sentinel event, but a system failure that must be fixed before lives are lost. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF

I'm having problems with my transmission and I just recently found out that there's a recall on it that Ford still hasn't come up with a resolve to it I never got a letter about this recall I just happened to find out by running my own VIN number I took it to the dealer a couple days ago and they're telling me I need to hold him to transmission even though this recall hasn't been addressed yet it's been 10 years since I bought this truck and there's still an open recall for it what if this recall issue is the reason why my transmission is failing Ford is just trying to pass me off as nothing and getting me to spend $8,000 on a new transmission please help

1)Brakes were changed, rotors and pads. Brakes were bled 3 times and it still does not stop correctly. Even when the brakaes are on, it releases itself. 2)Truck keeps shuddering and loosing power. 3Electronics will not stay bluetoothed and it connects and disconnects all by itself all the time. Appears there are recalls on these 3 issues.
