2018 Ford F-150 with transmission problem. 10 Gears- jerking and pause between automatic shifting of gears, down shifting. Brought to Ford- needs a complete transmission. This truck has 75,000 miles and is not "Built Ford Tough". Ford tells me this is not a recall and denied my claim. This is a safety issue and is a big, known problem for Ford. The dealership is replacing 6 of them per week that are not part of a recall. This should be a recall. Shame on Ford Motors.

My trucks rear light bar was repaired under the NHTSA recall 23S30. This was done in 2023 but Ford's repair did not fix the issue and the light bar continues to allow moisture in and thus the light does not work. I currently have the truck being diagnosed by Hertrich Ford of Elkton in Elkton Maryland and a case number with Ford regarding the issue. The caes number is [XXX]. SYNC seems to return to factory setting at every start and I need to answer the same series of initial questions to access it. It dumps all of my saved preferences when I turn the truck off. It freezes, particularly when I try a manual soft reboot. Back up camera comes on while I'm driving. I don't have access to audio, navigation, or hands free support.

Vertical headlight seems to have burned out on both sides after reading online and couple forms. It seems to be a common issue and Ford should be held accountable.

My gear shifter was sticking, making hard to shift gears. I had to pay $1100. 00 dollars to get it fixed. The truck has only 37,000 miles. This seems like a defect not a random component gone bad.

I was parked in a parking lot when I heard a crack sound. I looked down and my steering wheel had a crack around the Ford emblem large enough that the part of the air bag could be seen. The truck is kept in a climate controlled garage and this incident happened when it was not hot out. I have contacted Ford and they have said that it is not a safety concern. I feel like this is a safety concern if the steering wheel can crack and I can see my air bag without there being any form of collision or contact with the air bag or the steering wheel at the time.

While traveling at highway speeds, my truck will downshift from 6th gear to first gear. On occasion, the heads up display will randomly flash between different driving modes (reverse, M, Neutral) as if it is resetting. This also happens at medium speeds (20-30 mph)

I was driving on [XXX] in Dallas when the top track that holds the rear sliding window became detached from the inside of the truck, causing the sliding glass window to fall forward and into the vehicle. This window falling created a void causing me to have to pull over and repair it the best I could. I have since learned that Ford used double sided tape and a small amount of adhesive to attach the track to the vehicle. I have also learned that this is a very common problem with this window track system. My truck is being inspected by Ford this morning, but I was told that there are no active recalls for this defect. There was no advance warning for this window failure. The 10-speed transmission downshifted from 10th gear to 1st gear, and then back into 10th again. This sequence happened 3 times in a row, with the 3rd causing a service light to be displayed. This occurred while on the highway with cruise control set at 75mph. The truck is available for inspection upon request. This transmission malfunction caused an abrupt and rapid deceleration, as well as, a loud clunk and temporary lockup of the rear end. The deceleration and loss of power had the potential to cause an accident with cars around me, or a loss of control from the rear end. There are an overwhelming amount of reports of this same issue online, as well as, numerous at the dealership. My truck has been to the dealership and they are claiming it is due to overfilling of transmission fluid during my recent transmission rebuild.
