Fords around the 2017 year have an issue with their backup cameras not working which is the issue mine is having. When putting truck in reverse backup camera is fully fuzzy with green lines or just goes fully back. It still beeps and can detect something close, but the actual camera doesn't work anymore.

The long block has failed This has caused the vehicle not to allow for accelleration and have significant power loss. Yes this has been confirmed by the dealer. It has not been inspected by the manufacturer at this time. Two days before I took my trunk into the dealer for service, the service engine light came on. I parked my truck and did not drive it til I called the dealership. They told me to drive the truck slowly to their service department. I drove my truck to them after confirming it was ok. They are 6 miles from my home

Transmission failed. Pulling into traffic the transmission failed to shift from first gear into second, instead not going into any gear at all, putting my entire family at risk of being struck by oncoming traffic! Engine revved and truck would not move. Then suddenly shifts into third gear jerking violently. Currently in shop for transmission replacement. After a bit of research I found that this is a common issue with the transmission.

Walmart Auto Center installed the incorrect tire size 255/70R17 on my factory setup with factory wheels. Westlake SU318 All Season 255/70R17 112T SUV/crossover tires were installed in place of the correct size 245/70R17 tires. Walmart is refusing to fix my truck and I had the brake lines blow out 3 weeks after installing the tires. I am a current threat to the public and myself driving with these incorrect tires. Walmart will not replace the tires. Walmart is attempting to coverup this by not providing the information to carfax. I have submitted a carfax update case#XXX. The transmission will downshifting and the transmission starts jerking then the engine starts missing for about 30 seconds to a minute but the ford dealership said it's not showing any codes so it's not happening now I can't get it fixed they didn't think having a vehicle that starts missing for no reason isn't a problem but the torque converter won't throw codes and it's attached directly to the crankshaft so it's messing with the engine to get it to start missing

The drive keys fall out of the wiper arm heads which will cause the wiper arms to perform erratically and eventually lead to the wiper arms to become separated from the vehicle. I found the key lying in the cowl vent grill. Ford currently has a recall on this for other vehicles however it needs to expand the recall to include more vehicles including the 2023 F150 Lightning. The Safety Recall number is 22S26.

Driving 70 mph on highway. Transmission suddenly downshifted from 6th to 5th. Cruise control turned off. Speedometer went to 0 mph. Airbag warning light came on. Wrench indicator flashed. From this point on, transmission would only use gears 3,4,5. Speedometer continued to read 0. Cruise control remained inoperative and Airbag warning light remained on. Wrench indicator turned off after a few minutes. Was able to limp home, but truck had difficulty pulling out from stoplights and stop signs due to not being able to shift below 3rd gear. After shutting off ignition and restarting. Operation returned to normal.

Vehicle was sitting in driveway running. I turned on the front and rear defroster to clear windows before driving. Approximately 60 seconds after turning on rear defroster, the back window shattered. Multiple reports online indicate this is a common occurrence in F-150 and should be looked into further.

Ford doesn’t want the fix the problem because my vin number is not on the list. Yet, there have been recalls for 2020 Ford F-150s related to the emissions system, including a recall for the 2.7L EcoBoost engine's catalytic converters, which requires a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) reprogramming, and another related to a loose battery cable that could cause stalling, fire, and other malfunctions. Catalytic converter recall (24E12) Who is affected: 2018–2020 F-150 models with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine. : The recall addresses inaccuracies in the catalytic converters' effectiveness. The primary fix is reprogramming the PCM to more accurately detect issues, which might trigger a check engine light if the converter is faulty.
