SummaryFlash: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the TCM with the latest available software. Customers may comment on one or more of the following: Harsh shifts. Poor shift quality, with light pedal.(Sales Codes ETM and ETN Only). Poor shift quality, 32-48 kph (20-30 mph), at low rpm with light to medium pedal apply, typically tipping in from zero pedal.(Sales Codes ETM and ETN Only). Coasting shift bump with exhaust brake and/or tow/haul active.(Sales Codes ETM and ETN Only). Poor shift quality, often when increasing pedal during a shift.(Sales Code ESB Only). Squawk/chirp/squeak type noise during a 3-4 upshift.(D2 Only). Poor 1-2 upshift quality.(D2 with ETM or DD/DP with Sales Code ESB Only). When decelerating from a 1 to 2 gear shift, the vehicle may have a harshshift. From a 1 to 2 gear change there may be a perceived bump feeling, whilehaving a light pedal(Sales Codes ETL and ETN Only). A harsh shift from a 2 to 3 gear shift while at almost or wide openthrottle. A harsh shift from a 3 to 4 shift and heavy on the pedal, lifting offthe pedal, then back on the pedal again. While coasting down a grade, an abrupt deceleration may be felt. A clunk heard when shifting from park to reverse or drive. Cold engine flare during a shift. A delay when coasting down, vehicle is in a downshift at low speedsand then trying to accelerate. (The vehicle will have a hesitation as the vehicle tries to change gears to accommodate the new pedaldemand). Excessive shifting(DD and DP Only). Engine flare caused by the transmission releasing the clutch too early duringa 1 to 2 shift.

The radio software will be updated from R141.01.12, 139.01.53, 136.10.04 to R145.00.15. The national launch for the FOTA is expected to begin August 19, 2022. Customers may experience one or more of the following: Screen Lockup, Slow Response (rear view camera still operable). Caller cannot hear the driver and/or driver cannot hear the caller. Cannot switch stations after a call, lockup due to the phone remaining on the call. Radio displays ?Code Error? or ?Lockup In Accessory Mode?. Display shows a black screen on start up (rear view camera still operable). SXM® presets are lost for all profiles. SXM® has no volume and stuck on channel. Radio does not allow BUS to go to sleep. Android® auto not connecting on vehicle start up. When radio is in light theme mode and in audio Balance/Fade menu, it is hard to see the position icon. Black on black coloring. Black out on SXM® after switching Profiles. During connecting phone radio does not handle audio source correctly when making a phone call using. Climate buttons out of place and move to settle in correct location. In the shortcuts menu pulled down from the status bar, the right side arrow is highlighted as if it can be selected. Presets with "Hold to Save"" numbered above 9 have text cutoff. Profile edit not allowed while in movement for "Memory Seat". While switching between Driver Profiles, Phone Notification Volume pops up. Inconsistently Siri® assistance. Compass does not work. Wireless device echo. Satellite antenna error message. Display flickers before SXM® background displayed. Radio "home" screen background is theme 1 background when Theme 2, theme 3 or theme 4 is selected.
