  2014-2016 ROGUE; ROUGH IDLE ON START UP IF YOU CONFIRM Under the conditions listed below, when the engine is started it runs rough (rough idle) for a few seconds, and then will idle normally: - Ambient temperature is between 25°F and 45°F (-4°C - 7°C). - The engine has been OFF (not running) long enough for the engine be to close to the same temperature as the ambient temperature (about 6 hours). NOTE: This bulletin does not apply to the following issues: - Engine does not start. - Engine has a long crank time before starting. ACTION 1. Refer to step 6 in the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on. 2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the ECM.

IF YOU CONFIRM After the vehicle has been shifted into Park (P), the ignition switch is OFF and the doors are closed: - P indicator light (Figure 1) on the shift assembly does not go OFF after 5 minutes. And - Applied VIN begins with ?JN8?. ACTION - Adjust the key interlock cable. NOTE: Nissan vehicle warranty does not cover incidents due to lack of vehicle maintenance and/or physical damage.
