  Left Hand Engine Mounting Insulator Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to inspect and, if necessary, replace the left hand (LH) engine-mounting insulator. On some of the affected vehicles, the LH engine-mounting insulator may have been manufactured out of specification, and could break. To help prevent this from occurring, Nissan will inspect the LH engine-mounting insulator and replace it if needed at no cost to the customer for parts and labor. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC601. 2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information 3. Dealers should use NTB18-002 to inspect and, if necessary, remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

  VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2016-2017 ROGUE; LEFT HAND ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this Voluntary Service Campaign on certain specific model year 2016 and 2017 Rogue vehicles. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC601 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealer?s responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

  Key Fob Voluntary Service Campaign This bulletin applies to vehicles with trim levels of SV and SL only. Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign on approximately 50,944 model year 2017 Nissan Rogue SV and SL trim level vehicles. Nissan has discovered that the I-Key fob may be missing the FCC ID label required by the Federal Communications Commission. To correct this condition, Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to provide customers with two FCC ID labels (included with the owner letter) that can be easily affixed to each I-Key fob for your 2017 Rogue. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. No dealer action is necessary for this Voluntary Service Campaign. 2. If a customer has a notification letter, but has lost or damaged the two (2) FCC ID labels, replacement labels can be acquired by sending an email to [email protected] - Dealers should specify: - PC593 ? I-Key Fob Labels Required (in title of email) - Customer VIN - I-Key fob part number - Name and address to send the new labels to NOTE: SERVICE COMM will not be active for this campaign.

SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing or adding an Intelligent Key of an Applied Vehicle: 1. ALWAYS initialize/register the original Intelligent Key(s) BEFORE attempting to initialize/register a new one. 2. Confirm the Intelligent Key is correct for the vehicle being worked on. - The last five digits of the Intelligent Key?s part number is printed on the back behind the mechanical key. If a ?new? Intelligent Key will not initialize/register, go to page 2 to determine if the ?new? Intelligent Key has been previously initialized/registered to another vehicle. NOTE: Once a new Intelligent Key has been initialized/registered to a vehicle, it can be reinitialized/reregistered as many times as needed to the same vehicle.

SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing or adding an Intelligent Key, it is very important to make sure the correct Intelligent Key is selected from the parts department. - A running change was made that will help identify the correct Intelligent Key. - Beginning in late 2017 and early 2018 the last five digits of the Intelligent Key part number is marked on the Intelligent Key under the mechanical key. - See page 2 for location images of this part number addition. NOTE: - A correct Intelligent Key may or may not have the last five digits of the part number as shown on page 2. - The above running change was applied as a ?help? to identify the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle, but the actual part number listed in the parts catalog did not change. - Make sure to use the electronic parts catalog (FAST) or equivalent to confirm the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle.

  2018 ROGUE; NEXT GENERATION NISSANCONNECT OVER THE AIR UPDATE FEATURE SERVICE INFORMATION The next generation NissanConnect now has the ability to update its system?s software through a Wi-Fi connection. These updates can now be applied by the customer, using their home Wi-Fi network, without the vehicle having to return to the dealer. Updates allow the customer to take advantage of: - New features as they become available - Continuous quality and performance improvements In some cases the customer may not have access to a secured WiFi network and will need to return to the dealer to perform any available updates. The Service Procedure in this bulletin contains the instructions to perform updates via a Wi-Fi connection. IMPORTANT: - To update the software by Wi-Fi the vehicle must be within range and connected to a secure Wi-Fi network. - A password protected Wi-Fi network with WPA2 security is required to secure the update download. WARNING: During the update process, the vehicle should be kept in a well-ventilated area to avoid the exposure to Carbon Monoxide. Do not breathe exhaust gases; they contain colorless and odorless carbon monoxide. Carbon Monoxide is dangerous. It can cause unconsciousness or death. NOTE: When diagnosing a NissanConnect issue, always confirm that the latest available software is installed in the AV unit before starting a diagnosis.
