SummaryIn our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to enhance the satisfaction of our customers, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is extending the coverage for the Fuel System Control Module (FSCM) software on your vehicle from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 years / 50,000 miles to 1 S year: / 150,000 mile: (whichever occurs: first), and applies to the vehicle regardless of ownership. Why the warranty extension? On certain Model Year 2019 - 2021 A/CLA/ GLA/GLB/ GLE and GLS-Class vehicles, the FSCM software for the fuel pressure sensor and temperature plausibility checks may not meet specifications. As a result, the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp ('MIL') might illuminate. Any repair: under this warranty extension must be performed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. If your preferred authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership performs a diagnosis and confirms that your vehicle has the issue, the repair will be performed at no cost to you. This extended warranty does not apply to any other components or conditions beyond the ones mentioned above, and standard warranty terms apply, including the exclusions with respect to extra expenses, as identified in the Service and Warranty Information booklet. We hope you are enjoying your Mercedes-Benz vehicle and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

SummaryIn our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to enhance the satisfaction of our customers, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC ("MBUSA") is extending the warranty coverage on the HV Refrigerant Compressor & Condenser in certain Model Year ("MY") vehicles listed below from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 years/50,000 miles to 15 years/150,000 miles, whichever occurs first, due to the following condition: The copper wire winding in the HV refrigerant compressor might corrode over time and could cause the battery management system to diagnose a lower insulation resistance leading to an insulation error. Due to the physical connection of the HV refrigerant compressor to the HV electrical system, the insulation error would trigger a fault in the entire HV electrical system. A warning message may be displayed (e.g., battery symbol with text malfunction, without restarting engine - visit workshop, towing prohibited see owner's manual) in the instrument cluster. Both electric and combustion engine driving is possible. However, if the driver ignores the visit workshop without restarting a message and switches off the vehicle, it would no longer be able to start.

Deactivate the vehicle key (a successful deactivation is indicated by the LED lighting up 2x briefly and then 1x for a long period). 4. Place the vehicle key on the key symbol in the storage compartment and then switch on the ignition. All other vehicle keys must be outside of the vehicle when doing this! Perform steps 3 and 4 successively for all vehicle keys. Notes: 6th, 7th and 8th generation keys can be deactivated as follows: Up to modification year 22/1, by double-clicking on the locking button

SummaryNoises in the steering column area when steering. Under analysis. Check which area of the steering column the noises occur in. Do the noises tend to occur at the bottom in the driver footwell or do they tend to occur in the area of the steering column switch module (MRSM/SCCM)? If the noises occur in the area of the MRSM/SCCM, work through the following points: - Loosen screws of the MRSM/SCCM and steering wheel, re-align the MRSM/SCCM, and re-fasten the screws (see WIS). Sometimes there is stress at the MRSM/SCCM and noises occur. - If noises continue to occur, swap the MRSM/SCCM into a vehicle without any (noise) complaints. - If the noises occur with the MRSM/SCCM complained about when it is in the vehicle without a complaint (donor vehicle), the MRSM/SCCM can be replaced. - If noises also occur in the customer vehicle with the MRSM/SCCM from the reference vehicle, the MRSM/SCCM is not the cause and must not be replaced. Notes: - When installing the MRSM/SCCM, make sure that no damage occurs! - Only disassemble and mount all component parts in the "straight-ahead position" (see also WIS). - Please refer to this LI in the "Notes" section of the warranty claim!
