SummaryMercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2022-2025 GLE/GLS (167 platform), EQB (243 platform), GLA (247 platform), EQE (294 platform), EQS (296 platform), and GLC (254 platform) vehicles, the B-pillar certification label might not contain the vehicle’s rim size, tire size, and cold tire inflation pressure information as required by FMVSS 110. In this case, relevant regulatory requirements might not be met. Mercedes-Benz believes this issue has no impact on vehicle safety. Mercedes-Benz intends to submit a petition to NHTSA for exemption from the notification and remedy requirements of 49 U.S.C. chapter 301, pursuant to 49 CFR Part 556, on the basis that this noncompliance is inconsequential as it relates to motor vehicle safety. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign to remedy new vehicles in dealer inventory. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will replace the certification label on the B-Pillar.

SummaryComplaint 1. Cracking noises from the area of the rear axle 2. or a message in the instrument cluster "ESP, ABS failed". Cause Anti-cracking disk at the external joint of the side shaft at the rear axle is broken. Remedy • Customer complaint due to noises: • A test drive must be performed. For a precise noise analysis (localization of the noise), make use of the NVH/PICO. If the joint of the side shaft can be clearly identified as the cause (source of the noise), the following work must be performed: 1. Remove the side shaft, check the anti-cracking disk, and remove the anti-cracking disk if it is broken, 2. then process the external joint as per LI35.30-P-058566 and reinstall the side shaft. After the processing is complete, an anti-cracking disk is no longer required. • Customer complaint due to display message "ESP, ABS failed" in the instrument cluster: • Read out the fault memory; if a rotational speed sensor of the rear axle is stored in the fault memory, the following work must be performed: 1. Check the rotational speed sensor of the affected side for damage and replace if necessary. 2. Remove the side shaft, check the anti-cracking disk, and remove the anti-cracking disk if it is broken, 3. then process the external joint as per LI35.30-P-058566 and reinstall the side shaft. After the processing is complete, an anti-cracking disk is no longer required. Note: It is not necessary to replace the side shaft.

SummaryHigh-frequency interference noise may be heard from the speakers while driving. This complaint only occurs when "voice amplification" is active. Coupling noise of microphone signal in voice amplification. Intermediate remedy: The interference noise can be remedied by deactivating voice amplification: "Home" -> "Settings" -> "System" -> "Audio" and de-select "Voice amplification to rear" to switch off the function (see attachment). Note: To activate or deactivate the function, the ignition must be switched on, seat belts (at rear and front) must be fitted and the doors, windows and roof must be closed. Permanent solution: Perform software update of MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) to E419.5 (available from 06/19) or greater. Deactivate the ‘voice amplification’ feature. Inform customer of function and effects of additional sounds caused by driving over bumps or uneven road surfaces.
