ENGINE
My car started having an oil leak on [XXX] of 2023 which is the date reported to Mark Martin Kia. They replaced the oil pan on [XXX] 2024 and said that the issue was fixed. I drove it home, and the next day oil was still coming from my engine. I took it back and they said that the housing was what was leaking. The tech told me that 10k parts were on backorder so I'd have to keep putting oil in until the part arrives. Over a month went by of me having to pour oil in. [XXX] was when they fixed it. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Driver's side door will lose power while in park or while driving. This causes the locks to not work and windows (driver's and passenger's) will not go up or down. The mirrors will not fold in. Lights on the door goes out. Controls goes completely unresponsible.

SEATS, STEERING
I have 2 problems. The first is that my rear seats lift and move. This has been a problem since I purchased the vehicle. However I'm just reporting the issue because my grandson was injured while in his booster seat. The seat had automatically deployed and moved forward by itself 2x causing my grandson to be smashed into the passenger seat and restrained tightly by the seat belt. The back of the sear folds forward and the entire seat moves forward. Both rear seats does this. I have had incidents where my grocery would fly forward while driving because the seat had deployed. My 2nd issue is that the sensor on the steering wheel has always have issues with detecting hands on the steering wheel. I get warnings while driving to place my hands on the steering wheel. Both hands are on the wheel. However is the only certain places on the steering wheel that detects your hands?

The contact owns a 2024 Kia Telluride. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V077000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

SUSPENSION
. Cannot drive the vehicle because the rear end bounces up and down and side to side violently making it difficult to control ehile driving. Kia dealership said rear shock absorbers need replacement and Kia warranty does not cover $1800 repair. Kia dealer said this has happened previously. There are many comments on the internet from other Kia Telluride owners about the same problem. I opened a case with Kia Motor Company requesting they cover a portion of the repair given the numerous online complaints, and the obvious safety risks. They refused. Kia is clearly installing defective parts on this vehicle.

The A/C system failed due to either corrosion or leaking at a fitting(Dealer has told us two different things). This is a 2020 car with a little over 100k miles, there is no reason for a failure due to corrosion or due to a leaking fitting. This is poor assembly, faulty factory parts, or faulty design. The Coolant used (1234yf) is flammable and could pose a safety hazard when it leaks. Photo attached that dealer provided for leak location.

SUSPENSION
The car suspension is not working properly and the car has becoming very bouncy-even on highway. Not sure if it is too hard or too soft, but issues start when it is about 24,000 miles. Changing driving mode made no difference. Besides being uncomfortable, it is very distracting. to the driver.

Vehicle's paint located on the front of the hood and top of roof close to the front windshield has started to delaminate and peel away. The dealer said the vehicle is out of warranty for paint concerns. I know this is a large problem from Kia/Hyundia white vehicles. My son's 2015 Sonata, daughter's 2012 Sorento and now my wife's 2020 Telluride! All thease vehicles are white and all are peel or have been peeling for some time. I just want to get my wife's Telluride repaint to be paid for by Kia since they know this is a know problems and have fixed others.

The instrument cluster randomly turns off while driving which renders many safety features, including but not limited to the backup camera, inoperable. This issue was repaired by my dealer in mid 2023 when it was part of a recall. The problem seems to have been recently reintroduced possibly via an over the air software update.

[XXX] Driving down [XXX] towards Jackson, MS, a fine line crack appeared in windshield approximately 6 inches up from the dash starting at pillar on driver side of windshield with a small peck less than a 1/4 inch about 1 inch from the pillar and extending horizontally approximately 4 inches across the windshield. By the time we arrived in Jackson the crack extended 12" across. By the time we arrived back home the crack was approximately 16" across. We never saw or heard anything related to the crack until we noticed it. This was first trip in the car since engine was replaced under SC296 recall. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
This vehicle was purchased back in July 2023. On multiple occasions since then, the Automatic Emergency Braking system has activated and slammed on the brakes when not needed. There have been no other cars, animals or other hazards to cause it to do so. Very dangerous that this keeps happening. Most recent and worse incident was yesterday(5/16/24). It is going to the dealer for service today. It's still under warranty and has approximately 55000 miles on it. Kia customer service help line showed little concern over incidents. We'll see what happens at the dealership today when I take it in.

On Tuesday, May 14th, the sunroof on my 2020 Kia Telluride broke and is now stuck in the open position. Despite forums indicating that this is a common issue with this vehicle, Kia refuses to cover the repair. This is the first time I've purchased a new vehicle and faced a major repair before paying it off. The sunroof problem is clearly an issue with Kia, yet they are not offering any assistance for this $3,500 repair on a car that is less than five years old with minimal sunroof use. I believe a recall is warranted, and customers should not have to bear the cost of this failure. It's disappointing that Kia is living up to a negative reputation that I thought they were trying to move away from. If I have to pay for this major repair, which is due to a flaw and not my usage, this will be my first and last Kia purchase.

Sunroof guide/rail plastic piece broke upon opening and will not close. Sunroof is now stuck open. Dealer claimed entire sunroof needs to be replaced. Vehicle cannot be driven as sunroof glass feels like it'll pop off. No warning at all when it happened. Sunroof was open when driving and when we got home and parked it, it would not close and visibly confirmed the plastic part of the guide appeared broken.

WHEELS, SUSPENSION
The rear shock is leaking/bad. My car only has 30K miles. It caused my wheels to wear unevenly, which could have led me and my family to have a car accident if a wheel popped while driving. An independent service center has confirmed this when the vehicle failed inspection. No warning of the issue.
