My passenger coil spring fell out while coming out of my driveway and could of seriously hurt someone else or myself it fell out while I was driving. Chrysler wanted to charge us an arm and a leg to put it back in, so I put it back in myself.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Seems to be electrical / speaker related (forums state its the noise canceling system) This is a safety issue as around 20% of the time at cold start the car emits an extremely loud booming base sound that lasts 20-30 seconds. Despite only happening at startup anything that can impair a drivers senses is extremely dangerous as it impacts the driver and anything with noise happening around them. The problem has not been able to be reproduced by a dealer and they also wont incorporate the TSB unless it can be. Link below to reddit thread and a youtube video of the well known issue. ENGINE
I was driving my vehicle home after a nearby out of town errand. I was on US-95 between Potlatch ID and Moscow ID which is a very hilly, curvy 2-lane 60mph highway with little to no cell service. As I ascended my first big hill, my engine light came on flashing and the ride became noticeably bumpy. I could not call anyone for many miles yet, so I put on my safety hazards and continued driving, hoping to make it to town. With each hill my car became more unstable and seemed to be struggling to accelerate. Once I had cell service just outside of Moscow I called my husband to tell him what was happening, where I was at and proceeded to head to an auto repair shop. Once I drove into Moscow, my car was incredibly shaky and noisy and the engine seemed to struggle to stay engaged at stop lights. I brought it to Hive auto repair and they told me that my engine was misfiring, but that they would run a level 1 diagnostic that day. When they called with the results, they confirmed the following information: Scanned for DTCs and found P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected. On this 3.6L engine, Cylinder 1 is located beneath the intake manifold, requiring intake removal for further access and testing.-- I continued to level 2 inspection and removal of the manifold which showed significant problems within the engine at Cylinder Head 1. There was oil intrusion and low compression, consistent with warping of the head. They said that this was a known issue with this engine on Stellantis vehicles because of an EGR valve on cylinder 1 2018/2022. Even though I had my Jeep regularly serviced at McGee Jeep in Barre VT, they never tested for this because it wasn't recommended or in the scheduled maintenance. But when I spoke with them they confirmed this is a known issue. I understand it is a severe, dangerous and expensive repair, but usually occurs after the warranty expires. I now have an unsafe, undriveable vehicle with a $14k repair pending.

From the beginning of ownership, this vehicle has experienced repeated infotainment and system failures that directly impact driver safety, including: The infotainment screen pixelating, freezing, and restarting while the vehicle is in motion A documented incident where the system emitted a loud noise for over 30 seconds before restarting Screen restarts while backing up, preventing the rearview camera from displaying System restarts during active phone calls and GPS navigation The issue occurring regardless of device type, after testing multiple Android and Apple phones Most critically, during a recent incident while driving, the screen restarted and the transmission unexpectedly shifted into manual mode These failures are consistent, repeatable, and documented through photos and video evidence, which I have provided to the dealership. Despite this, I have repeatedly been told that “no issues were found,” even though the problems persist and continue to worsen. A vehicle system restarting while driving—especially when it disables safety features like the rear camera or affects drivetrain behavior—constitutes a serious safety hazard. I no longer feel safe operating this vehicle, and my confidence in its reliability has been completely undermined.

Touch screen display "blacks" out. Screen goes completely blank for a few moments then returns to normal. Has been ongoing for a few years but dealership can't find anything wrong. Now it happened while I reversing so I couldn't use/see back up camera angle. Other similar jeep models made the recall but not mine.

Component/System: Windshield/visibility system and possible body sealing or A-pillar water intrusion affecting interior and defrost performance. The condition is available for inspection upon request. Description of the problem and safety risk: I purchased a new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude. Within months of purchase, the vehicle began experiencing water intrusion inside the cabin, which has led to persistent interior moisture, fogging, and mildew odor despite multiple repair attempts over the past year. A significant safety concern occurs while driving: the interior of the windshield can fog or condensate suddenly and heavily enough to reduce forward visibility. When this happens, I must slow down and consider pulling over until visibility clears. The condition typically resolves within approximately 1–2 minutes but has occurred repeatedly during normal driving. Loss of clear windshield visibility while the vehicle is in motion creates a potential driving hazard for myself, my child passenger, and other motorists. Reproduction/confirmation: The condition has been reported to and evaluated by an authorized Jeep dealership during multiple service visits. Repairs have been attempted, including extensive interior disassembly to locate a water leak, but the problem has persisted. Inspection by manufacturer or others: The dealership and Stellantis (manufacturer) have been involved through warranty repair attempts and case review. An independent evaluation is being pursued to determine the root cause. Warning lamps or prior symptoms: No warning lamps or electronic messages appeared prior to the visibility impairment. Symptoms include interior moisture accumulation, mildew odor, and intermittent heavy windshield condensation while driving.

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. While the contact's wife was parking the vehicle, the gear shifter was shifted to park(P), and the engine revved very high. No warning lights were illuminated. The failure had occurred three times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated, but the failure reoccurred. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle independently accelerated, and the contact slammed on the brake pedal to slow the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was turned off, but could be restarted independently. The contact stated that the failure was a persistent failure. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact was informed that there were no fault codes retrieved. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 12,500.

To whom it concern,I bought this jeep grand cherokee overland in December of 2025,for mandal Buick-gmc 11290 mandal pkwy D'lberville,ms 39540,so I drove the jeep to my son house on the way there it just stop pulling going down the highway, we made it back to our daughter house Sunday night,monday morning we got ready to come home to stakville jeep wouldn't move suspension on the back just popping,rpm up to 6000 twisting button from neutral to drive finally got truck to move and we made it home took truck to Parker McGill thes did diagnostic test found nothing,I pick my truck up,Friday pick grandbaby fron school,in traffic truck stop pulling again wouldn't move,twisted button from neutral to drive,finally got truck to move took it back to Parker McGill february 2,2026 this is very unsafety,I'm afraid me and my family is going to get hurt or killed in an accident,this truck is shutting down in traffic on the highway,at 22 miles per hour the rpm went up to 6000,truck wouldn't move,this is a safety hazzard,and I'm really scared with this truck itjust stop while we driveing down the highway God be the glory for keeping us safe thanks for letting me do this report God Bless [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

When driveing the jeep it just stop pulling,just driveing in traffic I'm so scared we gonna get Hurt or killed,drove jeep to my daughter house,spent the night next morning getting ready to leave truck wouldn't move,suspension just popped so loud,we kept twisting the button to neutral to drive,before the jeep will move again got on the highway going down highway jeep stop pulling again I just bought this truck in December of 2025,taken it to Parker McGill in starkville twice,they can't find nothing wrong when traveling.and the truck go over 6000rpm will not move,this dangerous on the highway,for my family,im really scared,this is a safety issue,

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Forward collision warning system not working. Light on dashboard says system disabled. Paddle shifters also disabled. Temperature readings in metrics and language keeps changing. This is available for inspection if needed. We bought this car because of the collision warning and braking system safety features and none of them work. This puts our safety at risk. The dealer has updated the system but unfortunately it was only a temporary fix. The jeep dealer confirmed the issue and states there is no permanent fix for the issues. It first appeared in July and has been ongoing.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays will switch into a language I do not speak or understand (Italian). Coinciding with the switch to Italian language, cluster and radio display settings revert back to default settings, auto door locks and paddle shifter becomes inoperative (with no menu to enable), pedestrian emergency brake (peb) lamp or forward collision warning (fcw) lamp turns on with no way to disable, units of measurement including speed, temperature, etc. all change, and many other random settings change as well. ***This is clearly a dangerous situation because of all the functions and gauges that change, and the fact it is difficult if not impossible to recover from this due to the language of the setting menus, and the complexity of discovering and navigating through all these changes. I have taken it to the dealer twice, and they say there is nothing they can do and to wait for a possible software update, but none has come and it has been over a year. When this happens, even if one is able to wade through all the settings menus and change setting back, some items cannot be reset (like the FCA off lamp). According to various Jeep owner forums, some dealers have been able to reset something and temporarily correct the issue, but they charge for this service, and the issue returns randomly again. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited - Mileage 8,855 - Owned for 6 months!!! - 11/22/2025 System failure with the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) & Active Braking (AB). Available for inspection upon request until vehicle buyback is complete. - At the point of failure the brakes locked up while traveling through a busy intersection bringing the vehicle to a complete stop and resulting in total engine power loss. The jeep was disabled for approximately 10-15 minutes before being able to start and move it clear of traffic. The abrupt braking could have caused a rear-end collision had someone been close behind us which also could have caused numerous vehicles to be involved. We turned off the FCW & AB system through the setting on the vehicle infotainment screen. - 11/26/2025 The dealership where we purchased the vehicle, confirmed numerous transmission codes and found metal shaving in the transmission fluid through a fluid test. Chrysler advised them to perform a "relearn" on the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and required us to drive it 500 miles to complete the "drive relearn" putting our safety at risk should this not be effective. On 11/27/2025 after turning the FCW & AB system back on, within 2 miles of performing the "drive relearn" the check engine light came back on and noise from the transmission was prominent. The vehicle went into limp mode not allowing acceleration past 10-15mph. On 12/1/2025 The Jeep was taken back to the dealership where they scanned and found code P0729 for gear error in 6th gear. They found the transmission internally failing. For 68 days Chrysler requested numerous testing from the dealership until finally agreeing to the warranty for a new transmission. Work completed 1/29/2026. - The vehicle has only been inspected by the dealerships mechanic who also performed the transmission swap. - There was no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ENGINE, POWER TRAIN
I was leaving a light and turning left onto incoming traffic Columbia and John young parkway. Vehicle turned off with no option of turning back on . I rolled onto the right curb but was sticking my vehicle out. Me and my wife and teenage son. Feared for our life due to the car not turning on and incoming traffic . This is a serious issue and hazard. The car asked me to put the car in park. After I did that the car would not turn on. Called SOS and Assist. We had Roadside coming 45 min later.There was a high pitched sound coming from the engine compartment . The car would not turn off at all. The Push Start Button would not turn the vehicle off or on. The Round buttons for D/N would not turn at all. The Tow truck driver use a red pull handle and put the transmission in neutral. It’s a release that was on the driver side pillar of the vehicle. After we arrived to Napleton Jeep the car immediately turned on. Our biggest safety concern is that this would’ve happened on a highway and my wife would not know how to react resulting in an accident or fatality. This is an issue that never in our 30 Years of experience we had with any of our vehicle brands. I wish the National Highway Safety Administration take measures to Jeep and investigate this matter. The power liftgate would start to close unexpectedly. At first, we would hit the button and it would stop closing, but this did not stop it recently and the door did not stop closing. If I had not been a 200lb man, it would have killed me. I had to force the door up to stop it and broke the piston. Had I been smaller, I don’t know what would have happened. My neck and back were injured from the force of it attempting to close on me without stopping

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, STEERING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
The vehicle is currently inoperable and has been in the shop over 60 days. Intermittent power loss resulting in losing some safety components while driving such as power steering, adaptive breaking etc On 7 different occasions it has left my family stranded and even once completely locked out with all car seats and identification inside. We were unable to open the vehicle and it had to be towed. Thankfully all children were out of their car seats and outside of the vehicle. Purchase date : Feb 2025 13,000 miles 7 instances and has been to a dealership each time and they cannot figure it out. I am without a vehicle Videos and service papers are available but unable to upload the videos here. We have a case manager with Stellantis but getting nowhere. Urging others to file complaint as there are many online Vehicle is at Hoover Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Moncks Corner , South Carolina where is has been each time there was an issue. 854-300-3800
