Summary7-Speed Automatic Transmission (AT) Lock Up Retailer Inventory ***** Retailer Announcement ***** INFINITI is conducting a retailer inventory quality action on to inspect 6 specific 2019 INFINITI Q50 and 43 specific INFINITI QX80 vehicles identified in Service Comm, to inspect the transmission torque converter. Affected vehicles are subject to a stop sale and are either currently in retailer inventory or assigned and in transit to the retailer. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. P9331. ï· - New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). o Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information ï· - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Please do not drive, sell, loan or trade the specific vehicles in Retailer Inventory subject to this Quality Action. 3. Use the attached procedure to inspect the vehicle: ï· - If the data shows the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Monitor (TCC SOL MON) increases to 0.4A during steady cruise at or above 25MPH, no further action is necessary ï§ - File a claim for the inspection, and release the vehicle for sale

Summary2018-2019 QX80; STEERING WHEEL JUDDERS WHILE TURNING AT LOW SPEED IF YOU CONFIRM The vehicle has a judder in the steering wheel while turning and only at speeds between 1-9 MPH. ACTION Replace the power steering high pressure piping with the part listed in the Parts Information on page 6. IMPORTANT: Inform the customer that this repair will reduce, but does not eliminate the amount of judder felt in the steering wheel during low speed parking lot maneuvers.

This bulletin contains important service procedures that must be performed properly in order to set-up and maintain the telematics system for the Applied Vehicles. ï - A table has been provided on the next page that lists the model and year-specific steps required to successfully configure a TCU after it has been replaced. ï - A check OFF sheet has been provided on page 13 to print and check off steps as they are performed. Please staple the completed Check OFF Sheet to the repair order.

SERVICE INFORMATION If the AEB warning light is blinking (but not illuminated steadily) or the customer states it is blinking, and there are no related DTCs, inspect the windshield. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: - When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield - When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the lane camera viewing window on the windshield - When the lane camera viewing window on the windshield is temporarily fogged up NOTE: - If DTCs are present in any of the following related systems: - Laser/Radar, - ICC/ADAS, or - Lane Camera, Refer to the related Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for diagnosis. - Refer to the following pages for further information.

SummaryEXTERIOR CLEANING INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION When cleaning the exterior of an Infiniti vehicle, damage may occur when using a cleaner with too high of an alkaline concentration. - Always refer to the Appearance and care section of the related owner?s manual. - Not all cleaners are created equal. - Many cleaners come in concentrated form. - Alkaline cleaners (cleaners with a high pH value) can cause spots on paint and trim when not used as directed. - Some commercial car washes use cleaners with a high pH value. - When using cleaners that meet the conditions defined in the Appearance and care section, be sure to carefully follow the cleaner?s directions. - When finished cleaning/washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water. IMPORTANT: Damage to paint, glass, bright metal, or any other exterior surface caused by using improper cleaning products is not covered under warranty. Always refer to the Paint Incident Identification Manual (PIIM) and Assurance Products Reference Manual (APRM). Follow the guidelines in the PIIM and APRM for non-warrantable exterior body, glass, or painted surface quality issues.
