SummaryCERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement “Certification Label” or “VIN Plate/Label” may be needed. HINT: Certification Label = FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) label. These items may be available from Infiniti by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. · The “VIN Plate/Label” (metal plate or vinyl label) is attached to the instrument panel or body on the driver side at the base of the windshield (see Figure 1). · The “Certification Label” (vinyl adhesive label) is located on the lower area of the driver side B-Pillar (see Figure 1).

SummaryIF YOU CONFIRM The client states that either the rear hatch is inoperative, or the rear hatch closes after opening only a small amount, AND DTC B2426-23 for “SPINDLE SENSOR LH” and/or DTC B2427-23 for “SPINDLE SENSOR RH” is stored, AND/OR There is a growling type noise from the rear hatch area when opening/closing the rear hatch. · DTC B2426-23 for “SPINDLE SENSOR LH” and/or DTC B2427-23 for “SPINDLE SENSOR RH” may also be stored. HINT: If any DTC other than B2426-23 and/or B2427-23 is stored, this bulletin does not apply. ACTION Replace ONLY the spindle unit that is confirmed to be setting one of the DTCs listed above and/or causing the growling noise. Do NOT replace both spindle units when diagnosis leads to replacement of only one. HINT: Rear hatch spindle units are not hydraulic systems. If a rear hatch spindle unit appears to be leaking, this is normal drainage of water (rain, car wash, condensation) and design intended water management. Do not replace spindle units for suspected leaking. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. You MUST closely follow the entire SERVICE PROCEDURE as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair.

This behavior is normal, and no repairs should be performed. When the AEB system performs an intentional shutdown, the customer may state the following: The ICC stopped working while driving, The AEB/FEB warning light is ON, or turned ON, while driving (Figure 1), The message “Unavailable Front Radar Obstruction” or “Forward Driving Aids Temporarily Disabled Front Sensor Blocked See Owner's Manual” has displayed while driving (Figure 2). Summary***** Retailer Announcement ***** INFINITI is conducting a quality action on specific 2025 QX50 and QX55 vehicles in connection with an on-going investigation. Retailers will inspect both passenger (right) side tires and, if necessary, replace each tire that has a cut inner sidewall. Due to a manufacturing concern, which since has been corrected, the tires may have been damaged during vehicle assembly. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaign I.D. PD133 • New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified by using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information • Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for QA applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. Have the client contact the AT&T Support line at 1 (888) 719-7242. See ITB12-011 for models built before those listed above. SERVICE INFORMATION The APPLIED VEHICLES are equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). The TCU communicates with the Infiniti Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. This bulletin contains important service procedures that must be performed properly in order to set-up and maintain the telematics system for the APPLIED VEHICLES. An Order of Completion table has been provided on the next page that lists the steps required to successfully configure a TCU after it has been replaced. A CHECK-OFF SHEET has been provided on page 16. Print and check off steps as they are completed. Staple the completed CHECK-OFF SHEET to the repair order.
