(Nissan) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Rogue, 2019-2020 Altima, 2019-2022 Infiniti QX50, and 2022 Infiniti QX55 vehicles equipped with 3-cylinder 1.5L or 4-cylinder 2.0L variable compression turbo (VC-Turbo) engines. The engine bearings may have manufacturing defects that can lead to engine failure.
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 INFINITI QX55 and 2022 INFINITI QX50 vehicles. The incorrect door latch may have been installed in the front right-side passenger door lock assembly, preventing the front right-side door lock from automatically locking.
There is a rattling or knocking noise coming from the engine, and the vehicle experiences a loss of power whenever I accelerate. While driving, the collision warning symbol was flashing on the dashboard. The vehicle was inspected by an Infiniti dealership, and their diagnosis was that no metal debris was found in the engine oil pan, but the VCR actuator needs to be replaced. I also took the vehicle to an independent repair shop specializing in Infiniti vehicles. They recommended taking it back to the dealership for repairs because there is a recall campaign related to engine replacement due to the damage found, and there is a possibility that the engine may need to be replaced. The independent repair shop provided the following notes: Notes: Upon arrival, the vehicle had the Check Engine, ABS, Brake, Traction Control (TRAC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), SRS, Airbag, and other warning lights illuminated on the dashboard.

2022 Infinity QX55 Luxe.....Rear door lock system issues...The door jams and you cannot open the door from the inside and outside of the vehicle. This creates a serious safety issue. People can be trapped inside the car and first responders cannot get the door open...It is a problem with the door actuator and unlock cable design. I have had one door fixed previously with new factory parts by the dealer service.dept. Now the other rear door is having the same issue. This is a serious safety issue as there is not warning for this to happen. There is no way to exit the vehicle from that seat in the event of an accident.

Complete sudden engine failure , motor lost acceleration. It started with engine knocking then full and complete engine failure. Oil light illuminated when engine failed. I did check the engine and oil was full on a cold engine and the vehicle is properly maintained as it is a leased infiniti vehicle. Please note there have been two previous engine light incidents. First I was told it was a speaker in the rear door, second I was informed it was an evaporation seal. Lastly was this very intense engine shut down. I have research and found that there are issues with the turbo bearing with my particular engine and turbo. Engine 2.OL 4 cylinder ( KR20DDET)
