My brand new 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport-L experienced sudden significant power loss while operating on highway around 300 or so miles. Dashboard displayed warning: 'Emissions system problem — power may be reduced — see your dealer.' I had to immediately get off the highway and very slowly drive back home and then took it to the dealer as soon as their service dept. opened after that. Vehicle subsequently diagnosed at David McDavid Honda Irving with fuel injector failure requiring complete replacement under warranty. Highway power loss on a brand new vehicle at 300+ miles represents a serious safety hazard. Vehicle has been at dealer since May 26, 2026 for warranty repairs and even after 9 days they have not been able to resolve the issue and i am still waiting to pick up my car. Honda Corporate Case opened.

I have had a continuous problem with the steering wheel intermittently stiffen and bind. I brought this to the attention of the service manager, Tony Rocha at Ed Morse Honda. He agreed that there was a problem with the Powering Steering Rack (Gear Box) and that this has been an ongoing problem with the CR-V. However, at this time there is not a recall on the 2019, just on the newer CR-V's. I contacted Honda and their response was to offer me $1,000 off of the $5,677.51 needed repair to correct the issue that they have been aware of for years. The vehicle is not safe to drive with a defective steering gearbox. This problem has been going on for well over a year on my CR-V. I have always had my vehicle serviced and maintained at Ed Morse Honda. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. There were no warning messages - just difficulty steering, increasing the risk of crash or injury.

• The wipers do not distribute washer fluid at all to the passenger side of the windshield. The design of washer fluid distribution is terrible and this is obviously quite dangerous. • All vehicle occupants, and others outside the vehicle are at risk due to poor visibility that can occur when dirt/salt accumulate on the windshield and can't be wiped away properly and the driver cannot see clearly on 1/2 the windshield. • Yes. This is a known issue and just "By Design" • Many other CR-V (6th Generation) owners experience the same issue. Honda won't fix it. • No warning lights appear. This is a massive design flaw. Lastly: I have not seen an improvement of the design of the washer fluid distribution in subsequent models which leads me to believe that Honda may not properly address this issue until the next generation of CR-Vs. That said, many of us customers have been discussing how to solve this with aftermarket wiper fluid sprays since Honda is not fixing it for us.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving, the steering wheel became loose and grabbed. The vehicle felt like it was traveling into another lane. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V663000 (Steering). While her husband was driving, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who provided a front-end alignment. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering assembly gearbox needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, who confirmed there was no recall coverage. The manufacturer mentioned goodwill assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 100,018.

While getting the cr-v fuel pump mtr saf recall fixed on my vehicle, the dealership found a crack in the fuel pump module. They also said there is a leak in the head gasket and a purge flow malfunction. They stopped any work on my vehicle and said I needed to replace my vehicle with a new vehicle. If a Honda dealership is not willing to work on my vehicle, what am I supposed to do with it?

Steering sticks. Wont re-center when turning corners. This is a safety issue for sure when it wont steer well at all. Yes. I took it to an alignment shop and the tech drove it and said he nearly hit a curb as the wheel did not re-center when turning a corner. Two independent shops checked it and both thought it was the steering gear box. It has never steered well since it was new. I thought it was just the all wheel drive or something until lately when it started to really just stick. There is a recall for this exact same problem on 2022 &2023 models. Not on the 2021s. Why? Honda even has a service bulletin telling that it is a problem #A2411 I do have an appoint to get the problem verified at a Honda dealer. They were well aware that it is also a problem on the 2022 models

Honda put the CR-V lidar censor behind the logo emblem on the front grill. The logo is easy to remove, and the censors are being stolen at alarming rates. They're utterly unprotected, and cost over $2000 to fix/replace. It is a huge design flaw and it's unfair that they've saddled car owners with no ability to prevent theft, and huge replacement fees if a theft occurs. I just had the logo emblem stolen and it cost over $320 to replace. That's unacceptable and I'm really mad at whoever designed this car.

We are experiencing the dangerous 'Sticky/Notchy' electric power steering (EPS) conditions in our 2022 Honda CR-V, identical to the symptoms described in NHTSA Recall 24V-744. The steering wheel momentarily binds or sticks, particularly at highway speeds and when attempting to complete or recover from a turn. It requires noticeable extra physical effort to 'break' the wheel free from this sticky center point, which frequently causes the vehicle to momentarily jerk or overcorrect. The issue has become progressively worse with the onset of warmer summer weather. Our independent mechanic verified the issue but confirmed our specific 2022 VIN falls just outside the current recall parameters. Because the 2022 CR-V shares similar EPS components and exhibits the exact manufacturing defect, safety risk, and component degradation as the 2023–2025 models, the NHTSA should expand the recall population to include these earlier production dates before a serious incident occurs.

Multiple times when driving on the freeway, there will be no obstruction whatsoever on a clear road, with a clean car — it will emergency break, or attempt to. I have had it diagnosed and nothing related to break system etc was ever found. This happens often and has almost caused a couple crashes.

The vehicle has accumulated 121,000 miles and has undergone all necessary services at the Honda dealership where it was originally purchased. The vehicle was driven under normal operating conditions by original owner. Now has a broken head gasket that a local Honda dealer wanted nearly 7k for the repairs. How does this happen and why? Since other owners are having the same issue, this should have been dealt with previously. Now I am without my car for the better part of a week. Please fix this!

A franchised dealership has actively undermined a federal safety mandate, creating an immediate vehicle fire hazard. On [XXX], I took my 2018 Honda CR-V to Bedard Bros Honda in Cheshire, MA, for NHTSA Safety Recall Campaign 23V-858 (Fuel Pump Module). During the service, the dealer identified a cracked fuel pump housing and attempted to charge me a $390 fee to replace it. When I declined this commercial upcharge on a safety recall, the technician reassembled the pressurized fuel system using the broken housing and released the vehicle to me. Prior to this appointment, the vehicle had no fuel leaks or odors. Immediately upon driving the vehicle home and parking it, the vehicle began actively leaking raw gasoline, filling the cabin with toxic, flammable vapors. The dealership’s decision to perform a federal safety recall inside a known broken component, and subsequently release a vehicle with a compromised fuel system to avoid completing a free repair, has created an active fire emergency. The dealer invoice explicitly documents the crack and their attempted charge. I am requesting a formal investigation into this dealership's handling of Campaign 23V-858. I am having a terrible problem with the steering wheel, keeping it in the lane along with hearing a loud noise when turning the steering wheel left to right. I only have 63,000 miles on this car. Took it to a dealership and they said it is the Electric Power Assist System. I am finding out there is a recall with this very thing but that my car was not on the list. It should be. I am having this very problem. It is to dangerous to drive. Honda has a reputation for being a great safety car. This one is not. They said the charge would be $4500. This is not right. I am a [XXX] and [XXX]. I don't believe the manufacturer has been honest about this safety issue...they claim only 54 cars were affected. Please check into it for me please. Dozens of photos&videos avail. When rains or humidity electrical is severely effected. All electrical warning lights turn on. Car wont shut off. Econo mode wont work and car stalls. Wipers wont turn off while driving. Lane change notification warnings go haywire and are unreliable. Has been "fixed"5 times and still happening. Car turned on by itself recently when it rained. Research has revealed that this is a common complaint with this particular vehicle/model. When conditions are dry it goes back to normal. This has been happening for a year and nobody has been able to fix it because they seem to not understand Honda Electrical. I have to tarp my car when off.

Washer fluid pours out onto windshield instead of spraying. This causes excessive use of washer fluid and a windshield that is not being cleaned effectively resulting in possible hazardous driving conditions due to visibility issues.

- #11740946May 29, 2026STRUCTURE:BODY, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
CHRONOLOGY OF CASCADING VEHICLE SAFETY FAILURES VIN [XXX] Vehicle 2015 Honda CR-V. 1 STRUCTURAL BODY FRAME DEFECT. Vehicle has a chronic upper body structural alignment defect allowing massive water intrusion to bypass factory headliner and moonroof seals. Multiple consecutive factory OEM headliners have been destroyed by water logging, proving the upper tracking architecture is permanently warped and cannot maintain an environmental seal. 2 ELECTRICAL FAILURE ENGINE STALL HAZARD. Saturated water tracking through the upper frame has migrated into primary engine bay electrical lines. This chronic moisture caused a severe short circuit that fried the vehicle alternator, voltage regulator, and primary battery requiring emergency replacement. This infrastructure breakdown creates an imminent safety risk of sudden loss of vehicle charging power and dangerous engine stalling while operating at highway speeds. 3 ADAS INFRASTRUCTURE FAILURES. Moisture migration has breached the primary dashboard wire harnesses causing active continuous power dropouts and glitching across the center infotainment screen and main driver instrument display interface, blinding the operator to speedometers and critical crash avoidance alerts. 4 AIRBAG HAZARDS ACTIVE BIOHAZARD. Saturated water tracking down internal pillars runs directly over Side Curtain Airbag modules and electronic connectors, risking sensor corrosion. Cabin flooding has saturated seating foam, endangering electronic Occupant Classification Sensors OCS that regulate passenger airbag deployment forces. Unremediated moisture left toxic mold spores festering beneath the seating infrastructure, causing severe respiratory irritation to occupants. REPAIR STATUS. Unresolved safety defect. Repair networks failed to remediate structural hazards. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
