When I drove at around 4-50 mph. The car lost power, stalled and all the sensors and warning were on. I also smelled gasoline inside the cabin.

STEERING
Starting when the car had approximately 2,500 miles, the steering would become sticky or notchy. Steering would start off smoothly, then suddenly become sticky after driving a few miles. I need to apply excess pressure to the steering wheel, which doesn't allow me to keep the car placed in the lane where I want it to be. I can't steer smoothly and the car has more movement then I want it to have. I brought it to the dealer and they kept the car for 4 days and had several people test drive it. When they returned it to me, they agreed something wasn't right, but since they could not pinpoint the problem, they couldn't make a repair. They told me to bring it back if it happens again. It started to happen again when I drove it home from the dealer.

SUSPENSION
I have a 2009 Honda CR-V that had a recall performed on 9/13/23. After the recall was performed the car is still not safe. But Honda is saying the car is safe even though it will not pass NYS inspection after the recall was performed. I first called Honda on 9-14-23 and they wanted documents from dealership saying it’s unsafe. On 9-18-23 the dealership put the car through NYS inspection and failed because of the area to do with the recall. Sent this information into honda. They didn’t get back to me until I called back. They went on to say the whole underside of car is bad which is not true. Then trailered car to 3 different shops. All 3 shops said the unsafe part is where the recall was performed. Sent this information into Honda and again they pushed me off basically saying not there problem. I have not driven the car since the recall has been performed. The person I spoke to at Honda went on to tell me they performed an inspection that meets NHTSA standards for the recall. But I’m wondering if it doesn’t meet NYS inspection standard how can they say it’s safe for me to drive ?

POWER TRAIN
Known Honda issue- tsb a15-086 Software update and trans fluid change in 2018 due to car juddering with light acceleration, did not fix problem. 10/20/23 car was road tested and concern was present. Needs new torque converter to fix original concern

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed and the collision sensing system deactivated. The contact stated that when the vehicle veered into a different lane the forward collision did not activate. The collision mitigation warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the was diagnosed that the the collision sensing system was re-calibrated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 16,000.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Door locks began opening and closing on their own while I was driving. I have replaced battery twice since this began. The auto repair place and AAA were unable to locate a cause for the electrical problem. The car will not stay locked. I was robbed of my personal property while it was parked. It is not really safe to drive since I cannot secure myself in it.

The information screen, which provides all of the safety backup camera and sensors and entertainment and other adjustments and information won’t turn on. It is very important when backing up. A replacement is not available for months per Honda corporate customer service.

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V228000 (Structure) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. STEERING
2023 Honda CR-V purchased in Dec 2022. Has about 5000 miles. The steering started to feel like it was sticking. I thought it might be related to one of the safety systems, so I turned off Lane Departure and Lane Keep Assist. The sticking stopped for about a week but then returned. It is really noticeable on the highway at high speeds and makes it very hard to drive straight. This seems to be getting worse on non-highway driving.

I was in a major car accident. My Honda CR-V air bags did not deploy. Due to the accident I have a neck and back injury. My insurance company has declared my vehicle a total loss. Millions of Americans are driving Honda CR-Vs and due to air bag failure their lives are at risk in the case of a collision. I have called Honda and asked them to investigate the failure of their air bags deployment. They have refused to do so. I am requesting the NHTSA investigate Honda CR-Vs air bag malfunction and help to save many Americans lives. Passenger rear trailing arm broke off from body mount. Vehicle is still available for inspection. Coming to a stop sign and car came to an abrupt stop. Something had stopped the car before I even got to the stop sign. Coming down to the stop sign car began to lost steering and swayed back and forth. Car is in very good condition has 138,100 miles on it. But now it can,t be driven cant be fixed and be safe. Still books for $3200.00. Our family was left vulnerable to a horrible accident if going any faster when this happened. Broke down on a back road at 10:30 p.m. close to a stop sign. Had to be towed. A recall of the 2007 to 2011 CR-V. stated that this happens to those models. They didn't go back far enough on this recall and if I hadn't told people who still have the 2005- 2006 model they wouldn't have known and this could happen to them. Vehicle was inspected by insurance co. and Honda dealership and reported to Honda corp. Rust no coverage or repair for this vehicle. Mechanic looked at can't repair and make safe. Same problem as those vehicles recalled. But because it wasn't on the recall list there is nothing they can do about this vehicle. This left me, my loved ones vulnerable to a serious accident if I had been on a freeway let alone on any road going 50 and above in speed. No warnings what so ever that this could happen. No messages, no lamps no letters from Honda nothing.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
When I was driving on highway when moving from Texas to Indiana, about 11 warning lights were suddenly on. After sending my car to a local vehicle and mechanic autocenter, the vehicle has been detected code P0172 and P0304 issues which trigger check engine light one along with another 10 warning lights, including turning off cruise control and off-road detection systems. Both my local Honda dealer and mechanic auto center diagnose it as fuel injector faulty and warned me not driving it on highway for potential risk.

STEERING
The Honda Cr-V steering feels like it sticks for a couple seconds and then resumes control. Lane assist is not one. The problem is getting worse. At first I thought it was just uneven pavement, but now it's noticeable on smooth pavement, especially at higher speeds. Maintaining straight driving feels jerky.

STEERING
At speeds above 40 miles on the highway, the steering occasionally feels sticky or resistant, disrupting the smoothness of the drive. The best way I can explain it is this: Imagine you're driving on a straight road at a speed above 40 Miles, gradual turn with the steering wheel turned only slightly. Then, when you need to adjust it a bit more to stay on the road, it feels like there's a momentary increase in resistance, almost as if the steering briefly "sticks" and then returns to its usual firmness. It's as if the steering wheel gets stuck in a groove during the gentle turn, and the resistance doesn't have a smooth feel when you're trying to adjust further into or out of the turn. If I were to make an educated guess, it could be related to one of the safety systems integrated into the steering mechanism. This issue seems to persist even when Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist are turned off.
