Both incidents occurred in daylight on a clear, level paved road with no cars ahead in the lane at 35MPH (estimated). Cruise control was OFF. These isolated incidents have not been previously reported and no injuries occured.

Primarily at higway speeds, there is a slight binding/resistance that has to be overcomed when making a small steering correction when turning the steering wheel slightly to the right. Dealer turned off all driving assisted computer programs and said problem fixed. The problem still exsists. The steering movement is no entirely free.

The incident happened on 11/2/2023 at 8:40 AM ET. I was at the speed of about 25-30 miles/hour to drop my daughter at preschool. Suddenly, I received an alert on my dashboard saying "Brake System Problem". When I applied brakes, the vehicle wouldn't stop. I pressed brake pedal very hard and kept it that way for a while. The vehicle gradually came to a stop but it took long for a vehicle to come to a stop. It was a 'brake failure experience'. If there was a downward slope and/or if I was at a higher speed, the vehicle would have gone out-of-control. I don't recall if I felt automatic acceleration when this incident happen. After vehicle came to a stop, I immediately engaged the parking brake, stopped the ignition, called emergency road-side assistance and got the vehicle towed to a dealership. This incident definitely put me, my 3 year old daughter, and others on the road at risk. Dealership inspected the vehicle. They found an error code that confirms the occurrence of the problem but they are unable to duplicate the issue. They don't know why it happened, nor can they guarantee that this will not happen again. They said they followed manufacturers guidelines to troubleshoot the problem. Since they cannot find why it happened, they don't have anything to fix, and advised me to pay the labor charges and pick my vehicle. I reported this issue to American Honda. Case # 14229789. They were concerned that the brakes should have responded well since the model is not hybrid or fully electric. This makes me feel more nervous. American Honda said they are going to investigate this and will get in touch with the dealership where the vehicle currently is. This vehicle was inspected and serviced at the same Honda dealership about 3 weeks ago. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained. All routine maintenances have been done at Honda dealership consistently on time. The vehicle has relatively new battery from 2022. I request you to look into the matter and advise.

Evidence of corrosion on the rear trailing arms as described in the recent salt belt recall of 07-11 Honda CRV’s. Petition to expand the monitoring and repair scope of this recall to include the Appalachian regions of North Carolina and Tennessee as the use of road salt is also prevalent in these areas.

Car cames to a stop and instead of stopping straight up it stops and the car frame and suspension still moves. The suspension can cause a wreak for not stoping in time. Also when i put it in neutral it goes backwards on flat ground other then forward. So something is wrong with the shifter or the sway bars also when u put it in park some times it still moves forward

I bought this car used from a dealership about a week ago and have noticed that the steering wheel sticks to the left and right when I'm going around gentle corners. It makes a clicking noise and sticks for a second and I have to pull it back into position around the corner. It feels very unsafe and I'm disappointed that I'm going to have to take it back to a dealership so quickly after purchasing it. A small amount of research shows that this is a very common and concerning issue that people are having and I hope Honda does something about it soon! Please recall and fix the issue.

Vehicle door locks acting up off & on for several years. Sometimes not unlocking needing to insert key to unlock, other times passenger door not locking when using fob and doors locking & unlocking while driving. Now most recently cannot open drivers door from inside. It can be opened from the outside. This is very dangerous if you needed to get out of car quickly, not to mention the inconvenience of crawling over the center console to get out of passenger door. I am [XXX] and will never buy another Honda as I’ve read about the problems with this. Too bad because I really like my crv. Our Vehicle 2019 Honda CRV with VIN: purchased in October 2019 had issues related to NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 21V215000 at approx. 24K miles but the VIN was not in the list of vehicles with recall. Vehicle would stop after backing up from parking in the middle of the road with new battery and plenty of gas. This would happen with hot engine and you would see all sensor warnings on the dashboard. Car would not start after jumpstart with california AAA checked battery and starter. At first doing computer reset by disconnecting battery waiting 5 mins and reconnecting would work. The dealer service cannot reproduce the issue. After one month the issue appeared again and new service shop got the code P0087 consistent with the recall. We believe many more vehicles are affected by the CAMPAIGN ID: 21V215000 but not listed under the recall. Recall initially had 640.000 vehicles why were some of the vin's from 2019 not listed please investigate with Honda. This was low pressure fuel pump issue and the vehicle is fine after the third party shop replaced the part.

This issue happened immediately after buying the car. When I turn the steering wheel it makes a clicking sound. I brought it into Honda and they replaced a belt but the issue starting again within the hour. When I brought it back in I was told that they were able to find one video in the Honda service center with this issue. It turns out this happened with 2020-2024 Honda Civics which were recalled. I've contacted Honda 15 times with no reply. I have a complaint number, Fedexed and emailed leaders, emailed where I bought the car, etc.

- #11552960November 1, 2023FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Earlier this morning, while driving in stop-and-go traffic, I attempted to accelerate once traffic ahead of me had cleared. There was no car, obstruction, etc., in front of my car for at least one car length, if not more. As I accelerated, the CMBS system suddenly kicked in, flashing BRAKE on my dash and applying the brake. My car came to a complete stop. Luckily, the person behind me had started up slowly and did NOT rear end me. I could not say with complete confidence how fast I was going, I had accelerated to maybe 10-20 mph before the issue occurred. I have not seen a dealer or service center since the incident and there was no police or insurance representatives engaged (as thankfully there was no accident).

I have a 2015 Honda CRV and approximately 18-24 months ago the battery went dead and I took it to the Honda dealer. They checked the battery and said it was fine. I thought perhaps I left my lights on. A short time later, the battery went dead again. I took it back to the same dealer (February 19, 2022) and they gave me a new battery. A short time later, the battery went dead yet again. I returned to the dealer (August 1, 2022) and they gave me a second battery. A short time later, it went dead again. I returned to the dealer (October 26, 2022), insisting to them it couldn't be the battery - there must be something else wrong. They completed a parasitic draw procedure, charged $939.67 and claimed to have fixed it. A short time later, the battery went dead yet again. I returned to the dealer (November 16, 2022) and the service manager told me there was nothing more they could do, they already spent countless time on this issue and that I just needed to drive the car more. On October 13, 2023, the battery went dead yet again. This time, I contacted Honda Customer Service and was assigned a case manager who proceeded to tell me that I needed to go back to the dealer and obtain a diagnosis before they could help me. On October 31, 2023, I contacted the service manager at the dealer who told me he was going to charge me by the hour and that the diagnosis may take many hours to determine. There is clearly a defect with this car! There is a class action lawsuit pending which includes many, many prior complaints made to NHTSA on this issue. I am not motivated to continue to pay a dealer to fix an issue that apparently should have been solved by a product recall.

The contact owns a 2008 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle briefly lost motive power before returning to normal functionality. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number: 11V395000 (Power Train), but the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was 190,000
