Went 12/21/24 Coggin Honda Orlando for oil change and they also do safety recall campaign fuel pump motor. After replacement still with problem worst because have problem starting the vehicle. When for 2 time they fix pinched o-ring, get the car worse this time my car shut off when backing up. When 3 time they change again fuel pump this time inside the car smell too much gasoline have drive back home with windows down and car also turn off in the highway at 60 miles putting me and my family at risk of an accident im highway plus smell gasoline got my throat sore.

I was driving about 25 miles per hour, there were no cars in front of me (in either direction). The car suddenly slammed on the brakes for no reason. My passenger and I were both thrown towards the steering wheel and dashboard, things came flying from the back seat to the front, falling down by the pedals. I was very nearly rear ended, the car behind me was able to swerve to the left but was extremely angry. The car went into neutral, but possibly because something came from the back seat and hit the gearshift, I'm not sure about that. I was stuck in neutral with traffic horns blaring at me. If I'd have been pulling out into traffic when this happened I would easily have been hit broadside. I brought my car to the dealer, they said there was nothing wrong and that perhaps I didn't understand how the system works. I'm certain that it is not meant to bring the car to a screeching halt when there is literally nothing in front of you anywhere.

It was snowing day, I drove in a local road around 10mph. When facing with a curve, I hit the brake yet the snow cause the tail tilted to the curb. Three of the passenger side airbags exploded and no body damage was detected. I'm not sure if the speed was fast enough for the airbags to deployed.

Well maintained vehicle with less than 86,000 miles and all 4 fuel injectors failed, causing check engine light, which caused all assistive device systems to turn off (collision avoidance, abs, traction control, etc.). In researching the issue, these injectors are failing in this make/model frequently at mileages well before you would expect a fuel injector to wear out, suggesting there is a defect in the injectors used in this model year CRV.

The glass pane of my sunroof imploded while driving on the highway. The damage sounded like an explosion or something falling through the sunroof. The glass exploded “up” instead of down into the cavity between the glass and roof visor. There was no projectile. I took plenty of photographs. The failure happened suddenly without any indication of glass failure. I feel that my safety was impacted because it thoroughly startled myself and my passenger. The road was full of cars and the explosions could easily have put me in an unsafe position. Furthermore the glass pieces exploded out onto the highway which could have startled the driver behind me. As of writing, the car is being inspected by a mechanic and a glass replacement company. I called Honda corporate and they said they were not aware of any such malfunctions. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
The module for the interpretation of sensor output caused the reporting of false alerts. The vehicle is available for inspection. My safety was compromised by 10 alerts recurring alerts as I was driving at the posted speed on in Interstate highway. The problem has not been reproduced. The Honda Dealer inspected the vehicle at my expense. Only the Honda Dealer has inspected the vehicle. The vehicle’s System Indicators Panel displayed the false alerts. See the attached .pdf files. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 92,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

2018 Honda CRV with 47,000 miles bought 12/23/24. Upon driving the car that evening all warning lights on dashboard lit up, and every warning started popping up on the dash - hill start assist error, power steering problem, parking brake problem, vehicle stability assist problem, etc. Car drove without being affected but the warnings continued cycling through on the dashboard. Took it back to the dealer I bought it from, and they said the battery wasn't tightened down all the way. I drove it and the next day all the lights came back on, and cycled through all the warning system errors. It has since stopped again, but this seems to be an issue with the 2018 CRVs.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front passenger’s side door failed to latch as intended. The contact stated that the front passenger’s door was independently unlatched and opened. The contact stated that the failure occurred twice while her young daughter was occupying the front passenger’s seat. In addition, while starting the vehicle, the door ajar warning light illuminated. After several attempts to close and latch the front passenger’s door, the warning light turned off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. Hi - Happy New Year! When temperatures dropped in late Nov/ early Dec 2024, my driver side mirror cracked when I did a remote started. I park my car in my own driveway (safe neighborhood and also with security camera) and there was no external damage. Car is new (bought in March 2024) and had less than 7,000 miles.

Honda dealer service has replaced Fuel pump as part of recall for my vehicle. After replacing the fuel pump, my car battery gets drained off very often and not able to start. I checked the battery and other parts including alternator in Firestone, everything looks good. So this is something to do with Fuel pump recall which was causing the battery to drain out.

The contact was informed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the repair was not covered under recall. In addition, the contact stated that the failure was persistent. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage 38,000.

Vehicle stalls while accelerating from a stop. I have had it checked out with a mechanic but he could diagnose the cause. I take great care when especially making a left turn. When the vehicle stalls I have to gently accelerate so it won’t shut down. Very unsafe. Has been occurring for the last 2 years.

Description of incident: Saturday, [XXX] I was in traffic on I [XXX] near the [XXX] exit in Indiana. It was a stop/go, stop/go event as 6 lanes were going down to 1 lane. I was behind a Kroger semi-truck. I had my foot on the brake. I thought the people next to me had started to move, but then I noticed that I was getting closer to the truck (while my foot was on the brake). I pushed the brakes down further. I felt normal resistance. Nothing happened. I hit the cancel button of the adaptive cruise multiple times on my steering wheel thinking that perhaps my adaptive cruise started my movement. I kept rolling. Kept hitting the brakes wondering why I didn't stop. No beeps went off like they normally do. I rolled into the truck. My adaptive cruise had been set to 70, and I had used it before the incident. It was still on standby, but not green. My odometer was around 9547. This happened around 9:50am. No beeping sounds started or emergency braking happened. I would approximate my speed of hitting around 3-5 mph. I hit the truck. I had tried to switch to neutral and then to park. I could not move the gear shaft. I was hitting the brake hold. Anything to make me stop. Nothing worked, and I hit the truck. I did not move after hitting the truck, maybe one of the things I attempted to do worked. My foot was still on the brake. I pulled over, turned off the car, and restarted it. I have not applied the adaptive cruise since then. I don't know if it had anything to do with the incident, but I'm afraid to use it. If I had been moving at a faster rate, my safety and others would have been at risk. I took the car to the dealership. They provided me with a Honda multi-point vehicle inspection checklist and stated that they couldn't find anything wrong. There is definitely something wrong. SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
On 2 occasions in this past year 2024 I have had the emergency brake system completely stop the car suddenly without any cars being in front and behind. Both incidents were at night and both are caused when reflection happens or when I am driving over steel grates. This is a very critical issue as I can get hit from the rear or it can cause harm as the brake system is very fast.
