On [XXX] I parked my 2024 Honda CR-V EXL on my driveway as I do every night. Night time temperatures that night dipped into the digits, around 6 or 7 degrees. The next morning, as I prepared to take my wife to work, I noticed a vertical crack on the driver's side rear view mirror. My vehicle is still less than one-year old. Online I have read that this is not an isolated occurrence with Honda CR-Vs. I will take my car back to the Honda dealer in Bethesda, MD tomorrow, January 29th. My car is a total lemon/brick that goes into limp mode and gets stuck in accessory mode. It's a brand new Honda CR-V 2025 less than 1250 miles. Its completely useless and makes me late for work. The car is not drivable when this happens. All safety systems are disabled, battery light, check engine light. The car states "See Dealer", but the dealer refuses to work on my car. I need to report this as a safety concern so that this will turn into a recall as Honda says they are aware of the issue and can read the error codes.

My tailgate does not open in cold weather. It was been serviced by Honda several times. They said they fixed it and it still does not work so I cannot use my trunk at all in the winter. I have a disability and need to use my trunk for groceries and medical equipment. Now Honda says it is out of warranty and wants to charge me for something they never actually fixed (Garden State Honda). Please recall and permanently fix this, many people have the same issue.

NHTSA Recall Number -24V-064 - In the event of an accident front passenger frontal and knee airbags deployment. Safety Risk. I contacted Honda to resolve this issue yet I am unable to do so I was informed that to date no replacements parts are available to resolve this safety issue. They were unable to to provide a date for delivery of the replacement parts. I am following the safety precautions as I do not want an injury to occur in my vehicle. Is there a timeframe for the Honda to resolve this safety issue?

BCM box failed without warning. This caused the brand new battery to die without warning and caused the vehicle to stop recognizing both key fobs, locking me out of the vehicle. Panic alarm randomly went off in the middle of the night. If this happens in an area without cell phone service, I would not have been able to call for roadside assistance. If this happens in an unsafe area, drivers are put at risk. Problem has been diagnosed by two separate mechanics, one of whom works at Honda. There were no warnings. The only warning that seems like a warning in hindsight is that the original car battery failed without warning overnight. That battery was promptly replaced, only to have the above problem occur within two weeks.

- #11638480January 25, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
We bought this vehicle new in 2017 and now have about 78K miles on it. Since we have owned it there have been SEVERAL (at least 7) occasions where we are driving along on the highway at 35-70MPH (depending on the speed limit) and the emergency forward collision braking system suddenly applies the brakes for no reason. This has happened during daylight and nightime on the open road with no vehicles or objects anywhere in front of us or close to the side of us and, on a few occasions, nearly causing vehicles behind us to crash into us because the brakes come on unexpectedly and we are unable to do anything about it. Early on, we reported this a couple times to our Honda dealer and we were told, "that can happen if there is blowing rain or snow or even a bird flying buy, it is normal so don't worry about it." Well, it IS something to worry about because it randomly happens again and again, and we recently almost had a huge accident on Interstate 79 because of it! What is most bothersome about this DEFECT in design or implementation is that the driver has no way of knowing in advance it is going to happen because it is a random occurrence with no rhyme or reason behind it, and there is nothing the driver can do to prevent it or minimize its effects! PLEASE, investigate this and force it to be fixed because lives could easily be lost from this phantom braking if none have been lost yet!

The rear view camera system of many of these 2024 & 2025 Honda CR-Vs at night shows an image of the rear area behind the car that is greatly blurred. No object is clearly visible, and many objects are not visible at all. Does this meet the federal regulations in 49 CFR 571.111 § 5.5.1 , 5.5.2 , and 5.5.6

- #11638494January 25, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Car suddenly lost power and would not drive. Odometer only at 4,062 miles. Diagnosis was bad fuel injection system. From reviews online, seems to be a not uncommon problem. Could have caused a major accident if occurred on the highway. Was lucky I was on a lonely country road early in the morning close to home. Honda is repairing at no cost but very concerned that brand new vehicle had such a serious issue without any recall notice.

Brakes failed due to a known issue with the Brake Simulator. The same vehicle has been recalled in Japan for this reason. Brakes became completely non-responsive while driving. Again, this is a known issue. The brakes simply due not work and in Japan they have identified a manufacturing process defect. [XXX] Vehicle was inspected by Team Honda in Baton Rouge. Many lights on the dash are warning that there is a defect. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I have had problems with my power steering. I received a recall notice in November 2024. I went to my dealer in December and they said they do not have the part and to check back in Jan. I went back in January 2025, and I was told they cannot address the recall until May. This is unacceptable and and safety hazard given the problems I have experienced.
