2017 HONDA CRV had several warning lights came on and dealer indicated it was fuel injection problem. Dealer charged $ 1500 and fixed problem. Again this year same warnings light came on. Dealer is indicating it's due to Timimg chain issue and dealer wants to pull parts from Engibe to see what the problem is and depending on what the problem is fix it. Dealer wants to charge more money depending on what they find and is high cost item. Delaer is not specific.

Car stalls and won't accelerate. It loses power and check engine light came on. Dealer replaced fuel injectors and on the way home from dealer, it stalled again. Dealer replaced a spark plug and it worked for 2 days and again stalled. Maybe the fuel pump recall is affecting this vehicle too.

When starting my car, it started rumbling and then the following alerts came on: transmission, emissions, power, and blind spot sensor. I took the vehicle to the dealer and they noted that cylinder 4 fuel injector went bad and also cylinder 4 spark plug went bad. It was covered under warranty; however the car was not safe to drive until the above parts were changed out to working parts.

When I started up my car all warning signs popped up. I went to the dealer and they said my five year old car that has 57,000 miles needed new fuel injectors. I purchased the car in 2020 it was a brand new leftover. I am reading online that MANY other CRV owners are experiencing the same issue. This is not okay, I had to spend over $2,500 to get this fixed. Obviously something is terribly wrong and Honda should be taking care of this issue. I was just denied help through Honda. Please look into this issue I’m not the only dissatisfied customer.

My 2017 CR-V (~$80k miles) will randomly fire every system or warning alert on the dashboard. This includes vital or important alerts like Brakes, Check engine light, Tire pressure, etc. There has been no way to reset it, and it persists through car restarts, system reboots, and driving. The first time this happened was [XXX], and I was able to reset it. However, it has returned a month and a half later ([XXX]) and there has been no remedy or reset that has worked. This issue is extremely dangerous, as it completely mitigates the safety features put in place for this vehicle. With all of the system warnings misfiring and no way to reset or check which are legitimate versus a complication, I am putting myself and others at risk if I drive. I will not know if there is a true issue with a tire, my engine, my brakes... I need my car but am wary of driving it now to keep myself and others safe. It also makes some features inaccessible (i.e., cruise control). I conducted further research prior to taking it to the dealership to better understand the potential cause and what could be done. After conducting that research, it seems this is a VERY common and fairly well-known issue. I have linked one of several forums demonstrating the scope of this issue. Example forum: [XXX] The system misfires are being diagnosed as issues with the fuel injectors, and owners are getting told to replace those fuel injectors to remedy the issue (cost of which equals around $1,400-2,200). Few also report that following installation of new fuel injectors, the issue has come back. Not everyone has ~$2k to fix an issue that is so common it should have already been addressed by Honda. This car has a recall on it since Jan. 2024 for a battery harness cable. I have tried numerous times to get the recall done and each time, the dealer has not had the part. The dealer is also saying that I need to bring the car in first to inspect it before they will order the part from Honda of North America. I called Honda of North America and they say that is not true. That they just need to replace the part and I do not need to bring the car in for inspection. I am not sure what to do at this point. Honda just sent me another notice saying I need to do the recall. But my local dealer says they don't have the part and won't order it for me. Is anyone paying attention to this problem? Other people are saying that Honda is making them pay for service in order to do the recall.

- #11645537February 28, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
On Sunday [XXX] and also other times before this, the vehicle will do a fantom breaking. It will slow down, brake, when no other vehicles are near by. On [XXX], the vehicle braked hard while I was in cruise control and traveling on [XXX] near Baldwin, WI. At this time the adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and brake system warning lights came on. the vehicle was okay to drive the remainder of the way home. I took the vehicle to the Honda dealer on Wednesday February 26th. They reported that they found Code P2583-49 millimeter wave radar fail. They said that they cleared snow debris off front bumper but there was no snow debris on bumper. It was 40 some degrees. I wanted to make you aware of this system problem because the unexpected braking is very hard and could cause an accident if a driver over responds. Steering sticks when driving on the road, like it has worn tooth in a gear. You can feel it in the steering wheel. It also makes the car drift from side to side. The vehicle wants to wander on the roadway.

Fuel Pump Module improperly molded impeller. Manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner, I thought car manufacturers were required to fix safety recalls within 1 year. This recall came out 12/18/23. 1/25/25 I finally received a letter that parts are now available for repair. When I call the dealership to schedule a repair they tell me the parts are on back order and I am on a list.

The car randomly reports multiple malfunctioning of ALL safety components: Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, TPS, Hill Start Assist, Braking, Vehicle Stability assist After various time period, the warnings go away and then they restart at a later point. Mechanic reported a computer readout of P0301 which is a cylinder misfire detect. A misfire should not cause safety feature on the CR-V to sttop working.
