The TRMS system constantly displays low tire pressure. I correct the tire pressure and reset the TRMS every time but it happens again and again. . The dealer has also reset the TRMS system, and in a few days it indicated that the tire pressure went down again. I have complained to the Honda dealerships and my mechanic. They’ve not found anything wrong. If the tires are good maybe there’s something wrong with the wheels. Although I have extensive receipts for all my maintenance and repairs, and I’ve frequently complained, they seldom indicate my complaints about tire pressure.

The part i have narrowed down the problem to is the electric power steering rack. While driving down the highway at highway speeds, +50 mph, the steering will stick / hang up and then once the vehicle starts to sway / push out to one side or the other of its own lane, when you try and correct the steering to get the vehicle back to center in its lane, the steering will somewhat free up, but this happens all at once in a sudden surge and that is when your speed is the factor as to how violent you may swerve. This happens every time the vehicle is driven and it seems to be more prevalent once the vehicle hits the operating temperature or on days when mother nature decides to give us some +90° temperature days. Reading thru forums on the interweb, I have ran into several threads with others experiencing the same issue.

The contact owns a 2023 Honda Civic. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle was steering to the right independently. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was determined that the vehicle needed an alignment. The vehicle was repaired, however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was then taken back to the local dealer, where the transmission fluid was flushed; however, the failure persisted. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V704000 (Steering) however, the recall repair was not performed. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.

STICKY STEERING WHEEL AT ABOVE 50MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURN TO LEFT. HAVE TO PUT EXTRA EFFORT AND HAVE TO JERK IT TO RETURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO CENTER. THERE WAS AN EVENT OF OVER CORRECTION OF THE WHEEL. HEARD CLUNK SOUND WHEN TURN TO LEFT ONLY. I BROUGHT THE CAR TO CAPITOL HONDA AT SAN JOSE CA. FOR RECALL AND THIS IS THEIR DIAGNOSIS: "TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND VERIFIED STEERING WHEEL WILL GET HARD TO TURN BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE NOISE WHEN TURNING LEFT. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND STEERING RACK HAS INTERNAL PROBLEM. RECOMMEND REPLACING STEERING RACK AND RECHECK FOR NOISE AFTER REPLACEMENT". SERVICE ADVISOR QUOTED ME $2795.12. AREN'T DAY SUPPOSE TO REPLACE FOR FREE PER RECALL? CALLED HONDA CARS AND WAS APPROVED FOR GOODWILL ASSISTANCE. CAPITOL HONDA SERVICE MANAGER RE-QUOTED ME FOR $1134.97. I CALLED BACK HONDA CARS TO RE-OPEN THE CASE. IM WAITING FOR HONDA CARS FOR THE RESULT OF THEIR FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

My steering wheel is sticking. When I'm on a straight road it seems to get stuck especially wind the wind is blowing. This is something that's happening continuously. You have to try and over correct it without snatching the wheel.

After about 20 minutes of driving the steering wheel starts sticking. You have to put more effort into turning the steering wheel and once it comes unstuck, you slightly over correct and then have to turn back the other way which results in the same thing all over again because it keeps getting stuck. I put around 65,000 miles on the car and never had any problems until I carried the car in for the steering rack recall. They said my car was fine and it has been sticking ever since they checked it. I called them back and they said they didn't touch or adjust anything.

When driving the steering wheel sticks and the car drifts whichever direction I’ve last turned the steering. I constantly have to fight the steering wheel to keep the car going straight.

Steering is sticking, so I am having to adjust my wheel, while driving straight. When I go around a curve or make a turn it's worse. I took my car to the dealership when I learned about the recall and they didn't tell me anything. I took it back to them 2/12/24 and the "service manager" said that my WA and WB stickers weren't the same numbers as the recall. EVEN though my vin number says my car has a recall. Service manager said he would send a form to Goodwill on getting it approved, Received a text from the service manager on 2/13/24 and he says now that his district sales rep hasn't given him the approval for the Goodwill.. Its NOT THEIR LIVES at DANGER and they DO NOT CARE.......

I have about 22000 miles on my 2022 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring. I am noticing an increased frequency in "sticky steering". At approximately 40mph and higher, it feels as if I need to apply extra effort to get the steering wheel to move, and then it releases. This is not just irritating - it causes major overcorrections on the highway and has led to me crossing the lane lines. I have researched this, and I found that many other Civic drivers experience this issue.

My AC system would not blow cold and the blower made a noise. Dealer replaced condenser under extended warranty in May 2023. Same problem is occurring now less than 9 months later. Recently moved to Florida where air conditioning is a must have. Taking car to dealership tomorrow. Bottom line - Honda replaced original faulty condenser under warranty last year but unit has failed again.

Car fuel injectors will fail and cause misfiring. Dangerous to drive due to engine running rough. Unusual for fuel injectors to go out so soon especially when driven with care and using correct fuel octane.

The past few weeks I’ve been taking my vehicle for service to the Honda Dealership located in Daphne, Alabama and I’ve been complaining about suspension problems and my main concern is my tie rod end and the dealership refuses to repair, then yesterday when I brought it in for service they charged me for a diagnostics without my permission and I asked for the report and won’t hand it over and today [XXX] they did the diagnostic again and won’t hand over the report then lied and said it’s my Mass airflow sensor and there no check engine light on. For the past for weeks I’ve been wondering why the dealership has been mistreating me and it is because of the Honda manufacture, today I called the Honda manufacturer and ask if I’m listed as the vehicle owner in their systems because my vehicle is a 2016 and I haven’t had any open recall associated with my vin in the 4 years I’ve owned it. The Honda dealership gave me a document for a vin check and I’m not listed as the owner so perhaps the recalls aren’t being inserting into the proper file. I called the manufacturer and asked to speak to a supervisor and the representative refused to do so and I have a recorded conversation that I would like to forward to you once an investigation is opened. I also asked if my vehicle is apart of the national recall on the fuel pump and the manufacturer agent said no. Reference number: [XXX] I spoke with Elmer today [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Regarding NHTSA Recall Number 23V-858, Honda campaign KGC, Service Bulletin 23-103, the recall notice indicates an increased likelihood of a failed fuel pump while driving, "increasing the risk of a crash or injury". The notice goes on to say "The replacement parts needed to repair your vehicle are not currently available but are expected to be available in the fall of 2024". So, it is possible that this vehicle will remain unrepaired until near the end of 2024, more than 9 months from now. Given the safety concern, how is this acceptable?

In regards to NHTSA Recall number 23V-858, Honda campaign KGC, service bulletin 23-103, the notice states the vehicle could "lose drive power, or stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash or injury." It goes on to state "The replacement parts needed to repair your vehicle are not currently available but are expected to become available in the fall of 2024." Considering the apparent substantial safety risk, how is it acceptable that a repair is delayed by up to 9 months?

While driving at highway speeds, steering wheel seems to stick when making small adjustments. This is very tiring and concerning, not being able to fully trust that it won’t freeze up completely. Vehicle has not been inspected by anyone else. No warning lights, etc., to indicate issues.

So I had my steering rack changed on 3/23/23 because the steering wheel was having difficulty turning like it was sticking or notching feeling above 35 mph. The transition was from one lane to the other was not smooth. Now here I am less than one year later and the steering wheel is doing the exact same thing I took it in on 1/06/2024 to Gwinnett place Honda and they said they couldn’t duplicate the problem. But it happens after you drive the car for a while. So I’m waiting for it to get so bad that the problem can’t be denied at the dealer. We shouldn’t have to change a steering wheel component once every 20000 miles or once a year. The steering wheel is getting harder and harder to turn and I hear some noise when I back up. It’s pretty scary, I really doing know what to do the shop foreman said that even if I get another one it could still do it again which is crazy. I just know that it’s unsafe. Thanks
